We'll hopefully find out all of that in November's Ultra Jump. I really hope they bring back the ASB seiyuus practically every part 4 character who had one sounded amazing.
November 19th was it? What a wonderful JoJo birthday.
November 19th was it? What a wonderful JoJo birthday.
Yeah for future reference Ultra Jump almost always comes out the 19th of every month
In honor of Part 4's announcement I decided to finally start this series. I'm at episode 11 on crunchyroll, and I'm having a blast. [sp]I kiiiinda know that Lisa Lisa is Joseph's mom and he stares at her butt though, so that's gonna be...fun.[/sp]

[sp]And ridiculously gay[/sp].
Honestly I wouldn't recommend reading the part 4 manga now that we know the anime is coming.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend reading the part 4 manga now that we know the anime is coming.
Honestly I would strongly recommend reading the part 4 manga before seeing all of the butchered names. And all we know about part 4 is that it's coming. [editline]October 25th[/editline]
I plan on it to see the differences- the only thing I'm confused on is the episode order. With the original JJBA being only 20 episodes long (give or take), Stardust Crusaders looks weird with over 50- that's the series I should go after this chapter 2, right? [sp]Also, Joseph with a goddamn tommygun? Made my night. I knew it was in the game (so it'd have to appear somewhere else), but for it to be used there against a zombie was funny as hell.[/sp]
Actually, anime is mostly a 1:1 adaptation with some added stuff. You should just start with Part 4 of manga.

UPDATE: David production throws in the towl and the series will be continued in a series of feature films by Sony Animation Studios! The creator had fuckin work in the goddamn Louvre for a reason. I'm not saying anyone has to read the manga, I'm just saying you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend reading the part 4 manga now that we know the anime is coming.
You are doing yourself a disservice by not reading all of Jojo. Part 4 will probably start airing in Summer or Fall of 2016, MORE than enough time to read Jojo in its entirety on Batoto.
I mean if Part 4 sucks because of Sony I'll definitely read the manga instead, but I've always been more of an anime guy than a manga guy.

Read the goddamn manga. Please.
If you liked any part of JoJo, you'll be hooked on part 4 no problem.
read the manga if you want and watch the anime if you want don't worry about being called "that guy"
I hope they don't animate the shower scene.
why wouldnt they animate it and how many episodes are we looking at for this adaptation , I remember part 4 being around the same length or longer than SC . I'm guessing at least 50 eps for part 4

Most likely the first season will be [sp]The guitar dude and Kira, with the season finale being his fight against Josuke and Jotaro outside the dry cleaner[/sp] and the second season will be [sp]Kira post face-swap[/sp] I'm mostly looking forward to Tonio, plus [sp]KIRA KUIN - BAITU ZA DASTO[/sp] [editline]26th October 2015[/editline] [t]http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/937/487/167.jpg[/t]
I read all of the manga so I could play all star battle without being spoiled, clearly the best reason to have read it
I read all of the manga so I could play all star battle without being spoiled, clearly the best reason to have read it
I did the same only I never got around to actually buying all star battle.
read the manga if you want and watch the anime if you want don't worry about being called "that guy"
Sure, you don't have to read the manga. If you're cool with being held hostage with spoilers for several years. It's only a matter of time. Accidental forum posts, intentional spoiling, YouTube videos, the games... one day you'll slip up and find out that Johnny Joestar lost the use of his legs because he slipped on a bowl of macaroni as a child.
Being spoiled for basically everything major in part 3 greatly contributed to my reading the manga. I have not regretted it.
I was spoiled for later events by reading the Wiki. Thought I would look up something relatively simple. Bam, hardcore spoilers. Read the manga, kids.

For people using Batoto, it now requires a mod-approved account to be able to access manga. So I'll have to find somewhere else to read JoJolion since the iPad app I use don't support logging in to sites.
I just registered, and I didn't need to be mod approved
I guess they changed that, I was just going off a post on r/stardustcrusaders.
I guess they changed that, I was just going off a post on r/stardustcrusaders.
I looked at the announcment post and it didn't really say anything about mod approval only
So I just finished part 2. Fucking. SOLD. Y'all know exactly why. Once I have the time I'm going on a Stardust binge.
So I just finished part 2. Fucking. SOLD. Y'all know exactly why. Once I have the time I'm going on a Stardust binge.
48 episode marathon
48 episode marathon
marathoning stardust crusaders in a couple of sittings with a friend at the tiny home theater setup at my parents' house was a fantastic experience, it was his first time watching it and we were both just having a blast getting hyped and laughing at it would recommend
I finished Stardust lately, having had it on pause at D'arby for a month or so trying to watch upto that point with housemates. Got bored and marathoned what I had left, fuckin' loved it. Picked up Phantom Blood in hardback recently too, really pretty books and it's interesting reading the manga having seen the anime first and seeing how absurdly similar they are.
