2012 pinto modern day fireball
It depends on the situation. You don't neutral then using your brake system solely to slow down you car while going down a hill. But you can also do that technique if you're going at slow speeds like coming up on a light. Usually, I progressively down-shift because my brakes would be dead by now if I didn't. That, or my clutch because I suck at RPM matching
I've become pretty decent at rev matching, and have been working on my heel toe.
I realized today I could've afforded camaro and even though they're like 4 10ths of a second slower than a mustang and it wouldn't have been as highly optioned, it still wouldve been cool. Fuck I shouldn't have regrets
bitch ass nigga you aint even got a caddy you aint got shit nigga you aint even here yknow that man? ylike there... man. yeah.:pwn:
I've become pretty decent at rev matching, and have been working on my heal toe.
I use the balls of my feet, twisting my leg all the way around is too much effort for road driving
edit: fixed
goddamn
hehe my truck has the same pops and crackles when I let off the gas after rodding/reving [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] And high Exhaust gas velocity+low backpressure>everything else, from what I've read. With regards to all this talk about straight piping.
Im getting a dirvan video soon gopro under truck for some sick fireball action and then on side of truck for giving 0 fucks dirt road dorifuto

With regards to all this talk about straight piping.
Unless, of course, your engine benifits from at least a little bit of backpressure. My rotary, for example, can see gains of almost 50 horses from a full exhaust system, which i have, but if you go with a straight pipe and aren't turbo'd, there isn't enough backpressure to open the 6'th ports, which basically will net you even less than stock hp. Side note, depending on what happens tonight i might be getting a new FC. Reason being is that this guy that is supposed to be building me a new engine has bailed on me multiple nights in a row, granted due to family issues but bailing nonetheless. I stayed up till 1 AM last night with work in the morning waiting for him because he said he was on his way but never showed. So basically, if he shows up tonight FINALLY, we can discuss build options...If he bails on me yet again, A friend of mine is willing to sell me his (Which is in much better shape, I'm hesitant to admit, but it is) for about what I'd pay for building the motor myself. Which is why I'd like this guy to show up, If he wants a grand for an engine rebuild I may as well fork out the extra 300 for a whole new car, but if he only wants say...400 bucks to rebuild it, then we'll see what happens. Pic of the car: Doesn't have those rims anymore, I think he put the stock ones back on.
Low back pressure, not none. Velocity is the important part I guess. You want to go big, but not too big on your exhaust diameter. Er, big enough to flow, but small enough that the exhaust pulses create negative pressure in the cylinder on the exhaust stroke or something like that. Supposed to increase your Volumetric efficiency or something. I think I read too much shit on the internet, but don't fully grasp the big picture. CAI/TB spacer(apparently TBI's(what I've got) are all they actually do work on), get? [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] Aint cheap, but it's got free shipping! http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VNT-15857/ [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] Or I can pay out the ass for an AEM.
Got my Learners plates. I have a Ford Laser manual to learn in. Hopping to buy a 1978-1980 Nissan Skyline.

I have 2 options for this Sunday. 1. Climb a mountain that got royally fucked by a wild fire, and look over all the damage and take awesome pictures and videos. 2. Attempt to finish the car and fire up that freshly built engine with fixed Magnaflow exhaust. [sp]on chrome BITCH[/sp]
With oil in my coolant system, crossed my fingers and went to the old mechanic, trusting my dad they're good. Left it there until next day he said it's fixed. Wondering and worried what he did to my 240, I wouldn't believe he fixed all that. Low and behold I stress test my car for a couple of hours to find he just put stop leak in my cooling system. Wow ok. Yeah, time for a new shop
My car has now been pushed to the back burner... This girl is now my #1 priority
I raced a mustang today, an old fox body. The good news is, I won. The bad news is, it was vs a v-6 turd wagon. Still, my heavy, wore out, tired ol' truck won against a (neutered) sports car \:v:/
\ Why does my dad keeps all those tires? There's about 25 or more in there! The only one that fits my car are my Blizzak's (And are also mine) and those Nordics.
I've had 2 sets of nordics. first ones were great but theres a busted cord in one of the tires. Now My second set has micro-bulges on 3 outta the 4 tires. :( Next up I think is gonna be a set of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R or Hakkapeliitta 7s.
and the girl was my prom date. [editline]14th July 2012[/editline] fuck not refreshing page
My car has now been pushed to the back burner... This girl is now my #1 priority
no no no. "I put you above my car babe" you make them THINK they come before it. [editline]14th July 2012[/editline] Oh also the video is kinda meh, may be up on youtube by monday, I'll request some stills of the lil fire pops from my friend tomorrow.

I got another update on that Volvo the girl wants to meet up the 22nd her and her stepdad to discuss the car and how much they will sell it for. I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE MONEY YET GAWD wait... I have 600 of the 1,600 :suicide: I don't even think I want a "project" car. Hell insurance alone for me a month is 200$ add another car another 100$ And berly pushing my budget as is on Gas and insurance. Some one chime in and tell me I need a project turbo wagon!
So apparently my mom's station wagon's broken, or something. I don't know what for, but that's not why I'm here. She was looking for a website to help her with whatever it is, and wound up turning her current Windows install into slag. While I'm fixing that, I might as well ask you guys: What are good websites for car related things?

VWVortex = VW's and Audi's Audizine = Audi's catch my drift?

I would talk them down though, you could probably get 1500.
Oh lawdy. So i was leaving atlantic city And was like oh right there is a tunnel that goes to the other side of town Pardon my greentext, paragraphs are for fags >kick up the revs, drop into 2nd gear at ~35 mph >WOT the second the tunnel begins >loud boner inducing backfire when i let off and shift up to 3rd >let off after i hit 65, rev the engine some, dat backfire It was a great start to my day.
I'd give almost anything to have a tunnel somewhere around me...I think it'll be a requirement for wherever i decide to move out to someday.
I'd give almost anything to have a tunnel somewhere around me...I think it'll be a requirement for wherever i decide to move out to someday.
Its so fucking great like i thought the little overpass was nice but this shit its fucking surreal i dont even know how to describe it, I'd love to hit it some night with no traffic and a gopro, launch from the entryway and just blast through the whole thing.
I'd pay to watch it
I think my rear driver side caliper is sticking, I can't drive my car... I went in for a ride, to get food, and then suddenly began hearing loud noise coming from the rear, on that side, and the rotor changed color a bit when I returned back home. Any help?
well... they are...
i meant as in that was what he thought was the only difference between a v6 and a rotary
