I really want to buy a minivan, tear the seats out and put a couch or waterbed in that motherfucker.
Not a minivan... One of those big vans, or better yet, a station wagon. Clarkson put a waterbed in the back of a volvo SW in the teenage car challange.
Back in 9th grade me and my friends wanted to buy like an 80s cheap work van and do the interior with shag carpet, speakers and like lazy boys and paint on the outside a picture of a wizard and call it the Metal Machine That dream is still here
Everyone but bradley Is vtec any good? Keep seeing a bunch of Civics on CL with vtec and I'm wondering if I should even bother, but having something like that with good gas mileage and a little extra oomph never hurts
Alright, so I've been addicted to Project CARS. Basically its the best racing game to ever be made so far, it will triumph over Gran Turismo. And since you can actually give track data to developers, it influences them to want and make that track for the game. Right now, I'm collecting data for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, so that it can be accurately represented in the game. And since they have both current and historic tracks, I am going to be painstakingly mapping what it is now, for the new data. And then gather old race info on Pikes Peak back in 1985, when the Audi Quattro broke the world record. Which may also put the car in the game. When my car is complete, I am going to be making multiple videos up and down while calculating speed and milage between turns and stuff like that. I will also be pulling over a lot to measure track widths and things like that in the turns. Will be a fun summer for sure. [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] Gotta pageking it with some bullshit.
didn't they already ditch rally

just saw a civic on CL they were like "yeah its a salvage title... SOHC engine, blah blah blah" Sounds good and all... the picture of the engine says DOHC HMMMMMMM [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] hello gorgeous
I've been feeling this for the past 2-3 months, any ways I can determine if it's off? Maybe with a gps?
GPS is accurate enough, give it a shot.

(VTEC engines have a higher range power band and always get at least a few MPG worse than the non-VTEC Civics) But, you know, whatever. You don't want the resident AA Honda Guy's opinion

My opinion on VTEC for performance is that it's retarded. My opinion on VTEC for fuel economy is that it's useless. ...Unless you get something with i-VTEC or VTEC-E. They get crazy mileage for the output they have.
well what is your opinion on that RX-7 I posted it's pretty gorgeous but ofc I want gas mileage too :v:
well what is your opinion on that RX-7 I posted it's pretty gorgeous but ofc I want gas mileage too :v:
Even resident RX-7 Guy Justin will say not to get an RX-7 if you want good gas mileage.
Even resident RX-7 Guy Justin will say not to get an RX-7 if you want good gas mileage.
yeah hence why I mentioned gas mileage sports car and gas mileage are not things that go together
yeah hence why I mentioned gas mileage sports car and gas mileage are not things that go together
They can, its rotary and gas mileage that don't go together.
They can, its rotary and gas mileage that don't go together.
i meant that as in "you don't buy a sports car for gas mileage"
yeah hence why I mentioned gas mileage sports car and gas mileage are not things that go together
Thats not true, Camaro SS's get around 20 mpg, which is damn good for such a big engine.
Thats not true, Camaro SS's get around 20 mpg, which is damn good for such a big engine.
refer to pageking
well what is your opinion on that RX-7 I posted it's pretty gorgeous but ofc I want gas mileage too :v:
I'd say get it. If I had the money I would have gotten an RX7 instead of a 240SX. Simply for the fact that it's a unique car that I rarely see here in California Would have amazing potential later on if you decide to turbo. But now that I have the 240, I'm not complaining
Well, I like the looks of the car, but I also want something with -Great gas mileage -Good in the snow It's my understanding that for most sports cars this is not the case
get an suv or something then. or stick with your little s-10 blazer, those vortec v6's sip gas.
I'm not areolop, I don't have a blazer I don't have a car at all
I'm not areolop, I don't have a blazer I don't have a car at all
:v:
sports car
I lol'd hard
I lol'd hard
god dammit bradley i don't need your shit >:c
Well, I like the looks of the car, but I also want something with -Great gas mileage -Good in the snow It's my understanding that for most sports cars this is not the case
I don't know, get an AWD Subby? There's lots of wagons for cheap if you can deal with those. Maybe, something like this? http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2949387914.html Not a lot of lan evos for cheap there. But if I were you, I'd just stick to the right car. Would you really want to drive with excessive snow ?
