I cannot give this series enough praise. I just realize that in the past hour, I've probably made about ten posts all about the books.
Must be pretty decent then. I'll have to look into it.

I actually would enjoy a movie adaption of The Catcher in the Rye if it was done properly: -No big name actors. (I don't want to remember a character as the actor when I'm old) -NO changes to the story. (no making it that Holden's brother didn't die, or that they take out whole parts) -As long as it takes to get the book onto the screen -If Micheal Cera or any of his look alikes are casted as Holden. If this happens will murder the writers and director)
The Rising and City of The Dead by Brian Keene my fav zombie author
While NATO's performance is dubious since it was written for a Western audience, I've love to see the massive conventional battles fought with Cold War equipment where the US military is actually equally matched by another power. Otherwise, give us a perspective of Soviet soldiers in World War III:
1984 by George Orwell.
I have not read it but I hear it's good.
Very good. The opening of book 3 is fantastic.
The Ultramarines series by Graham McNeill Incoming Disagrees/Ultramarine hate.
Blood Angels were better.
[img_thumb]http://www.iain-banks.net/lib/UseofWeapons.jpg[/img_thumb] Would be really interesting.
Personally I would prefer Player of Games over Use of Weapons. Or even better Excession, but since the majority of that novel is dialogue between Minds it would not work out so well.

Already did that, but it's not called Hatchet, it's something stupid, like White Wold or some shit like that.

I thought there was already a movie of that.

I feel as if H.P Lovecraft deserves a real movie: It's a short book yes, but I think it has so much potential for a proper movie.
1984 by George Orwell.
Not sure if you're joking or not but they did make a movie out of it.
