Only reason i flipped about the rx-7 is because moments before i started recording i was talking about how many rx-7's i wondered were abandoned and left to be crushed and melted down...then i saw it. made me a bit sad knowing if there was one dropped off just today (Which is what that area was for, vehicles that had been dropped off but not scrapped yet), how many more there were just buried in the dirt, never to see the light of day again. Or, you know, just a pile of metal dust waiting to be melted down.
Huh, you don't seem like the kind of guy who would have long hair. My image of you before seeing you has been shattered
Looks like my grandma is going to give me her '95 Thunderbird SC. Needs a head gasket though, but still pretty awesome. She's was the only owner of it and I've had so many memories in that car. Probably will end up rebuilding the entire motor since it has a lot of mileage.

What yard is that? I can't remember seeing any with that huge of a pile of metal and cars.
Wait a fucking minute
Bugatti veyron -$2,250,880
- top speed of ~220MPH
98 Grand AM -$800
-top speed of 104MPH
So basically you spend 2813 times as much for a car that only can go 2.11 times faster than my car.
Pretty shitty MPH/$ if you ask me..
copy + pasted into /o/ I see
Shit is just too important to not be discussed.
The Veyron will go 253 mph though.
The Veyron will go 253 mph though.
The price he quoted looks to be for the Super Sport, which is 267 mph.
Still shit tier mph/$

I believe you own the Bugatti just for the name/bragging rights that's really it. Since with that money you can get a car that goes faster than that.

If you're spending that much money on a car, it's probaly not your first car and probaly not your last. It's just a figurehead for your collection.
Now... if only I could own Jay Leno's Garage... Life would be perfect.

I'm pretty sure there isn't any other car faster than a Bugatti veyron.
bradley you scare the shit out of me
Why? O_o

Always had long hair. For like four years. Annoying as fuck under/over a car.
I'm pretty sure there isn't any other car faster than a Bugatti veyron.
Well, the Koenigsegg Agera R is claimed to be ~275mph, but that has not been confirmed.
I'm pretty sure there isn't any other car faster than a Bugatti veyron.
Sure there are.
Just none that are street legal and reliable and comfortable.
There is a reason it costs so much, because it does so much. If all you care about is hitting a super high top speed you can build a car with enough power and with the right aero mods to hit that kind of speed for a lot less than a Veyron. The difference will be that it will be a purpose built race car which means that it will break all the time and be difficult or impossible to drive on the street.
If you really want to push the definition of "car", one could argue that their were cars going over 400mph in the late 60s, and they didnt exactly have huge amounts of money in them.
How do you guys feel about 4th gen Trans Ams? They've got quite a bit of power, around 330-340hp from a 350 stock, they've got t tops which I've always wanted and I can finally own a GM Trans Am!
They're not very expensive and the last one rolled of the line in 2002 and its got airbags, 4 wheel disc breaks, modern-ish car so I bet I could convince my parents to let me have one. Have some examples

to be honest, for the longest time I never really liked them. They were my least favorite generation of all Firebirds but its started to grow on me
I think hellaflush is disgusting.
But thats just because Im interested in automotive performance. I guess if you want to limp around town slowly then its pretty neat.
They aren't really meant for performance, they are cars that are meant to look cool. Go through a few pages of Canibeat, if you think all those cars are disgusting then you have yet to come to respect the hard work which people put into their cars.
What yard is that? I can't remember seeing any with that huge of a pile of metal and cars.
The one off of Rio Bravo and 2nd street, down past the gas station.

and as you can see, you barely see maybe 30-40% of the yard in that video, and it still felt massive being there.

Im not going to respect something just because someone puts a lot of work into it.
If a car is made worse than it already was, it is an abomination.
I can respect making a car fast. I can respect making a car more efficient. I can respect making a car more comfortable.
What I cant respect is turning a car with marginal performance into a pretend race car, illegal in any sanctioned racing organization, with -12 degrees of camber, strectehd tires, dragging on the ground with terrible suspension geometry.
I can say the same thing of any car that is built to do nothing. I have more respect for an old beaten up civic with 200k miles on it, because at least it did something useful with its existence.
This is disgusting:

Hellaflush is a car meet put on by Fatlace.
It's also a reference to the fitment / "flush"ness of the wheel to the fender.
Most of the time it looks fine, but there are extremes. Generalizing your statement / limiting your opinion is only negating your own appearance. At least be thorough and say that you don't like ANY cars that have been lowered to the point of flushness.
I'm mostly upset about

It's built to look good to the owner, our tastes aren't the same as theirs as only I only found the BMW any decent looking in my opinion but I don't like the wheels and all of the camber either. I would never own cars like these but you have to remember that the scene is all for show and there's some which aren't really that bad.
The BMW is hellaflush, the low rider is a low rider and the Supra is a show car or whatever they call the body kitted and trailer'd "custom" cars.
Who is even saying that did all that work by themselves? You know it's completely possible that they paid a garage to do that for them right?
In my old town, we had a garage that was dedicated to bigass subwoofers, body kits, and camber adjustments. If anything, I disrespect them for ruining their cars performance. I hope they hellaspin into a pole.
I was referring mainly to the flush on the m3, it has no place there in my opinion, I believe that is a sports/racing car and not a drifter.
Terribly sorry to generalize, It's just my opinion, especially with those cars.
I didn't know what 'hellaflush' meant so I looked it up on Google images
Those poor cars
