No one can tell what it is without you taking the splash guard off. It seems pretty far forward though since I can see the tow hook near it, the only things I can think of on my car which are that far forward is the AC compressor/condenser, power steering pump, windshield washer pump and the radiator. From what I remember of my buddy's prelude there was also a vacuum cruse control thingy over there too but that seems too low for it to be that.
Shiban already mentioned what would happen if I don't take it off, so can anything bad happen if I do? And can I just use the jack in the trunk for that?
I didnt let that happen.
This is where you fucked up
This is where you fucked up
Not really, I maintained my lane, and speed... he had to merge in with me.

I would think so, my Integra has a nice little "pad" in the center of the core support which I always use. Your car is stock height though so you shouldn't really even have to jack it up as there's just 4-6 screws/clips which hold the splash guard up there. It's not really needed, I haven't had mine on my car for the last 20k miles and a buddy hasn't had one on his Integra for the last 100k. The clips hardware which attaches it will probably be much more useful being repurposed in repairing the rest of the damage on your car anyways.
It's mainly there just to keep junk from going up into the engine bay and to increase aerodynamics and radiator airflow.
Well it's soaked in oil from (I hope) previous oil changes so it's got to go anyway
Protocol, just back out slowly next time. My 240 unfortunately has a wrecked front lip spoiler, (super rare today), because the previous owner always slammed it on the pavement everywhere. I decided to chuck it because its only being held on by 4 bolts from the original 12-16
To take it off, I bet you only need a screwdriver, if not a 10 wrench. Turning the wheels to one side full-lock will help with the hard to reach bolts. But really, only rip it off if its falling off, otherwise keep it on if the only damage is from that thing.
^ like the guy above said, keep it on. There was a nasty case of a 240 being disabled due to a convenient rock shooting straight into a starter like a bullet
Well like I said its oil soaked and brittle
I'll look at it tomorrow cause it's not like I'm going anywhere
psh plastic... who needs that stuff anyway, I'd just throw it in the bin.
psh plastic... who needs that stuff anyway, I'd just throw it in the bin.
I don't know. I had these 3 plastic pieces in my gear selector with a magnet on the end of 1. Made my transmission shift hard all the time and put it into "safe" mode.
Those plastic pieces decided to break and shit. Makes me want to get a CNC Machine and start replacing plastic shit for aluminum.

If the right lane was clear you should have moved over.

Sorry, left lane for you
Lol about merging. I got on I-20 today to go to work, I merged haling ass ~90mph~
About this time I pass a newer camaro wile merging. I herd him kick it in and he stayed with me until I turned off my exit 12miles down the interstate :v:
[sp]This is why I don't drive on the interstate.[/sp]
Driving home from work borrowing auntie's Toyota mom van. See street racer driving next to me intentionally.
It was a stock RX8 covered in skate stickers with two skinny white boys nodding their head to dubstep. Autotragic. I yell back, "see you on the streets when I get my 240 going! I'll race you when I'm not working!" Rich college kids pfftt

that's not what I'd call rice but that's how people ruin a car anyway.
stickers and dubstep

a stock rx-8 doesn't impress me, i had a 2009 tacoma trd sport 4x4 ex cab v6 auto. lined up with one at the track. he jumped me by about 3/4 car length off the line when he shifted into second( 6-speed manual) i passed him and just out torqued him, and pulled about 2 car lengths out in front and he never could catch up.
My car needed a new gearbox. Got it back today, it's been weird walking everywhere.

If it was me in that situation i'd probably just keep going over. I hate jackasses like that. And camaros are low enough that only my tires would get fucked.

fat ass dad drove my blazer to work today, without telling me. Apparently he's getting the trans leak fixed.

$3500
WHY CAN'T I HAVE MONEY AND SOMEWHERE TO STORE CARS
I normally don't like cars like that but it's so clearly well maintained.
I've been told that my GTO will be here on the 30th.
:suicide: My car overheated right when I got home
It was ether it over heated. Or the pressure busted something. Soon I will find out.
brb 2 or 3 hrs to find out what the major malfunction is.

just blow on it~
Just got my fender push clips. They are about 2.20 a piece from the stealership, and I needed about 40-45 bucks to get the amount I need. I got the same amount, from amazon, for 20 bucks
I love amazon
yeah shopping online is so much better
I ordered a fender and the linings that they quoted me for on the repairs
I've already saved ~300 bucks
Buying a door shell alone saves me a good couple hundred too. $35 for a shell? Fuck yeah I'll take it.
you guys might be buying cheap but do you know what you're buying? These things could be made of inferior materials, hence their cheapness.

I was running it for 10 min sitting still without the AC on.
That is way to hot for my liking. I sense ordering parts and installing. :suicide:
you guys might be buying cheap but do you know what you're buying? And plus Amazon has ratings and comments so you can go by those to see what's up

well the door is OEM and they've been trying to sell it since March so
The fender was only $100 cheaper and says it's OEM in the description

Perhaps it means "OEM-Style"?
