They won't cheat/scam you if that's why you're concerned. I got my Altima through them, 7 months and going with no problems
Worth trying then?
Worth trying then?
Yeah at least take a look at it. I'm sure they'll drop it a couple hundred at least, more if you're persistent. And plus their shop specializes in german cars, so if anything you can use them for repairs and such

How about an RX7 with a Corvette V8 inside and automatic transmission?

I swear you told me to buy a car stock and mod it myself :v:
Not bad looking though, the mileage kinda puts me off

Well yeah, but if you get a stock RX7.....you know what nvm

Eh, that'd be really nice but I don't think my budget allows that :v:

If 4-bolt 350s are apparently "Corvette Motors" I have three Corvette motors laying in my shop. That's likely not a 'vette block, unless they've changed EVERYTHING over on it (pistons, heads, etc.) as the early 80s they have Crossfire injection, and the intake bolt patterns are different, making it technically impossible to bolt a carb intake on a fuel injected small block without changing the heads. And if you change heads, you have to match pistons so you have the correct dips.
I do actually have a corvette motor in my shop, though. It's a Goodwrench crate motor built for an early 80s vette, it's a two bolt main with the L83 pistons and heads, but it had a TBI intake on it (the car was changed from crossfire to TBI). The previous owner of the engine spun bearings 7 and 8, and destroyed the crankshaft. I have another crank for it but it's gotten pretty rusty in #1 so I don't know if I'll keep it and rebuild it or toss it in the scrap.
Justin, I'm just kidding. Like I said previously, I was going to pick up a rotary but I couldn't afford it.
Good info Bradley
Just drove past the Norwegian "Pimp My Ride"-crew. They all stopped talking to each other, turned around and gazed at my Beetle as I passed. That was pretty fun :v:

Reminds me of an old joke I heard:
Ohio has four seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction.
This looks fun

So I think it's time to sell my bimmer. I've finally garnered enough credit to qualify for a loan with a reasonable interest rate, so I'm looking around at what I might like to buy. Kinda have my sights set on a 350z, but an s2k or an STI could be loads of fun too.
All good options.
All good options.
I've read nothing but good things about the 350z, and I can pick one up with low miles for around $8-12k, and it'd make a pretty reliable daily driver. Most have factory 100k warranties, so a nice z with 60k on the clock for $10k doesn't sound bad to me.

I still like the NM seasons better, Hot, Really hot, Bugs and really hot, and hot with bugs and construction on the worst of the piss poor roads.
Seasons? We don't have seasons in Colorado, the weather does whatever whenever it wants to

get an s2k, then even rednecks like me will shed a tear of jelly when they see you in traffic

Sure, 350z are great. If I had the cash, I would swap the motor to my 240sx. S2000 is great too, always rare
I wouldn't put a VQ series in the 240, it's destined for 6 cylinders in a straight line if anything.
Speaking of which, that hella nice RB25DET is still for sell here, not the one without manifolds, this one's a complete swap, everything there, including tranny. Mmmm.

It's a really tough decision, I've driven an AP2 s2k and I wasn't as impressed as I'd like to be. They're definitely not very fast, I could walk one in my 328 with a little effort. Still, there's nothing quite like a 9k rpm redline with test pipes screaming.
s2000's aren't about being fast, it's about feeling like you're driving a big go-kart
dat steering ratio

I have heard no truer words.
Was 90 degrees yesterday. Today it's 70-something and rainy.
I'm starting to think about getting my hood repainted since there are lots of tiny little chips that make it look dirty all the time. I'm wondering about the prices and if it's even worth it. I've heard that Maaco is cheap but they do a sub-par job. I'll post a picture in a bit.

It's one of the only legal options for lotsa power for a swap here in CA and the USA. It's Nissan too, no way I'm placing an LS in there. I mean, would love an SR or an RB but good luck if I get pulled over (and I sure will).

Maaco has had a reputation for doing cruddy body work. Dripping paint and all. Ask around first before you regret it

If I wanted that I'd just get a Miata though. I wish I could find a Mazdaspeed miata for less than 15k.
COOL
Slid into a curb while avoiding some fucking cunt who tried to merge into my lane.. from a side street.
Nothing is broken on the jeep luckily.... for her.
Passed her and pulled into a church parking lot to check for damage
she pulls in as im getting out of my truck
she runs into the chruch fast as fuck
I somehow refrain from putting my fucking tireiron through her windows.

The two things I hate most about bad drivers:
-Pulling out/merging in front of someone going twice your speed. I'm sorry, if I have to brake, you're doing it wrong.
-Not merging going freeway speed.
