It'd be difficult to blow the Horus Heresy out of proportion. My desktop background right now is a 13+ foot tall Emperor of all of Mankind in golden armor covered in eagles wielding a flaming sword about to kill his son whose black armor his decked out with shrunken heads and skin from human faces in a psychic battle. Also he worships the gods of an alternate dimension of pure evil. I suppose Hollywood could make them 14 feet tall or something.
Well, I stand corrected on that. Maybe they'll make the SM pauldrons a little bigger than usual.
Stormbre...... never mind, they made one and it was awful. ARTEMIS FOWL!
All of the books made by H.P. Lovecraft

And making me lose it while reading. :ughh:
Stormbre...... never mind, they made one and it was awful. ARTEMIS FOWL!
Would end up sucking like all the other recent adaptions... I just watched "The Vampires Assistant" on the movie network yesterday and it was so terrible my eyes were bleeding. I have not read the book for that but I would assume it was far better.
All of the books made by H.P. Lovecraft
Guillermo del Toro is working on an adaptation of At the Mountains of Madness, with James Cameron helping produce it. That's a good start.
Mein Kampf

Alright, let's see... The entire Pratchett catalogue, all of Douglas Adams' books, the Age of the Five series by Trudi Canavan... And the Ender series.
The entire Horus Heresy book series.
I always thought the Eisenhorn book series would be pretty damn awesome as a movie.
how is it if you've seen it, that is
I have not [editline]01:56PM[/editline] based on the blurb on the back it's actually anti-nazi, though so I don't think it's a direct adaptation of Mein Kampf [editline]01:56PM[/editline]
I always thought the Eisenhorn book series would be pretty damn awesome as a movie.
I have not read it but I hear it's good.
I have not read it but I hear it's good.
I'd recommend it, it is really well written.
And making me lose it while reading. :ughh:
That was seriously the first thing I thought too but after reading the book, what it taught me was so worth it, I didn't even mind :v:
This was an excellent book.
sdfdsg. Obviously Cheezy didn't get the joke.
The book I'd like to see as a moving picture, is SUPPOSEDLY in the works, but I won't believe it until it actually happens. Invisible Monsters. Indeed.
I completely forgot about Chuck Palahniuk. I'd like to see this:
Edge Chronicles would be pretty cool to see on the big screen. http://www.lookingglassreview.com/assets/images/The_Edge_Chronicles1.jpg Also Storm Thief. Amazing book...
The Warded Man series would be neat.

Since a Neuromancer film is apparently in the works I would love to see a film adaptation of Burning Chrome.
