You'll need to do emissions if you haven't already. And be prepared to pay a shitload for taxes, luckily it's a one time thing only
Seller had emissions done yesterday, so that's taken care of. I'm prepared to pay a fair bit upfront.

Never again. Too much play which loosened the main bolt, no thank you. Threw it in the recycle bin
Get a used momo off of ebay.
Or I have an almost new ebay steering wheel I can sell to you.

One you get the legal paper aside, keep in mind the maintenance. Air intake filter, cabin filter, belts, oil, coolant, transmission/diff oil, sparkplugs/wiring, battery/cables, new hoses and fuel/oil filters some chassis and frame bushings

Lol, after spending an hour in the hot sun tinkering with that wheel just for it be nil, never again lol. I just need to save up for the actual real thing. I really like that dish design
Got some oversteer driving in the rain yesterday, was going round a bend and suddenly the back starts slipping out, so I counter steered which brought it back under my control. Oh man it was an awesome feeling, had two friends in the car that said it was pretty awesome. Won't let it happen again though, it was scary as shit.

yeah I know this, but antifreeze protects against rust and it should be good enough to make it not rust, but you might be right, I never filled distilled water in so there might be a difference.
[editline]1st June 2012[/editline]
this is probably something bradley would know.
I've always run tap water in my Honda engines. In a full aluminum engine I never have any problem, and the water has always come out crystal clear when I drain it again.
In an iron block engine, I always runa t least 1/4 antifreeze. Contrary to popular belief, 1/2 and 1/2 isn't the smallest mix you can run and be safe. In systems with very small capacity (cars that run half radiators or just don't take that much water), anything between 1/4 antifreeze to 1/2 antifreeze is perfectly fine.
In the warmer months when it never drops below 32 F, I run straight tap water in my Honda. Antifreeze, being oil-based, retains heat just slightly more than water. It's not a noticeable difference in cooling but it makes me feel better.
In an engine with a cast iron block or head, or both, I would never run straight water. For warmer months, I'd run 1/4 antifreeze and 3/4 tap water, and for winter I'd flush it again and run 1/2 and 1/2. The 1/4 and 3/4 wouldn't freeze, it's just a safety thing really, because 1/4 antifreez to 3/4 water is about the threshold for how thin the solution can be. In colder areas, don't run thinner than 1/3 to 2/3 or so.
tl;dr:
-1/2 antifreeze and 1/2 water is more than enough antifreeze in the system
-Tap water doesn't do anything harmful compared to distilled water
-Hard water (from lake, river, creek, rainwater etc.) WILL do damage.

the diarrhea looking stuff
Got my plates. Filled it up. May or may not have hit a curb accidentally, but it may or may not have been light. Also got food.
Today is good day.
[editline]1st June 2012[/editline]
Also, holy shit the DMV is understaffed
The DMV that does plates closest to me was a 20 minute drive, one way. Took my mom's car there for obvious reasons, I spent at least 3 hours waiting. Never again.
There's a DMV a five minute drive from my house, not many people know about it and if you get there on a tuesday or wednesday morning you'll only have to wait 10-15 minutes max
It's on 72nd and Colorado, if you ever decide to go there (not sure how long it'll take to get there from Aurora, probably about 20-30 minutes away)
My dad got a couple of old trucks for super cheap
This is the 1960 C10, frame is rotted, body is rotted, it became the parts truck. It had a '64 chevelle console in it, and that might get used in my El Camino since I'd like to convert it to a floor shift or possibly manual. Also had a '69 350 out of a C10 and a 400 turbo short tail in it, ran and drove, so that got pulled:

And cleaned up, and is the new drivetrain for Mike's 1991 C10:

The other truck was a pretty clean 1963 C10 longbed:

It ran but wouldn't get gas from the tank. We pulled the line loose at both ends and blasted it with high air pressure, and cleared it, then pulled the sending unit from the gas tank and cleaned it out, was very rusty:

It has the original inline 6 and a 4 speed behing that:

Very smooth running motor once we got it running. The steering is worn out on it, it floats all over the road, but it's a cool truck nonetheless.
This was all yesterday but I just got to uploading pics.

I went to the one on Alameda and Chambers. Apparently there was one on Arapahoe road which is closer to me, but whatever.
People talking on their phones is more deadly then DUI it seems.
Saw a lady almost kill three construction workers today because she was texting. Seriously, fuck off.
texting is billion times worse than talking
I've only used my phone a few times, and that was with a phone call, on speaker, with my phone in the cup holder. I absolutely can not feel comfortable texting and driving at the same time. Way too distracting. Anyone who does it is retarded.
I used to text and drive when I had a cheap phone, because I could do it without looking, it was easy. But that was still only at red lights or stop signs.
Now, I have my Optimus V... touch screen, so it's impossible to text and pay attention to ANYTHING else. So it stays in my pocket until I get somewhere.
I hate when people message/call me when I'm driving. Pisses me off sooooo much.
Carefully texting and driving is hard as hell, i've only done one-word replies and even then I would type one letter at a type. Calling and driving is much easier, and much safer
I can't wait to put Siri on my iPhone 4, that way I can at least talk a text message. Every time I send a call when I'm in the car I use the voice controls, I really don't like looking away from the road.

One of these but in carbon fiber would blend in nicely with the panda paint job, dare say I.
However I cant find one.... :(
Not sure if it'd be a bit too rice, may not happen after all.
bradley you're the honda expert
when should I be concerned with timing belt replacement on an F22?

i think its every 60k miles, but i'm not completely sure. check the teeth for wear just in case.
I text and drive a lot, probably shouldn't but oh well
I posted it in the photos thread but since I'm so happy that it's back on the road (again), Imma post it here too. Don't hate me D:

Every 60-90k
Every 90k won't kill you, but it's pushing it. If it's not driven hard it's no problem though.

So if I'm at 99000 miles, should I be prioritizing getting it looked at? There's a decent chance it was replaced already.
My timing belt, and the other one (excuse my ignorance) was replaced shortly before i got the car, so i have nothing to worry about for a long time.
Is the timing belt cover at least easily accessible, so I can take it off and make sure it's in good condition?

You have the car and you're too lazy to go and look for yourself?
For shame.

It's 10:20 at night, I'm not about to go out and look at the timing belt?
There's, like, plenty of time to look at it, I have no idea what you're freaking out about.
