Well ass, it says my volvo was 17/22
That's v8 territory.
Personally I've gotten better mileage than that. Other people on there say they get 25 or so.

Not as bad as i thought; I was thinking more in the 10-13 range. Never gave enough shits to calculate it myself, i keep my trip for oil changes and the like rather than calculating MPG. Wouldn't mind doing it sometime though.
To be fair though, i don't think that's anywhere near what i get. But then again I've got a disconnected O2 sensor, blown coolant seal, and a lead foot.

Honestly, i think this is pretty good, much better than i would think.

Can't complain with that.
Man I never even got through a tank of gas before wrecking the thing :v: Guess that's both good and bad

Pfftt. More like 0 combined because its non-op currently. Also, Justin, better get that 02 sensor fixed. Mine goes for about $40 and its essential in making sure the car doesn't waste gas. (If mine is wrecked it would wreck the spark plugs)
Was driving and parked on side, GF about to get out and i noticed my temp gauge was almost all the way at red. Turned car off was inside her house for about 45mins got back in car and drove around temps stayed normal.
No fucking clue man, scared the fuck out of me. Going to do a longer drive tommorow and make sure the fans are working

This doesn't seem right at all because driving like a sane person I should get around 24-25 city and that's even with the shorter gearing of the GSR transmission. I've managed 27-28 city on my old LS transmission and 37-38 highway(34-36 highway on the gsr tranny).
I found it near impossible to achieve 18mpg on my new transmission and that tank I treated my car the worst I ever have. I'm fairly sure that my o2 sensors are on their way out as the one in the cat threw a code 30k miles ago and I don't feel like replacing a $100 sensor which tells me if my cat which I don't need in this state is working or not.
My 02 sensor probably needs replacing. Either that, or my driving is so erratic that my mpg has dropped drastically :v:

Not bad. When I get 17 and 26. I guess having no MAF, or any exhaust emmesion sensors or cat's help!
this site is so wrong.
It claimed that my 88' v8 5.0 Vic gets like 22, but yet my 94' v6 4x4 Blazer gets like 11.
My crown vic got 8, and my blazer (on a good day) gets 20

Kinda have to agree with you. I believe my volvo gets more than 22.
I get 250 miles usually out of 11 gallons, and that's city.
Are you sure guys aren't with DMV, you're all so uptight over using your phone
If you can't talk on the phone and drive, you shouldn't drive. It's not that difficult and your eyes are on the road anyway
It's illegal and just as dangerous as driving drunk
hahahahaha not even close
No matter the arguing we can conclude you are much safer with 100% attention on the road.

I guess it would be dangerous under those circumstances, but I doubt that's true for when you're talking on the phone while driving on a road and not doing anything (Parking, u-turns, etc.)
holy shit did you seriously just compare texting to driving schwasted
did like a phone murder your family or something

Texting is even worse than talking on the phone
IMO Talking on the phone is way less dangerous then texting. At least you can have your eyes on the road.
Ok well still that's ridiculous IMO
so you're saying that I can drink 10 beers, get hammered and drive and it's just as bad as being sober talking on the phone?

Well it's only a single wire sensor, so it doesn't have too much of an affect. But regardless, the wire broke off somewhere up under the intake manifold, and i REAALLYYY don't feel like tearing apart the whole top half of the engine AGAIN to get to it. Hasn't seemed to really affect it too much, still runs great. Probably dropped .5-1 MPG or so but other than that i haven't noticed anything.
Dude we both said IMO were soulmates

Fuck you Justin you ruined the auto merge. We were gonna have a moment

Watch the videos I posted. They kind of simulate city driving but it's in the city that things you have to be extra aware of happens. Both talking on the phone and being drunk makes you focus alot less

For what seems like a fairly-new driver with a brand new car, you don't seem to be taking it very seriously.
just wreck it like me
instant reality check
