yeah I was lucky with my road test it was 6 hours of driving with the instructor in 3 2-hour intervals, and so long as you improved each time they would pass you no problem
Here our road test is about 5 minutes long regular driving in straight line left and right turn While this^ he sees how fast your going how your breaking is and if you stay on the right side of unyellowed line roads After Three point turn Finally Then parking is different for each instructor, Some will make you do all the forms of parking such as just pulling in, parrel park and backwards pulling in. My instructor just made me parallel park and regular driving and went back gave me a pass. The first time i took my road test I failed by like 4 points cause i didn't stay on my side on an unyellowed two way local street even though if two cars wanted to pass each other on it someone would have to move into the parking section of the street (Yonkers all our unyellowed two ways are like this, it pisses me off espically when it's a super inclined hill and someones coming down after they already see you going up.)
I think I need some bro-love regarding my swap that is so fucking hard to do. Everytime I find a part I need or I do something regarding the 1jz, I realise I'm missing 2 other things. ARRRGGG
Did anyone take a swing a assembling my build sheet, it would be appreciated.
my face when my car stereo shorts out and starts smoking i guess it just couldn't handle my russian rap :v:

Found out my coolant/overheating issue was a hole in an old rotted hose. Air was seeping into the system, making the car overheat. The hose shouldn't cost me more than $5 but it will be a PITA to do considering its under the intake manifold. The local Nissan specialists quoted me $630 wow f that. You really have to learn about your own car and do your own work. An afternoon of cursing, screaming and backpain is better than hundreds of dollars imo
since you said it's rotting you gotta flush the whoooole system now to get all the nasty rubber out have fun!
I just flushed it too with fresh coolant. Darn
I just flushed it too with fresh coolant. Darn
stick your garden hose in the engine and radiator without the hoses attached and push the rubber out, that's how I do it. make sure to get ALL the water out afterwards though, don't want scaling now do ya?

My goal is to own a manual transmission Lamborghini Gallardo before i die. I'm not trying to be the, "I don't know anything about cars, so the coolest car in the world is a Lamborghini," but i genuinely like the Gallardo, and by the time i am able to start saving up money, it won't be impossibly expensive. It sounds SO GOOD

gonna take my car into a body shop tomorrow just to get a quote, see if it's worth getting my own parts I don't think I could handle the door by myself but I know I could handle the fender with a bit of time then I should probably just get the car painted. my fav color is green but I don't think that'd look nice on a Prelude [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] Talking about a green like this by the way It's on a 5th gen 'Lude but still

Be sure to always research what parts you need you and if you actually need them, always buy quality products.

Now I have a thing for 5th gen preludes, if only they were rwd :(
i really wanna add stripes to the stang same paint color too. then throw on some rear louvers and a flat black decklid cover

Well, I know this is general discussion, but uhm, Any tips on overcoming fear of driving so I don't have a panic attack on the road when trying to change into a lane like on the highways? I have an extreme fear of driving but I'm currently motivated and don't know how long this motivation will last, so I might as well get everything done with. I'm 17, upcoming senior in highschool, I kind of want to get a job so I can go to some game events around California so my mom won't have to take me..

Really, you won't have to fear anything so long as you study your local driving rules and regulations and not be a general jerk to other drivers. But please do be careful, a car is a ton-heavy metal scrap that can cause serious injury and death, please drive with that in mind

I used to be scared to death of driving. Now I constantly drive 10-15 over speed limits and I don't hesitate to speed up when I see a yellow light up ahead :v:

I just gotta get driving over with, you know?
i like 4th gens better, for obvious reasons
Why? what's different.
i drove a stick shift toyota tacoma all day today to move some furniture. It was a pain in the ass.

You'll make some embarassing mistakes in the process of learning, but we all do so it's something you just have to put up with. Eventually you'll be so used to driving that it'll become muscle memory for you and you'll look back and laugh at yourself for being so silly
Got a new phone today, Went from a [t]http://asset0.cbsistatic.com/cnwk.1d/sc/34118626-2-440-PALM.jpg[/t] to a [t]http://www.techno-lovers.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/HTC-One-X-Vs-Galaxy-S-III-2.jpg[/t] And the first thing I do to it is magically lose it in my car. It was under my ass the whole time. :v: Remember gents. A huge phone does not work well when trying to text and drive.
My 88' Vic had a computer the power of a calculator.
