i think he should worry about those wheels first
What I would do, is I'd color the Audi badge black, and the mirrors and roof, but not the hood or headlights.
Ugh... well here you go: Also made two other quick versions: [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Yes I know one mirror still is grey but it's almost out of sight so I didn't bother to fix that :v:
Guys, I'm arranging flights to JFK airport (NY) in the summer. Wanted to know, is there any way I can rent a car whilst I'm there? I'm 19 and have held my licence for over a year (Sept 2010). I know there are insurance fee's but we're planning to split the cost. Just some sedan (in auto). We're trying to get a (semi) realistic price and basically try and find someone that'll rent a car to me. Any help/recommendations guys? I'd be so appropriative. I know it's an uphill battle.
You have to be over 25 years old for pretty much any rental company. The only way you can drive a rental car is if someone over the age of 25 rents the car, and you're on the same insurance plan as them. Otherwise, you're SOL.
Have you considered projectors? If you give me the model or year of this Audi i'm sure I could find some great ones in no time at all.
Anyone know of sites that give you free car history reports? No way am I paying 35 bucks for a carfax report
Ugh... well here you go: Also made two other quick versions: [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Yes I know one mirror still is grey but it's almost out of sight so I didn't bother to fix that :v:
I think this one looks best, but I personally wouldn't paint the side mirrors.
God dammit, apparently there have been 5 different recalls for the year and model of my car. Three of them are pretty serious, I just hope that they don't apply for my car. Why is it that I start finding out about all this bad stuff 5 months after getting the car
[t]http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8567/dsc0283jw.jpg[/t] I saw this highly elusive Subaru driving down my street, so i assumed the identity of peter parker and took some pics. It is a really nice looking subaru, though. All my other pictures of it are completely out of focus(manual focus).
What camera did you get? Cause i myself just got a D3100 the other day, love it so far but haven't really gotten a chance to try it out other than at that show
I want to keep the 6MGE because it's just been rebuilt and it's kind of rare I think if you have an extra w58 though...
its not rare and it's junk. early 7m (89-) were basically 6m bottom end with a 7m head (ge or gte), from 89+ they switched to a much better crank(7m instead of 6m, actually fully counterweighed and very smooth, stronger too) and block (much more stronger, extra ribs everywhere and casting were revised) keeping the 6m and boosting it is retarded, you'll end up with BHG problem like the 7m(if you don't retorque the head bolts) but there is not a lot of aftermarket solution and studies on the 6m, plus you'll still have to find the manifolds and standalone, while on the 7mgTe , you have all the electronics and manifold you need for 400whp with few modification. also, no I don,t have a w58 because I have a turbo supra from factory-> R154, again, much much stronger than the brittle W58... Go full 7mgte with r154 or go 2jzge-T (na-t) otherwise, don't do anything to that poor car
http://treasure.craigslist.org/ctd/2936373707.html Guys help me I need guidance. This car is so fucking perfect. The red leather, black paint, 43k miles but...it's an automatic. BUT IT'S SUCH A GOOD DEAL IM TEMPTED [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Oh and to contribute my favorite engine is a dyhdy2744huovs4693 with a 563finry turbo
I would say get it, high stall torque converter, turbo it and proceed to laugh but then I'll get smashed by every 'MURICAN NO TURBO VRUUM VRUUM guy
I think turbos are fine and can do wonders on the appropriate car. That Stang's all ready got a 300hp v8 so it's good for now. But like my friends Saab 9000, the turbo makes that car.
Is Dynamat a good material for sound damping? If not can anyone recommend an alternative?
What camera did you get? I am heavily satisfied with it, especially since i only paid $100 for it and got a remote, and two 4gb cards for it. (i'm just borrowing the lens). [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] The lens is also only manual focus. It's kind of weird, you should look it up.
6M-GE? Have fun with that boat anchor. The 5M-GE was a better engine than that. I'd definitely swap a 7M-GE in there.

its not rare and it's junk. early 7m (89-) were basically 6m bottom end with a 7m head (ge or gte), from 89+ they switched to a much better crank(7m instead of 6m, actually fully counterweighed and very smooth, stronger too) and block (much more stronger, extra ribs everywhere and casting were revised) keeping the 6m and boosting it is retarded, you'll end up with BHG problem like the 7m(if you don't retorque the head bolts) but there is not a lot of aftermarket solution and studies on the 6m, plus you'll still have to find the manifolds and standalone, while on the 7mgTe , you have all the electronics and manifold you need for 400whp with few modification. also, no I don,t have a w58 because I have a turbo supra from factory-> R154, again, much much stronger than the brittle W58... I think I'll pass on the trade then, it's not really worth it.
all the #m engines are shitty. some are less shitty than other also, #m and their retarded oil system
So turns out there's a simple answer for the rattling noise my car has been making ever since I got it. The two rings on both ends of the flexible part of the muffler were loose. You guys can't imagine how relieved I am, I was expecting much worse Also anyone know if I should just take them off since they're not doing anything, or should I get them welded back in place? [editline]18th April 2012[/editline] Also washed my engine bay for the first time, looks sexy as fuck now. Will post pictures tomorrow
finally did some inspections on my Blazer. ball joints have been replaced recently (Thank god.) Alignment is off a bit Rear Wheels need new brake-pads Need a clamp on a 4x4 vacuum hose
i think he should worry about those wheels first
Im on this already I want some 17's or 18's. Audi RS6 Rims. And have both low and high beams projectors. Also Ldesu I relly love what you have been doing. But It seams my most fav of all of them are. [t]http://i.imgur.com/jPxSM.jpg[/t] [t] http://i.imgur.com/ndJiq.jpg[/t] I really like the hood black...
Is Dynamat a good material for sound damping? If not can anyone recommend an alternative?
Here we go about the sound damp. Cheap way = Peel and Stick at lows or home depo Step up = Audio Techniz http://audiotechnix.com/ To be best you can get = Alpha Damp @ http://www.secondskinaudio.com/ IMO I would use all of the above depending on how deep the pocket your digging into is. (Cheap way will have to be redone after awhile)

but VAG is shit and you should feel shit
I love coming home to new shit. -Thickest sway bars I could find for my car (Bavarian Autosport) -Short throw shift kit -Luisi genuine Italian hand-crafted steering wheel+hub (I was very impressed with Luisi, in the past I've only bought Momo wheels, but this Luisi wheel is 100% quality. Half the price of a Momo wheel and it came with a hub adapter and two horn buttons. They even threw in connectors that fit into the stock horn and airbag connectors, including a little resistor to trick the SRS system so it doesn't know the airbag is missing. Rad!) -CCFL angel eyes
25mm sways? Once I get my new engine, ill be getting 25mm front and rear.
