Well, I'd be damned.
Where do you guys go fast? I want to speed but I don't want a ticket for reckless driving. All the racetracks around me (Chicago) cost like 35K for a membership.
Freeway Speedway, mountain passes. Might sound cliche, but around here, there's too many cops and those are the places where you could. That can't be true, racetracks here cost $50-100 all day usage for the amateur trials. Also, I just sprayed alternator industrial cleaner into my left eye. Ricocheted from my ignition coil straight to my face. Hurt like a bitch, like getting hot sauce on your eyeball. Reached for the nearest water bottle. Im ok now, safety first gents
Fuck yeah, mountian passes are fun, I got to drive one in a Subaru Legacy AWD, sadly it was auto.
WHAT http://www.spotify.com/us/ I got it and I will never go back.
If it's an iphone app why not just use pandora? At least then it's not restricted to JUST the iphone, it's universal; even on a web browser or as a program on your computer. That's what i use. The point here, i think anyway, is to have something permanent, not something you need to plug in and boot up every time you want to listen to something; It's part of your stereo. Or is your stereo. Idk. That and my iphone likes to overheat and lock up on me when it's in my car because it's so damn hot down here. That gets to be a real pain in the ass sometimes. Not to mention the cord draping over my shifter.

I've always used pandora, never really had any problems that made me want to quit using it and switch to something else. That and i bought premium for pandora, it's only $30/year give or take. May as well use it. And the only thing it grants is higher quality audio, among other small things but that's basically it. So it's not like they're forcing you into it, you can easily just have a free account. No real limits other than the amount of songs you can skip, but you can always add them to a do not play list of sorts. not sure how spotify works though. Haven't even really heard about it till now.
Would anyone know any good ones around chicago? Cause I looked and I kept coming to dead end websites
i just wait until I can get really cheap albums or some MP3 credit on amazon. I have the 32GB iPhone 4 so there's plenty of room for music, I've got at least 20gb of it all music. Tell Siri to play a playlist, hook it up to my cassette adapter, good to go [editline]7th July 2012[/editline] Also, helping my dad clean the garage today. We want to try to actually fit more than one car into a three car garage, but that's probably not happening. i've been bit by a spider twice now, and that shit gets itchy.
I just love using thumb drives on my stereo to play music, got about 12gb of music that way.
Thats what I used to do but then I got a phone that's not from the 00's
I just use my iPod right now for music. If that runs out of space (I think I've got like 4 gigs left), I'll start using my phone too.
I had a 8 gig memory card, still use it along with my ipod, but spotify is a bit easier since you can pretty much listen to anything anytime
What do you guys think of the new Dodge Dart?
I think it's ok but they need to stop with the single lightbar rear end. It looks bad.
What do you guys think of the new Dodge Dart?
Looks good. Considering one for my next car. MSRP a little under $18k the way I want it... I wish they'd offer more than just a 4 cylinder, though.
What do you guys think of the new Dodge Dart?
My dealership just got their first one in for display, It looks fucking amazing.
sirius kicks ass. i switch back and forth between my ipod and sirius all the time
I had to get towed home tonight, I was driving and all of the sudden I felt something was wrong and heard a whining sound coming from under he hood, immediately I knew it was from the transmission. it goes into gear when the car is turned off, but when I turn the car on it continues to make the whining sound and I don't move, and when the car is turned on in neutral I can't shift into gear and it feels like something is blocking my way. My friend said it could be a million things, ie; throw out bearing, syncros, clutch. I knew my tranny was going bad, but I didn't think it would do this, any help/ advice? Im having a mechanic look at it tomorrow hopefully he can find out what is wrong and give me a estimate, if it's too much I'll just rebuild the tranny myself
240 needs oil change. Looking at synth, what brands do you guys run on your med-high mileage cars?
I run brad penn 50w in my truck, my dad uses it in his race car and when he works on the car he dumps it all out (mind you it's still really clean, just a precaution) and I put it into my truck. Because of its heavier weight it tends to stay under bearings keeping them lubricated rather than be push out of the way by all the forces and allowing the bearings to touch down. This may not be as important in my truck but it makes a good difference in my dads car, and when you pushing 2500hp you can bare to lose some from a heavier weight oil for the added reliability.
So my bestfriend's girlfriend put Super in her Unleaded Only car... Now we wait and see what'll happen. [sp]I volunteered to syphon the gas out[/sp]
So my bestfriend's girlfriend put Super in her Unleaded Only car... Now we wait and see what'll happen. [sp]I volunteered to syphon the gas out[/sp]
Higher octane is better. Nothing bad will happen.
yeah I thought it was messing with the car's recommended octane level that fucked it up
yeah I thought it was messing with the car's recommended octane level that fucked it up
Super is a higher octane.
Super is a higher octane.
i know it won't fuck anything up is my point, aside from her wallet
My friend's civic said Regular only. He put 93 octane in and it ran so much better than it did on regular. The engine is designed to run on low octane fuel, but any engine can run on higher octane fuel sold at the pump, and usually run better while it's at it.
i'm also pretty sure older cars are labeled unleaded only since there was a point where we had to switch from leaded to unleaded, and putting leaded fuel in an unleaded car is no bueno
My old vic ran 100x better on Super/Premium then it did on regular.
My old vic ran 100x better on Super/Premium then it did on regular.
that's all unleaded fuel, it's just got a higher octane rating
