Anyone have any ideas for a FM Transmitter for your phone/other device. I've been trying to find one and have yet to find any that are worth buying. (I have a stock 1999 Blazer Radio - no aux port)
I'm going to make it a classy hunk of junk. Just really, really, really low.
Like a street rod? If so, then this is the only color scheme for it:

It doesn't take up an accessory plug and you don't have to worry about finding a clear channel, it just works.
Lost coolant again... Anyone know how to see for sure if there's coolant getting past the head gasket?
As some of y'all might not know. When I was changing my tires on my car a few days ago my jack broke.Making the car fall back on the ground very hard. Luckily I had 4 bolts on the tire semi-tight. I can take it and extend and retract it using very little pressure. Kinda depressing when you search online and you find out this jack was meant to be used on a small ford car. :suicide: [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1031910/Img%20Dump/2012-06-29%2022.47.26.jpg[/t] [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1031910/Img%20Dump/2012-06-29%2022.47.44.jpg[/t]
That ain't no real jack, get a real one, that's for emergency only :v:
I WANT MY WHEELS ON NOW THIS IS A EMERGENCY! I was lifting a 3858 lbs vehicle in the rear with a jack that was rated for a ford focus that weighs 2,706 lbs. OOPS. I do need 2 nice aluminum hydro jack's and a set of floor jacks. Ohh and a thing you lay on your back and roll across the floor on... I had fun as A kid on those :v:
My jackstands are those good ol' creosoted guardrail post. Works very fine :v:
Ohh god Dropped friends sister off after our 'date' second I get to her place insta thunderstorm. All the street lights go out Traffic signal for crossing a higway goes out Electric wires touch and arc bright white and orange VZZZZ_ZZZT about 10 feet from my truck, blinded me fora few seconds
Lost coolant again... Anyone know how to see for sure if there's coolant getting past the head gasket?
Check your coolant reservoir. Check for chocolate milk. Check oil and dipstick, check for chocolate milkshake. Check muffler for white smoke. Otherwise, it's regular maintenance. Water pump, leaking hose, freeze plugs, etc. I know because....:(

I saw these people ahead of me turn on there hazards and pull off to the sided of the road. I pull off to on the left side were there was a side road. A electricity line went down and was arcing on the side of the road. The line was drooping over the road and was twisted once over the line that was holding it. I did not give a shit about my dads truck. I went under that power-line in 4WDL If anything was about to stop me It would have to hang on! I had to Angle my self |- side ways in the road to get under the line, just rained so in the ditch tones of water and mud. Lets just say there was a dirty 08 Chevy Silverado and a few people thinking I was a idiot. :v:
The cool thing about dexcool from GM is you can tell it's leaking when it looks like someone had dihhireia all over your engine. My honda's reservoir for coolant was bone dry, Literally the hose at the bottom of it was dry as well. What ever was in the radiator was it. Anyway I filled it up never had the overheating issue, Mechanic fucked up forgot to fill it after draining it or didn't put enough in I don't know. No engines problems caused thankfully. If your leaking coolant theres a few small hoses or infact the two main hoses that need to be checked on the radiator and onto the engine. Run the engine let it warm up and see if you notice any leaks. Rev it a few times and see if anything leaks, If it does tighten the clamps and if it still leaks need new hose or hoses. Check under the car for dripping (Make sure your A/C is off). If you can't tell if it's water sounds funny but easiest way is either by color or if it looks like water take a quick taste, sounds bad for you but a small drip of anti-freeze won't kill you (Alot will though). Most antifreeze is greenish in color but will look clear if it's in a bottle or large amount. Hopefully it's just hoses cause leaking from the engine it's self can get expensive
Can't wait to look at this other dart, sort feels like I'm cheating on my other one but this would just be for summer driving.
Cant wait for some one to post there Audi's. I know 3 people here that have them 2 older's one's and 1 A3. Mustang bro and some one else.... I want to know how your projects are going :v:
The cool thing about dexcool from GM is you can tell it's leaking when it looks like someone had dihhireia all over your engine.
Dexcool kills rubber seals and hoses. I know my car has all sorts of random water tubes that heat up various engine components like the throttle housing. One of them is busted and peed everywhere. I also just found out I gapped my spark plugs incorrectly. Stupid car store employees. Gapping to .41 tomorrow. I guess I just tap the end a bit? Learn from my fail
tap the end a bit, be careful. There is also a de-gapping tool you can use but it's unnecessary. What's the gap now? Incorrect gap won't make much difference unless you're talking about sub-.30 gapping, since that's too close. Or any gap over .50 is pretty insane, too. I always gap at .40 just because it's a great distance to baseline any engine, you can't really go too wrong with it.
That ain't no real jack, get a real one, that's for emergency only :v:
The only jack I have access to that can actually lift my truck is the jack behind my seat. I've used it probably 6 times since I got it. I use jack stands too.

I think 0.41 is somewhat in the middle?
Welp, apparently a DeTomaso Pantera has driven into a crowd in Borgholm on Öland [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] six to hospital

Water pump, leaking hose, freeze plugs, etc. I know because....:(
There is no coolant/oil corss contamination and due to a bad O2 sensor the car constantly runs rich so starting the car always results in a white cloud and it's too hard to know what is moisture and just a rich exhaust. Pump was replaced in february with the timing belt and the hoses were swapped last summer when one blew in the mountains. Heater core was replaced the year before that.
No cassette deck? I bought a shitty Walmart cassette adapter that works great in the Lude
No cassette deck. I had an adapter for my old vic for that but now that I have a radio with a CD player, Im finding it hard as fuck to find something [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] Also - last night I had a bearing go bad. Mother. fucker. I hate doing anything with the wheels, especially since im trying to buy new ones
What would usually cause a high idle RPM on an direct injected diesel? Before I go troubleshooting :p
talking about diesels, runaway diesels seem horrifying
talking about diesels, runaway diesels seem horrifying
I find the sounds diesels make incredibly unnerving. I don't know why. Also, why did that happen?
Dexcool kills rubber seals and hoses.
Dexcool it self isn't the devil. Its partly their retarded claim of a 150,000 Mile service life and the fact The OAT (Organic Acid) they chose to use reacts more rapidly with Air in the system (IE: Low coolant for extented periods of time/bad Rad cap/System not bled after Coolant system service) We had a 99 Grand Prix that We flushed/changed the Dex at 75,000 Miles and was still on the original gaskets at 172K... But my 02 impala was abused by the first Owner and was on its 3rd set of intake gaskets in 102,000 miles.

I seriously don't understand how runaways happen.
