The Chronicles of Amber
THIS. I complete forgot about Zelazny. We got the whole "Chronicles of Amber" set in the mail by mistake way back in the day (this is what happens when you join the Science Fiction Book Club and don't mail back the form telling them you DON'T want this months featured book, lol)
It would be one epic, mind twisting movie.

The Forgotten Soldier.
Fucking awesome. And it'd give a rare view from the Germans side.
The entire Horus Heresy book series.
This. Reading the second book at the moment.

This is something I've been awaiting for a long time. Also, keep it away from Hollywood, they'll butcher it.

and

but because of length it would probably be better as a TV series. Same goes for Gaunt's Ghosts.
Twili--- Oh wait.
Brad Pitt's production company is already working on that.

SHHH Don't mention the H word, they'll hear you ! :tinfoil:
Ender's Game is unfilmable. There aren't enough good child actors currently on Earth to make it.
[editline]03:18AM[/editline]
But, I could totally see the sequels all working.

Because the world lacks movies involving steampunk World War II stories
Ohmygod,THE RUNELORDS.THE ENTIRE EFFIN' SERIES.
I may be called names and whatever but id love to see the Adrian Mole series on film

I love his books :3:
Artemis Fowl.
I no longer want to see most of my books turned into movies, but I remember reading the Artemis Fowl series when I was younger and I think they would make good films
Ender's game was already posted so:

Chasm City would be too long to get a proper adaptation without major dumbing down.
There's already a movie for it, but they should re-make it.

that is literally the shittiest book cover I have ever seen in my entire life, looks like a game for the Nintendo 64
great book though, I want to see the movie
The book I'd like to see as a moving picture, is SUPPOSEDLY in the works, but I won't believe it until it actually happens.

Invisible Monsters. Indeed.
This, without a doubt.
The Edge Chronicles. Would make for an amazing series of movies.
I remember this series, would be a good fantasy movie. (If done right)
Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

With the right cast and director this could be a great film!
Star Wars books:
The Darth Bane Trilogy
The Thrawn Trilogy
The Han Solo Trilogy
The Lando Calrissian Trilogy
The Jedi Academy Trilogy
Darksaber
Death Star
Deathtroopers
Non-SW:
The Silmarillion
The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (which reportedly has a script ready, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Adventures_of_Kavalier_%26_Clay#Film_adaptation )
A Tale of Two Cities
Stranger in a Strange Land
It's funny because I'm pointing out book names based on Lost episodies.
Brave New World.
Commonwealth Saga.

I can already see most of it, and damn is that a great film. Especially the opening. :3:

Apparently there's already a film, but it was low key and didn't do very well.

This would also make for a great, and scary film. In fact, it's one of the few Michael Crichton books which isn't yet a film - State of Fear is the only really major one I can think of that isn't.
basically i just scrolled through and clicked agree about 50 times.

The book lacked tension imo because you always knew that the author of the 'journal' survived, still a cracking read though, and I would like to see a film based off of it.
