5000 danish? [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] That's cheaper than a folkrace car
well that's the danish rules, sell your car for 5000 or you don't race.
I should steal my bros MI16 and drop it in a 106 or something and start doing that :v: too bad that i'd have to sell the car for 5000kr if anybody wants it :(
When what where I need a Winter car..
nonono zotic, i meant after the races, the banged up pieces of metal go for 5000. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] actually, if you run in class 2 i think it is, which is 18 or 16 years and up, it's 8000 instead of 5000
Oh, so you're talking about folkrace? I thought you were talking about a normal road car
yeah I was on about folkrace, sorry about that. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] the mi16 is currently in my brothers crushed up peugeot 405, i can grab the engine if i want it, but i'd have to get it out myself plus, i dont have anything to drop it in currently.

Can anyone give their opinion of this crown vic?
For sale is my 2003 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor 117,XXX miles 4.6 V8 auto, it has power seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control and Cd player. Has the heavy duty police options, and has the factory posi-trac rear end. Also a lot of new parts installed recently, has new spark plugs, new front wheel bearing, new intake manifold and gaskets, and fresh transmission fluid. This car runs and drives good, but it does have it blemishes. The paint is not perfect and has a few chips, and the drivers door does have a dent in it from when someone slid into it and the AC needs to be recharged. These do not effect drive-ability or function of the car in anyway. Just selling the car because I don't drive it enough anymore and have too many cars. Asking 1800
[t]http://images.craigslist.org/5E45Hb5M93Gd3Lc3N6c6h155d73b934e2125f.jpg[/t] [t]http://images.craigslist.org/5Ic5Kd5J43Eb3Ge3M7c6h94f36db79b381447.jpg[/t] Is $1800 a fair price?
1800 isn't bad for a running, driving 2003 anything.
Only thing is automatic <- can do this otherwise
Actually you can slide anything around. But... Police Interceptors (And any crown vic, for that matter, since forever) only come in automatic. It's to avoid the hassle of driving a manual transmission car for a police officer on duty. a good lead foot can still send a big, boaty, heavy Vic spinning if you know what you're doing.
Was talking about drifting. Sure, you could swing a car around with the right technique Still, imo, would never buy a Crown Vic. Coming from my own dad who was an officer, he would never drive a unit like that for civilian life. Too often do people get shot up the moment your car looks even a little like a Crown Vic where he used to live. Said he'd rather help me with a 240 than a decent Crown Vic anyday
I could drift the Durango, 5.9l v8 auto SUV.

(along with taking O/D off).
A friend was saying I could get better mileage if I bought a decent air filter for my Corolla. Is the improvement worth whatever that would cost?
depends on how shitty your current one is
A friend was saying I could get better mileage if I bought a decent air filter for my Corolla. Is the improvement worth whatever that would cost?
It helped on the durango. Went from 12-14 to 13-15.

I've done it. Multiple times. Sometimes on accident :o They aren't as big and boaty as you would think, either. (They are big, but with everything in them stripped and the upgraded suspension then you get ->) They handle like they're on rails and have the nice bump of a police interceptor V8 to back it up. And I'm talking about our 500K+ miles retired police car cabs. I can't imagine a new one. I still think any intelligently modified performance car could outrun one, though. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] (But I'd never risk it..)
Afaik swapping a manual into a vic/matauder is 'easy'
Afaik swapping a manual into a vic/matauder is 'easy'
why would you need manual swap when you can do gears with automatic manual is so stupid its dumb and old and for cavemans
and thus begins the shit fit of July 2012.
i was really high last night and compared my cars engine to mechanical city with grinding chains that make the power and why it sounds really good under load at 3-4000 rpm idk why i said that. i also said in a cowboy voice that they call me nugs mckenzie oh and im back from kentucky which sucks. fuck that place
Afaik swapping a manual into a vic/matauder is 'easy'
Speaking of the Vic/Marquis/everyfordbigcarlol's beefy cousin, the Marauder is fucking sex. And I hate fords. Something about a jet black nothing-but-business V8 blandfuck sedan just gets me. More companies should do this.
oh and i watched a shit load of fast n loud and i now like 50s hot rods
Welp, Tommorow going to clean the engine bay if i wake up early and then do some work and fix my coolant leak. Also honda hit 97k
what the fuck, i just noticed that almost all the engine videos on youtube have been recorded with a potatoe :\
im going to try and put an ac system into my car, which is going to be the first "big" thing i do to my car.
