That car would look actually pretty great if it had the stock tail lights, or just slightly darker ones.
Hmm, that's not entirely reassuring
I will contact the dude and get more info though
ABS isn't an absolute necessity. You just have to be aware you don't have it, so you don't lock them up. ABS does help though. My car from 2004 doesn't have it, never did.

I'm not worried about ABS, I've driven cars without it before
It was Cubeman's tranny anecdote I didn't like
Just took the aged 240sx for a spin around the hood. I drove it around on 2-3rd gear too scared to go any faster with cars around. Then I drove it to Shell and filled up with highest octane.
Scared the crap out of me. The clutch is really sensitive and my car shits itself the moment you let go an inch. Suspension reminiscent of arthritis

Cant you just rig a ABS pump & controller from a similar model, assuming you install all the other parts of the complete ABS system? (Speed sensors & Valves mostly)

Yep its an auto, We still have it after replacing the tranny. It blew out around 93 or 94k miles. Literally just driving and suddenly CLUNK and really bad shifting for the rest of the ride home. Is it in every accord from 98-02 it can't be confirmed. The fact of the matter that all the people and reports I've read on it that the milage generally starts at 70k+ And a few cases before hand. It's like said before hit and miss. Can get a good one or a bad one.
I know a temp fix for the issue before it gets even worse is top the tranny fluid off and apparently it it makes it better after a bit of driving but it'll still be noticeable.
Edit:
It's not even an issue that people who had it happened know about, All mechanics or people I talked to about the car are like "tranny issue lol". Going to girlfriends house a guy I haven't seen in a while asked me where the accord was and I told him at home. I drive the prix now after that tranny replacement. He said "yeah it happens"

...
Yeah. :v:
So theres been robberys in the neighborhood latley, just spent an hour stashing/removing things from my jeep, locked the headunits faceplate in the glovebox, set up a nice tripwire in my f250's tent, along with some metal rakes in a "homer simpson" style.
The idea being they go in through the back of the tent, trip and bust their jaw on my steel bumper, then while they fumble around they get smashed in the face by a rake handle in the dark.
Also my baseball bat is at the ready.
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
Id have to say, i have no problem chasing some punkass through the streets of my town at 1am in my pajamas if it comes down to it, all the while calling my friend up to get his truck and some bats.
That's kinda how i felt when my car got shot up. I still fear for if i ever find out who did it. Which is probably why i never will but hey.
lucky for the criminal scum of NJ i can only shoot them if they are in my house "threatening me"
See, in rural NM, if they're on your land, and are an active threat, fair game.
florida has "your home is your castle"
we have the best gun laws
But does Florida allow open carry, everywhere that allows weapons?
But does Florida allow open carry, everywhere that allows weapons?
don't a big handful of states allow open carry? it's just certain guns and method of concealment need permits
Is yours an auto or a stick, CubeMan? And is the problem for EVERY 98-02 Accord?
Do you prefer an auto over a manual?
Texas. Nothing else needed to say. You can carry a concealed handgun in your vehicle and on you. Without the need of a handgun permit.
To have one in the open you need a permit.
Smith and Wesson M&P Shield .40 in center console if shit hits the fan.
i think certain counties allow open carry. remember a lot of florida is redneck farmland

I wouldn't mind getting myself one, to keep in my car. A gun, that is. Could come in handy; My mother was almost car jacked at a stop light a while back, and my dad has had multiple instances of people approaching his truck with knives drawn. He, however, already has one as well as a permit, a simple flash has kept them away so far. I've never personally had anything happen but I'd rather not have to experience it if i don't need to.

This is one of the only reasons I like living in Norway. Stuff like this never happens. Not even the police carry guns here
On topic, I would like a firearm. Growing up in a third world country, stuff like this is far too common. You can not depend on the police force at all, even at some instances you are defending yourself from the police.
Wouldn't mind a no-stock pump Mossberg to just leave in the car. In California, I believe you can keep a shotgun in the car as long as you don't conceal it and leave it loaded. I can just put a shell clip on the side.
Home defense would have to be something similar. If not, a semi-automatic AK47 so I can shoot through walls + doors if I have to. Living in the USA should not change your perspective of danger and everyday safety

I know the V6 has a lot of power and is respectable now, but if you're going to pussy out with a muscle car missing two cylinders and then get it in floppy wet dick automatic too, please, just... don't.
There's a reason nobody likes Mustangs. Because kiddies get them in 6cyl/auto and think they are the shit, has been the same story since the 70s.
Yes, V6 is fast, yadda yadda. Again. It's not the V6 killing it. It's that slushbox, pussy-out, tragic, watery fart of a transmission that is behind it. If you're getting a Mustang to enjoy it, you need one of two things, or both: Manual transmission, V8. If you're getting it for a commuter, don't. Buy something else.
The Mustang is a car for enjoyment. So don't buy a girl's V6/Auto model and get a real one, kapeesh?
oh ok I'll just tell my parents that. I'm sure they'll understand
Oh wait, they're giving me a lot of money for a nice car and they said they'd rather me not have a V8, while I may disagree I respect what they have to say. I like the looks of the new mustangs, the interior with the premium package is phenomenal. It's comfy, 305 hp, 0-60 in 5.6 or lower if you get the 3:31 gears and 32 mpg. I want an automatic because I don't even know how to drive stick and I'd rather have an auto for simplicity and once again, I deliver pizzas and plan to in college as well.
I still don't know exactly what's up, I'd obvs rather a gt but my parents like the v6 and so do I. It's just all better built. There's still a chance of a gt but I'd be very appreciative either of what I get
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
I will have my muscle car, it just all depends on when

Manual isn't too hard man. I have never ever driven a manual transmission until this afternoon and I already got it somewhat. It's not even difficult to shift to 1st and then to neutral and stop.
Imo buying a Mustang for the name and notoriety isn't the way to do it. You gotta know why you want a 'Stang like Bradley says. But I mean, its your choice and I respect that
I'm not buying it for its name and notoriety. If I wanted that, I would want the Challenger for that but I want the 2011 Mustang because it's literally the best performer of the pony cars. I don't even like Ford, I prefer GM and Chevy but Ford has done such a great job with the Mustang it's easily the best of the bunch. Look up videos and reviews, its with backed data.
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
And yeah, I don't wanna get into the auto vs manual thing
