I saw some videos where you carried around some engines etc, you looked very average in those videos?
I'm 196 cm tall, and I don't even know how much i weigh :tinfoil:
I wear baggy clothes because I can never find any my size, so I look bigger than I actually am. What little weight I do have is muscle, I just don't gather fat.
I think I have one pair of pants that is my size, and all my shirts are a size above what I should be wearing. I'e gotten so used to it, I can't go back to tighter shirts. They feel weird.
you need stuffing inside that rack!!
let's start with a turbo
I ate a turbo once
Haven't been able to slow down since
I'm shit out of luck right now, so far the car doesn't even want to run, the timing is fucked to shit, the turbo somehow leaks oil and coolant with NO SHAFT PLAY and my WG actuator doesn't even work.
And i'm forced to tow it in 2 days.
RIP dad's hammer
Died at the young age of ~20 of natural causes...

Anyone know if you can give a brushed copper or brass effect to alloy wheels? I think that could look pretty sweet

Aint nobody gonna take my head
got speed inside my brain
Sweet, dad got a free V8 out of a Z28.
Can anyone recommend a good brand of jet helmets and racing chairs?
Chairs have to be FiA certified, mind you

HANS is a plus
Hey there guys! Alright, so I just went out I got the Primer, my car color's touch-up paint pen, and a clear coat spray bottle.
I am now dumbfounded on what to do or how to start this off, fixing the paint chips, and scratches.
I tried youtubing and googling for guides but they leave me more confused. What should I do? When I brush the damaged chipped area it leaves wavy brush lines that doesn't look right. I am such a dumb faggot amateur. HALP

Which Z28? Those were essentially truck motors with TPI bolted on all the way up to '93 (When they went to the LT1, Corvette motor)

What kind of lingo is that even
Racing chairs?

[editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
FYI, Chairs have legs and are able to be moved. Seats are fixed sitting objects. (There really is a difference.)
Sorry, I meant seats
Brainfarts are scary

How much do you want to spend per seat+helmet combo? How important is HANS to you?
I'm not sure about a budget, but let's say $1500?
HANS isn't that important

By a Jet helmet you mean one with a inlet for air? or one with a gasmask? Would you need a harness as well or do you already have enough sets?
Also what country are you in?
By jethelmet I mean something like this
I don't really get the harness bit, but I'm sure I'll get it soon
I'm in Sweden
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
If you mean seatbelts I need those too
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
I'm looking through the rules but I can't seem to find anything about FiA-certification on the belts
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
It doesn't say anything, but it has to be either a 4- or 6-point harness

By a jet helmet I thought he meant either

or

Whether he meant that or this kind of helmet, Jet Helmet is incorrect. A Jet helmet is significantly different than a crash helmet, and actually, a real jet helmet has no jaw on it so that a gas mask can be put on inside a cockpit.

The terms he used were weird, and I've never heard anyone call racing seats and helmets by those names (probably because it's the wrong way of doing so)
I'm extremely tired, so that's probably the reason
Also, the rules say "jet helmet" so I thought that was correct
Went to another body shop today, looking at $2400 with all parts included, though they said the fender I have is the same they would've had so that saves me about 100 bucks. But that's door, paint, possibly reshaping the pillars. Not terrible, but my wallet isn't gonna love it.

Are you actually painting with a brush? Don't do that; brushes are only for tiny areas like around the car's badges, basically.
Use one of these:
Probably late, but I'm pretty sure if liquid starts pissing in out of the "Glove box area" then it's probably your Heater Core. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Any way to test this without taking the car apart? I still get heat through all of the vents and my car doesn't have proper AC, just cool air from outside.
I love me some close calls.
got up to about 65 coming up on a little bridge on my.. road.
cop came over the bridge while im flying up the hill, 40 zone, saw his brake lights light up as i went over bridge and i noped quite hard, took a wherethefuckamigoing route through some random streets, have no idea if he turned around or not.
I fortunately haven't seen a cop while i was driving (too) fast. There have been several times where i'm going to gun it, get a weird feeling and decide not to, and then see a cop. I've got spidey senses or something.
It happens to me way too often. 50 in a 35, 95 in a 65, 75 in a 50 (work zone), I've had all kinds of pants-shittingly scary encounters. I need to stop speeding so much
I've become famous in my friend group for having magic cop avoidance powers. Whenever I'm in a car, no matter how many laws are being broken, when we pass a cop he doesn't see us. I've cut off state troopers, passed cops on the highway, made illegal turns, tailgated cops, and regularly speed everywhere...without getting a single ticket. Also because of my unique vision problem, lights in the distance appear as giant orbs of light. Here all the cops use super-bright blue LED light bars, so I see a gigantic bright blue ball and I'm just like nopenopenope and I slow to ~5-10 over the speed limit.
ive learned to identify cope headlight patterns so i can tell if someones a cop or not at night. pretty handy
I work with crown vics all day and have come to perfectly picture everything about the design of the car in my head. I can tell if that car coming over the hill x amount of miles away in pitch black dark is a cop or not just by the shape of the car and the layout of the head and driving lights, as well as side markers. kinda useful for looking behind me at a stoplight to see if the guy tailgating me is a cop or not :3
[editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
Not to mention the gigantic obnoxious fucking light bars they throw on the roof which basically screams I'M A COP WATCH OUT!
So I want to do something like this:

I got the same hubcaps and everything so it gives me a good idea of what my wheels will look like. Are the steelies under the caps flat black also, or just regular black? I can't tell because I'm not sure if flat black on steelies and flat black on hubcaps looks different

Until you realize that the headlight configuration for PI's is changing with the new model.
