Try to go for those early 90s to late 90s imports. After I get my thermo fixed and some spare change for a downpayment. Not keeping Audi. I love it for all of me but I hate how I still need to put alot of money into it. Control arms, valve cover gaskets, tranny service, rear diff service, and a overhauled brake job.
get a volvo 940 wagon
Get another audi and not some slow wagon this time

Uh oh. Engine coolant consumption is going up again. If it isn't the heater core again this can't mean anything good.
Uh oh. Engine coolant consumption is going up again. If it isn't the heater core again this can't mean anything good.
See if your coolant has oil in it. Check your oil and see if it's like a milkshake in there. It might mean a broken gasket. If not, some hose/clamp is leaking. Speaking of which I have to start on the car soon. I'd need to remove some tension pulleys and the powersteering pump just to reach those stupid old hoses next to the main block. Thoughts? Bassett Wheels

That's a pretty clean 240, hope you get the motor sorted out though. Have my eye on an Apexi Noir catback exhaust. Stainless mufflers pointlessly attract attention imo not my 240 btw lol. need opinion on rims taste/choice
So apparently where i was able to drive from 9 PM till 2 AM constant non stop without any problems just a month ago, now i can't drive an hour on and off without overheating. Coolsauce. Looked into a V8 swap. When you tally together everything you'll need, harness, ecu, conversion kit, tranny, engine, driveshaft etc. etc. etc. I'm looking at almost quadruple the cost of a simple rebuild kit for the higher compression S5 engine out in the garage. HMMM... [editline]15th June 2012[/editline] IE almost double what the car is actually worth for a V8 swap.

My blazer runs at a cool 190F even when idling on a hot day

Yeah well my engine is blown so yeah. Not semi-broken. Blown. IE i burn half a gallon of coolant every week because of the blown coolant seals-type of blown. And the rest of my cooling system is ejected into the overflow and onto the ground because of the compression each day, hence overheating easily. I can even smell oil and gas in the coolant so.

That Vert ended up being sold, looking at two more tomorrow.

What kind of Swedish wizardry is this
It's still a 740, 940, w/e number, and it says so on the cars as well (except for some of the older 745 which actually say 745 on the back). It's only common to say either 744/944 or 745/945, because then you know exactly if it's a four door (sedan(744/944)) or five door (estate/wagon(745/945))
