I can't say to be honest, your car is probally a 14.00 second car stock, so probably a 13.5 or so on street tires.
At the risk of diving off topic for a moment, in that trip to the junkyard i found the missing link for the rear speakers. I now have a REAL speaker setup, and this fucker bumps pretty damn good for just being 4" speakers all around. Sadly the car didn't have the 6" option in it. Car is coming together real nice :3
All i need now is a paint job and a few extra goodies and I'm all fucking set. Aside from, you know, a rebuild. But hey, one step at a time i suppose.
ive got the pirelli p zeros on this thing which are super nice so id say i got nice street tires. a low 13 second 1/4 miles would be awesome and if i got into the 12 second range id be so happy
and dude justin why havent you done a engine swap. fuck that rotary, drop in a chevy 502
On topic of Mazda and Chevy. My friend is "wanting" to buy a Older RX-7 with a Chevy 350 (create) engine?
It sounds like a bag of fun to me!
cant go wrong with chevy
[sp]i may have a ford but i still love gm[/sp]
Keep the mazda the way it is, if it already has a 350 then meh.

Holy fuck, do it. That'd be fun as fuck.
Winning combo is Chrysler engine, Chevy trans, and ford rear end. My dad runs it and so do all the big guys in his class.
Also, can one of you computer wizzy guys do your best to put my build sheet together. One of the past owners took it out and stuffed it in the glove compartment and it withered away. Would have preffered if he left it in the seat so I could find it.
http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u423/Lawblind/IMG_0001.jpg 2.3mb image, beware
Also, does anyone know someone with the 30 day pass or whatever for something like autocheck or carfax?
I was a little worried about my car situation for school in the fall, though my dad says he's looking to buy a older, cheap SUV to drive to camp (Long, bumpy, poorly maintained road) and to load up with junk. Since most of the time he's going to be driving his 2004 Audi A4 to work, I'll have the other vehicle to drive to school. I'd still like to drive the corolla that my brother and I share, since I prefer sedans. It's going to be a lot better than taking the bus until I can afford to buy my own car and insurance...
Are there any models/brands to look for that are inexpensive, but reliable? Nothing too big, though it needs a trailer hitch.
Volvo
No do not go 4.10 on an auto. He'll 373's on a 5.0 GT 6 speed were annoying. The gears are too short and auto would be even worse

try a toyota 4runner
i really love my mustang. it can take corners like a fucking champ and the pirellis are great and they stick so well. ive fishtailed a few times but its always fun. its pretty fucking quick and i beat my friends 2011 challenger v6 in a drag race (i mean his car is like 600 pounds heavier or more but still)
its really luxurious too, the black leather with white stitching and silver accents all over look fantastic. the sirius is great, ambient lighting, ford sync is cool as fuck and i love talking to my car. even shit like AC is still impressing me
oh and hellstrike, i'd say 0-60 in 5.6 seconds is pretty damn quick

plus im getting a bama 93 tune as well as maybe putting in 3:73 gears in
You got me, I thought it was an 05-10. Yeah I wouldn't mind a 2011+ v6 either. did your parent's make you get auto or was that your choice?
also how is it only a couple tenths faster than mine even though it has almost 100 more horsepower?
what's the weight difference between 95 and 2011 mustangs?

i'd buy it.
offtopic: (but for some reason I like offroad trucks, they would be a great survival vehicle).
Feels like my car loves to troll me to no end. Drove all over town today, ripping everything up. No overheating no issues, nothing. Dodging bad drivers trying to wreck me.
All was fine and dandy I thought. Parked it in my garage and shut the car off. All of a sudden I hear a pop and a nice fizz. Looked under the car only to see lots of coolant coming from somewhere near the block. It looks like an old plug or hose finally gave out and it just threw up all the coolant.
Great, something more to worry about. I should just make a list of things that are still working on the old engine lol. From what I can tell though, that hose is pennies cheap to fix. ($5).
so i painted my steelies earlier just because they looked nasty with the rust/black color combination and I really don't know what to think of it, i'm going to just keep them for my winter wheels but i have to run them until i get enough money for slips/p1's.
i still have alot of things i want to do to make the car perfect, but that's due in time. i'm trying my to not go into the "jdm as fuk" trend, but white steelies don't really help :v:, anyway here's a picture:

Any one knows what that is? All I know is it had a Diesel logo on the back.
Also update on windshield. I'm going to get it replaced and my roof stripped to metal and repainted to a matt black or a semi gloss. (Rust got near the lip of the windshield and I fell better about removeing a tiny bit of rust on a almost rust free car.)
And if they let me I will take the windshield home with me, run some test's on it for trying to remove scratches and shit.
rabbit pickup is what I've heard it called.

The auto was my choice because manual seemed like a pain
I think the weight of the 2011 is around 3600

You can see a few of them drive around base, from what I heard they are neat little trucks. They were never popular in the states, in fact I think they were only imported a few years.
My brother had a half-broken one which he got for ridiculously cheap. That rattlecan black. Those rims. Oh god. The last owner really ruined the car.

Never got to drive it, didn't have my license back then. :(

I think that looks pretty good.
just failed my first test woooooooooo
I failed my first written test as well, there were some really dumb questions on it. Second one I aced
Good drivers always fail there road test, They assume the test is asking logically the right thing to do over what DMV's tell you to do.
"EVERYONE IS GOING 80MPH ON THE HIGHWAY WHAT SPEED SHOULD YOU GO"
