The only on it that would drive me insane is the wiper blade being at a different angle than the other.
But it's so purdy. All the VW's here are so purdy.

wow it DOES look like a mini delorian.
I don't really have the knowledge/money for performance mods, so I'm sticking to aesthetics for now. And I don't want to lower it, I already have trouble with 50% of speed bumps because of the awkward shape of the front bumper
It wouldn't be too expensive if you did a bit of research. A general tune-up would be cheap and you don't even have to install it yourself if you don't want to. Change some sensors, spark plugs, ignition wiring, injectors/insulators, change the airbox to a cone filter, maybe even a short-ram intake. Perhaps even a new cat-back exhaust + muffler. Improve your gas mileage. The lowering springs lower your car for only 1-3 inches if you don't want to go coilovers and they're affordable
Aesthetics, like those pictures, get a grill mesh, fog lights, some cheap body kits. The right rims pulls the look together. But do your fellow drivers a favor by not blacking-out your tail lights, safety over aesthetics
pictures of the fog lights
Wow that looks nice
I might black out my tail lights, but leave the turn/reverse/brake lights as they are. And I'm most likely going to buy some stock rims and black them out with plastidip, when I get a bit more money saved up i can get some nice 17" ones
I think smoked tails is weird fad. People think they can get the can of paint and get to work.
The only kind of smoked tails I liked was on a black Dodge Ram, He had it were they were just berly red but mostly black. And had a few layers of clear on top. Very clean look. But did not make the light be blocked coming out as bad.
IMO I think aftermarket LED Tails are annoying. The led's die and I laugh my ass off.
Still waiting on my coolant hoses from CourtesyNissan. Taking forever

I ordered over $200+ worth of stuff and they haven't even shipped it. They're really slow/unorganized. Ready to ship on their online catalogue my ass.
But they're the only retailer that has my stuff so I have to put up with their representative named Susan. I JUST WANT MY 240 TO WORK ALREADY
Same here, I only found the part on two sites, and courtesyparts carries it slightly cheaper. I may just have to go to the stealership and if they carry it
I found a set of roof bars at the junkyard today, amazingly enough, the guy dropped off the car only an hour before I got there. They need work because the guy didnt have the locking key, So I literally had to rip them off the car.
At least I got another fuel rail in very good condition, and luckily, Have a brand new FPR at home to go with it.
I saw the weirdest thing at the junkyard too, a Volvo 940 turbo modified not to have a turbo.
Why is it so damn hot outside, its 105 out there. And before people start saying that it's not that hot, it was -30 degrees this past winter. Fucking weather needs to stop being so extreme
[editline]23rd June 2012[/editline]
It's the hottest weather my city has had since the 1930s
MN would like some of your winter. We had nothing.
Just ordered a new muffler, and new retrofit 2wire O2 sensors to replace my single wire O2 sensors. Next I'll order some headers to replace my leaky stock manifold.

It was 81 and super muggy, think it was at ~80% humidity on Thursday, enough so that the air compressor where I work had a good half gallon of water in the bottom of it Friday morning. :v:
It was 60 on Friday, and it's rained all day today. :\

I'm thinking these, mostly because I've heard Hookers are pretty good, and they're kinda cheap.
What if I blacked out all of the chrome on my car:

Opinions?
You're trying to make a Nissan Altima look good - don't even bother.
:o i am severely offended
BTW, anyone know how much it would cost to have an Exhaust shop install headers, new exhaust tubing, a new muffler, and possibly a new cat if I bought all that shit before hand, including the gaskets?
[editline]23rd June 2012[/editline]
I got just under $1,500.

A few hundred in labor, $200-400 max. You're paying to use their lifter really. You could do it yourself actually, it's pretty much a straightforward bolt-on. Don't be surprised if you get shafted in price. This Nissan shop is asking close to a thousand just to replace a stupid hose/thermostat. I ended up doing it all myself.
In order news, I found my friend's old 240sx being sold a few cities away. Feels bad because the current owner neglected it so much. My friend laughed so hard when he saw it up for sale on CL
I don't feel like doing it. Mostly because I don't feel like fucking with engine mounts.

For some reason, I REALLY want this car.
Problem is, by time I get that one, i'd want another one.
Freaking mint, do it Siminov, join the club
If I had a working 240/money I would go out of state for a mint 240
If I wasn't finishing my car on severance pay, I'd do it.
Found this, hng

I finally got my first car! My uncle made sure everything inside was alright and running well. But I really cared about the appearance.
How would I go on about fixing the minor paint chips and scratches like these?
