There should be two pins... Do one at a time. The one will hold it up but don't let it lean on it too long or it might bend the hinge. You'll be fine though.
PINS. NOT. BOLTS. SABJLKHFBASFAGB.

Mightymax's idea is good too. It's not needed entirely but can help a lot with holding it up in place by yourself.

Im not replacing both, just one that has the door spring attached to it since it sheered the 'pin'.
I figure now that we're talking about doors, it's a good time to ask.
One of the bolts or rods or whatever it is that supports my sister's car door is cracked, is there any easy way to repair it or should we just wait until it breaks to replace it?
If it breaks while you are out, Do you loose your door and can't use the car? If yes replace now, If it can break and your door is still usable then i guess you can get away with it and wait till it breaks. If you have the cash laying around to fix it and time if your doing it yourself theres no reason not to do it and get it over with.
God, I just feel like I am getting into deep shit with this, the mechanic said i'll need every nut and bolt to get this job done, which means I can't forget anything.
Already I need bolts for the manifold / turbo and turbo / downpipe, and being stupid, I forgot to ask for the wastegate actuator, which was supposed to be on the turbo.
Even worse, My deadline is July 1st to get it completed. The rebuild will be 3 weeks, so gathering parts and getting them shipped is very hectic.
I went out and test drove that Prelude about 30 minutes ago.
No rattles, no knocks, interior clean as a whistle. Exterior had some... defects, but nothing that isn't normal with an older car like that. Engine looked clean but still want to get it into a mechanic, and it ran fine, brakes were fine and shifted fine.
I actually really enjoyed driving it as well. I was comfortable with it for the whole 15 minutes. Carfax also came back clean.
The H23 is generally known as the worst motor Honda ever produced, burning lots and lots of oil seems to be a trait of them from what I have always seen. My buddy had a 94 or something and since it had recently been rebuilt by the previous owner the only complaints he had was that the automatic transmission sucked.
He slid it into a guardrail when it was wet though, they're a little heavy I suppose. Few months previous to that he had gotten it repainted and everything, it was really clean.
Good thing it's the S. just has the F22.
Ah, those are pretty reliable I would guess since I see all of the accords with them everywhere.
I'm intrigued also bradley, everyone has always told me the H23 is terrible and I've only seen a couple which didn't pour blue smoke since they were really low miles or rebuilt and had been taken care of very well.

My mother just called me...her car died on the ferry on the way back from the beach. She has to leave it in New Jersey until they fix it. It appears to be the starter motor...

Yep.
are any of the engines good? that'd be neat
One had spun a bearing, one was overheated badly and blew the head gaskets, one was frozen and cracked the block.
Enough there to make two engines, but one set of heads I'm trading for some knockaround wheels tonight and the rest of it I could give a shit about.
