So my honda needs new cat converter to pass inspection so time to buy one as inspection is coming up, question is
100$ for cat converter

new o2 sensor
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251031062432
140 for cat and new 02 sensor, why the fuck do shops charge literally 600+ for cat changes. Literally only an hour or two of labor sawing off and welding on the new cat
My integra needs a new secondary o2 sensor but by my guesses the primary is probably just as bad and or the cat is considered bad by the ecu. I've been searching around a lot and I'm not quite content with paying an extra $60 a sensor for a specific length of wire when there are plenty of other o2 sensors with the honda 4 wire square plug. Over at Team-Integra someone replaced their primary sensor with this one and it worked just fine for more than half the price of the same ntk or denso specifically for my car. The only downside appears to be that the wires are like twice as long.
The front and rear o2 sensors are also apparently exactly the same except for the length of the wire so with the rear one costing even more this saves like a good 70% of the cost or something.

The cat on my car just bolts in after the header, you have an obd2 car so you might also want to replace the o2 sensor in the cat which tells the ecu if the cat is working properly.
I'm just planning to get a cat delete instead and use one of those spacers on the o2 sensor but my problem is that the o2 sensor wouldn't fit with the spacer there because there's already little room for it poking out the side.
Yes, I mean like especially with the Monte Carlo, it is a car that is supposed to have RWD and a big V8, GM killed it by rebadging a lumina with a body kit.
Also, I take that back, I don't hate all FF's, I just don't like torque steer.
I mean there is the 850 / S70 and Civics

Edited: Cubeman reminded me that I badly need an O2 sensor because both idling and on the highway I'm consuming the same amount of gas because the O2 sensor gave out years ago. I found a Bosch replacement on ebay for $60.

Why are they selling it unpinned?
It's a universal so you can do your own wiring. But usually you can just go to an autoshop and order an OEM bolt-on.
I need a new one as well, my car eats gas like crazy

You.. didnt trade it in...
You.. didnt trade it in...
it was free. at the chevy dealer my dad works in, they take them out of trade-ins and throw them out. So he grabbed a couple, and keeps them here at the house. It's also the same way I'm getting some new wheels. The guy who bought the truck they were on didn't want them, so the dealer took them off, and they gotta throw them out.
I got lucky and my truck came with a brand new Interstate Megatron II.
