Up to you, decent price for what looks like a clean turbobrick wagon.
I would pass, since it's not running, and a turbobrick could be had for just a little more in running shape.
Every single other Volvo for sale in my area is a sedan, all 11 of them.
Except this one...

also no tarbo.
DVD player/video file playback capable; the ones that accept USB drives or memory cards. It's the same price really. Make sure to choose the right brand and the right one with the most audio settings. Also the one where the interface is simple enough you can quickly push a couple of buttons to operate. I actually am thinking about getting a new one as well.
So, what are some good, but not $300, radio brands
Cool. they found some anthr..I mean a suspicious white powder at the nearby Portland international Airport. Hazmat's testing it right now supposedly. My grandma and my cousin just left for NY this morning from the airport. :v:
It's probably cocaine/baby powder/flour
They found another envelope at a nearby hotel. The one at the airport is in an office building, both are labeled ANTHRAX. OooooooOOOooOooooo
They must've spelled cocaine wrong :v:
Link to the story, please
uh, I'll see if it's on the news website, but It kept coming up as Breaking news on TV.
Car was misfiring badly in the rain today, took a look under the hood and the coilpack is not happy.

@Del91
Check it out for yourself. I bought my car for $1.3 and it didn't run. Fixed it cheap when we saw the problems he didn't. Its your call really.
What should I look for though? I don't think I even know anyone that's owned a Volvo. :v:
What should I look for though? I don't think I even know anyone that's owned a Volvo. :v:
Things that you should for every old car. Missing parts, frame rust, shell dents/rust, tire wear, interior damage, engine noises etc. I'm sure someone here knows a thing or two about Volvo's and can say more on my behalf. Simple things like bent frames where you can't open or close doors, hoods or trunks properly or won't latch. Mis-matched body panels
So, what are some good, but not $300, radio brands
Sony would be my favorite, but it all points to money. Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer are other brands you can consider. Again, you should weigh the functionality and price and find a middle ground
So, what are some good, but not $300, radio brands
I personally really like my Kenwood, It was $200, so not terribly priced then, and i think it is a really good radio.
IMO Spend money to get a decent head unit. Never spend the money agen.
Cheap brands go out quickly......
Once I get my car double dined Im going to get this.

Looks clean and functions great.
Aerolop, whatever you do, don't get Boss, Pyle, or Clarion. Expensive Clarions aren't terrible, but they aren't really anything to write home about.
I'll go take a look at it this weekend. It's not too far away too.

Hi...
The 81-85 used a very tricky fuel injection system unlike the 86+ cars.
K jet systems from that model are very well known to be temperamental.
I'll go take a look at it this weekend. It's not too far away too.
Look for rust behind the rear wheels, that is the most likely spot where it would be.
Easy/Expensive fix?
[editline]9th May 2012[/editline]
The ad says the Injectors have been cleaned.
Easy/Expensive fix?
Well unless you want to switch fuel injection system, I doubt it. Though Turbobricks forums could probably pinpoint the problem or give you some ideas to try to fix it.

RPM x100 always looked funny to me. No car in NA have it in x100, always in x1000

In NA? You mean North America? Or Naturally Aspirated? I'm confused.
I've seen so many cars with RPM x 100.
My father's '98 Passat TDI says liter/hour x 100
Pretty weird stuff
Mustang ii and my comanche are both x100

Even my friend's Golf has RPM x 100 on the gauge. I've seen a lot of RPM x100 gauges.
Muscle cars had them too.
and my friend thought my comanche was fast as fuck because he saw me go from 10-45 fast as fuck
later i explained that was the tachometer and i was going 0-15 in first gear

I wish I could sell my 'vette already so I can pick up a cool project like this and still have some cash.
Why do you want to sell the corvette?
Why do you want to sell the corvette?
I just need some spare cash to get other things going, and I want to pick up a slightly cheaper project that need more time than money put into it.
I love the Corvette but I just can't keep it right now.
