Is hamon actually visible to other people? Or i s it shown for reader convenience?
Yes,Smokey said there was a spark of light when Joseph started using the ripple to shoot the Cola cap
I send a message to a mod and he just changed the title, thanks Orkel.

Amazing choice.
Banish any thoughts of Hamon from your brains, it becomes more irrelevant than cassette tapes post Part 3. Stands are cooler anyways because they have have more defined powers that have to be used in clever and intelligent ways versus magic lightning power that can do a million different things at the behest of Araki. Jojo's writing and conflict is best when people with two ridiculous and niche powers have to fight and seeing who is more resourceful and determined to win.
Also, at least Hamon was in around 3 parts, I have no faith that the Spin will ever return.
fuck you one defined power with a variety of uses based around some core concepts with a reliance on physical feats/the personal skill of the user is cooler than stands
no i'm not implying that stand users are less creative that's not the point
Stands allow for a much more flexible plot structure and a greater variety of opponents but I like the tightness of Part 2 and its villains a lot and how the Ripple is applied compared to the Stands, and the Spin was the best power in Steel Ball Run.
Which stands is it that are visible to ordinary people?
Strength, Wheel of Fortune, and Tohth are bound to physical objects , so of course they will be seen.
And what part of Joseph's stand is hard to get?
Anubis was visible, and later parts have Bohemian Rhapsody, Cheap Trick ([sp]Cheap Trick's ability actually relies on being seen by people[/sp]), The Fool and Earth Wind and Fire. Oh! Lonesome Me and Catch the Rainbow are both spotted by someone that does not possess a stand as well.
So, uh, the weird name censorship is so random. I genuinely don't understand why it's okay to call them the zenyatta mondatta brothers instead of Oingo Boingo, when the former is literally just the title of a Police album and nothing else.
It's primarily due to legal concerns IIRC
[editline]6th April 2015[/editline]
Also Steel Ball Run has probably beaten Battle Tendency and Diamond is Unbreakable to be my favorite parts.
I still really, really like Diamond is Unbreakable though
Anubis wasn't visible, his sword was.

I don't think many people saw this guy.

Eh, different strokes. Part of the reason Jojo appealed to me was because it wasn't another series about a guy or guys with similar abilities, everybody's stands (as the series progresses) become increasingly convoluted and niche, which I like. And yes, the spin kicks ass. I like it more than Hamon because it's so creative.

[sp]SBR is the best Jojo part to date in every aspect including art, characters, and story telling[/sp]
Anubis was visible, and later parts have Bohemian Rhapsody, Cheap Trick ([sp]Cheap Trick's ability actually relies on being seen by people[/sp]), The Fool and Earth Wind and Fire. Well with Bohemian Rhapsody, [sp]the characters created by it are made of the material they are from.[/sp] And there isn't really any stand to actually be visible. The Fool is made of sand and dust, not special sand and dust, just sand and dust. Earth Wind and Fire probably isn't an actual stand, and even if it was it was bound to Mikitaka's body (and unless he is extremely calm [sp]he couldn't seem to see Crazy Diamond as Josuke tried to punch him.[/sp]) Tim's stand is also bound to his body. I can't remember when Catch the Rainbow is actually seen. [sp]Blackmore certainly asks Lucy if he can see the mask, where she doesn't respond[/sp] but other than that I can't remember.
God damn, anubis probably had the worst fate. Imagine [sp] being skinned slowly over centuries while still being immortal. [/sp]

Honestly no worse than Kars or Part 5 [sp]Diavolo[/sp] or Part 7 [sp]Magent Magent[/sp]
Honestly no worse than Kars or Part 5 [sp]Diavolo[/sp] or Part 7 [sp]Magent Magent[/sp]
There are a lot of horrific Jojo character deaths. Part 8[sp]Yotsuyu Yagiyama[/sp]is the latest of these.
[sp]Blackmore certainly asks Lucy if he can see the mask, where she doesn't respond[/sp]
I actually forgot about that completely
I actually forgot about that completely
I think they are kinda hinting it [sp]The mask is see through, so it's open to interpretation I suppose[/sp]
Get ready for the petshop at the gates of hell, we're another episode closer to DIO's World
Get ready for the petshop at the gates of hell, we're another episode closer to DIO's World
We've got like 3 or 2 fights left including Petshop don't we?
We've got like 3 or 2 fights left including Petshop don't we?
Right now, it's[sp]Iggy Pup vs. Pet Shop Boy and his Horus Heresy. Next stop is D'arby the gamer, follow by Kenny G with his saxophone, Vanilla Ice with cream all over his body and finally, Dio and his sexy voice that can stop time.[/sp]
[sp]follow by Kenny G with his saxophone, [/sp]
I don't think the petshop fight needed two eps
I don't think the petshop fight needed two eps
Petshop is one of my favorite villains so I'm fine with it.
Hol Horse and Boingo did not need two episodes though.
Dio's World deserves only one episode.
kenny g deserves at least 7 episodes
