And yeah, I don't wanna get into the auto vs manual thing
It's fine, just user preference.
Only giving perspective
I'm not saying automatic isn't better than manual, but getting an automatic Mustang is pussing out, imo.
I didn't say get a GT, I didn't say get a V8, I'm saying you need ONE of TWO things to be able to fully enjoy a 'stang: A V8 engine, or a manual transmission.
You don't have to "get into the auto vs manual thing", automatics are great for some cars, and manuals are great, nigh, perfect for others. The Mustang is one of the latter.
Exactly! That's all it is, preference. A lot of people can't understand that

Sorry guys!!!!
I don't get the auto vs manual shit.
When I drove my Jeep I enjoyed it just as much as driving any of my other cars
Personally I like the automatic with paddle shift combo.
I forgot to mention earlier: I saw the Volvo I had before today :v:
Kinda weird seeing your former car randomly in the city
Personally I like the automatic with paddle shift combo.
Flappy paddles are considered manuals.
I really want a car with Citroen's EGS (They call it a "Semi-Automatic") box in it, you can switch between fully automatic and paddle-shift. Even when it is in automatic mode you can tap the paddle to force a gear change. Basically takes away the one thing I hate about automatics, incorrect gear selection.
I always yell at my moms car for not downshifting.
don't most cars with double clutch have a option for paddle shift now
So then the dodge challenger automatic is really manual cause you get the shifter that you can knock left or right to go up or down or you can get auto with flappy paddle
I always yell at my moms car for not downshifting.
My girlfriend's Corolla poops itself trying to go up a steep hill. So there's a downshift gear and it's the 2nd gear. Wow
I can see why people prefer manuals. I've had a few times where my mom's car (1999 4Runner LTD) would be like "lol imma sit at the top RPM of this gear while you try to get above 40" whereas if I was just in a manual I could be like "bitch try me" and do that thing in need for speed where obviously if you shift at the right time you go faster
Alright, I'm serious when I say I think this is the one car I've REALLY wanted to go out and see.

I contacted the fellow already, it was a grandma car. It's an auto, which I prefer, and while I don't know a lot about what's under the hood, it's not the ugliest car I've seen.
[editline]Wow[/editline]
Wow, no automerge??
i think certain counties allow open carry. remember a lot of florida is redneck farmland
Cant you just rig a ABS pump & controller from a similar model, assuming you install all the other parts of the complete ABS system? (Speed sensors & Valves mostly)
I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a job, but i don't need it. I don't have money for it though, and if i was upgrading my brakes in any way, i would do an EP3 rear disc conversion (drums ftl).
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
and flappy paddles isn't really like manual, unless it's in a super car/really good.

I probably wouldn't use it beyond "WOW I HAVE A SUNROOF"
How about these
Crown vic that looks to be amazing

I worry about getting a retired police car because people will probably fuck with the car.
Monte Carlo isn't too bad, a bit high on the miles for my taste but looks decent enough.
I thought Pontiacs were shitty? I think my family's cars have left me with a sour disposition towards American cars, but I thought Pontiacs were among the lower tier. Though the FWD on that would be really nice for winter...
They are "kinda". Like, they seemed to use a bit more plastic in their interiors than the other platform models.
They are "kinda". Like, they seemed to use a bit more plastic in their interiors than the other platform models.
That's what I thought.
I really dig the interiors on Preludes though, that's why that guy's sitting at the top of my list.
Seems according to NADA, even if the car I'm looking at is the model with VTEC, it's a tad overpriced.
Though the FWD on that would be really nice for winter...
fwd is boring as shit in the winter
fwd is boring as shit in the winter
boring? yes
preferable? yes
i know RWDs can fare as well in the snow but I live in colorado, great winter driving is a must for a car.
FWD is much safer in the winter, though. RWD is a recipe for disaster.
Anyways, have fun with that ugly, overpriced, overweight, gas-drinking hulk. I'm almost positive it's not a VTEC model as well.
Definitely wouldn't be my first choice of Hondas. Tons of other, better looking examples, that get better than the 21 MPG combined that the heavy Prelude automatic is rated for.

I will agree with overpriced though. NADA nets it at 3k

With most automatic cars when you take your foot off the gas peddle it downshifts. :)

That hatch is a fucking dream, it's really worth it. Try and like hatches, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of people like them, especially that one.
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
also, that car has less miles than my honda, which is 10 years newer.
That Civic would be a beauty with a pair of better looking rims
