Buddhist valley? What the fuck was that about? I'm so glad I read the new scans where available, seeing this I start to appreciate the clarity in them.

Oh please tell me he's just as big a fan of the Duwang translations as us.
Everyone looks like they have the same face on that poster. Like the eyes and lips look identical.
the best friends talked about jojo in their most recent podcast and talked about how a stand that would make someone shit their pants would be a really strong stand
http://superbestfriendsplay.com/podcast/sbfc-103-this-must-be-the-work-of-an-enemy-stand/
skip to an hour in, the shit stand part lasts about 10 minutes
yeah i dont know what i was thinking while posting, sorry for saying dumb stuff
instead of that, have araki redrawing part 3 with his current style

star platinum you're not impressing anyone
heirophant looks fucking baller tho
The sameface creeps me the hell out as much as I love his current aesthetic on a technical level on the count of they look so damn much like me :s

Heirophant and Silver Chariot fit that artstyle because they were already thin built. But that Star Platinum just does not look right.
Honestly, I think it's the color scheme that throws him off more than the physique
While people are on the topic of Araki's art, I think it's probably strongest mid-Diamond is Unbreakable

I'm actually really into part 8's look. it goes back to some of the part 4ish expressionist stuff but done after he "found himself" stylistically.
so I just finished part 4, man the stands really got developed, I'm glad that [sp]most of the stand abilities weren't OP as fuck, it was more about the usage of specific abilities in a smart way over just punching things good[/sp]

my opinion so far:
4 > 2=3 > 1
and
Young Joseph > Josuke > Hot dad Joseph > Jotaro > old man Joseph > Jonathan
okay so are people working on the scan quality of part 5? because YIKES
Yeah, I just stopped reading that til it gets a good re-up.

i'd give it awhile before it's done, they're at most 1/3 through

Windows 10 is nice.

the only annoying part is that sometimes a chapter later on is done while a chapter inbetween is still rough

kinda like part 4 going between okay, great and coloured great

You reading on batoto? Cause that shouldn't be happening ever.
I can't find the Dame!Dame! Subs anymore, they were great.

there aren't any gaps, but batoto fucks the order up.
sometimes you have to choose the next chapter manually, specifically at the narancia/little feet fight to get the good scans when the bad scans kick in.

yeah I managed to figure that out when I saw new stands I didn't know out of nowhere

also the inevitable has happened... King Crimson, so if I'm getting this right:
[sp]his ability "erases" a period of time for everyone else, so when they're doing something within the "erased" time they're still doing it, but will have no recollection of what they're doing in that time and it will be like time just skipped, kinda like The World but they still move in the erased time, they just don't experience it, right?
now, if this is the case, does king crimson actively speed up or perceive this "erased" time as slower? because that's the only way I see him have any tactical advantage, either that or the whole "prediction" thing he brags about, which is a lie because all he can do is observe their current movement and get out of the way of it or set a trap for said movement, so not exactly prediction, just early reaction is what his whole advantage it.
so it's The World, but everyone still moves in the stopped time but only the boss experiences it... right?[/sp]

[sp]No.
You see, he also has his own ability Epitaph that DOES let him see a good few seconds into the future, which is the only way his "erasing time" ability can even be useful.
In a way, he eliminates everything "caused" during the erased time and only keeps the "effects" that happen, which makes a lot of sense with regards to his own character's motivations. Hence why he wouldn't punch anyone during erased time, or manipulate anything, as is the entire purpose of The World, since it would just get erased. Also he's the only one who remembers what happens during erased time, so it's extremely disorienting to anyone who experiences it.
Essentially, he just kind of picks and chooses events that he does and does not want to happen.[/sp]

okay, I didn't know about [sp]Epitaph[/sp] until literally 5 minutes ago when I got to the part with [sp]his split personality using it. Okay that makes sense, I get why someone would be confused especially considering how not great the translation is, but it's not "THAT" confusing[/sp] thanks man
Honestly, I could very easily be wrong, but in effect that's how it is... I think...
it makes sense at least
KC doesnt start getting confusing until the final battle where it seems to start breaking its own rules
Sometimes it's best not to think too hard about the details.
