I saw a brand new vw minivan on the way home today, with a burnt out headlight. How can someone have a burnt out light on a BRAND NEW car? Can someone really be that neglectful?

Just look at that interior!
My insurance is due for renewal in January. That gives me time to save up and I'll hopefully be able to get an 07 or 08 plate for around £7K used ofcourse.

I actually heard something about that, usually it's newer cars with burnt out headlights, I don't remember what caused it, but it was something that wasn't around in older cars really.

Great news for James May
I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of people that aren't too happy about it, assuming it gets locked down and torn apart and replaced with some kind of shopping mall or something, which is usually how it goes down.

Good thing its in the middle of a forest and has a castle inside it.
If it gets torn apart before I can lap it I will be very displeased.
That particular article says it has: [quote]an amusement park with hotels and a shopping mall that make up the local attraction.[/quote]
It's already too late.

I'm surprised the auto makers don't pump some cash into it.
Probably too busy pushing out economy car # 5,000,000. What ever happened to the pure sports car, anyways? Like the FB? They still make muscle cars, but is anyone even making a genuine sports car that isn't $200,000? or an extra 0 even?
[editline]17th July 2012[/editline]
I can't think of anything other than my rotary blood to use as an example atm cause I'm a lazy fuck head, but i think you get what i mean.

so a muscle car is not a "genuine sports car"? but your rx7 is? LOL but anyway,
subaru brz
sti
evo
mustang
camaro
challenger
charger
golf gti/r
viper
corvette
370z
IS-F
Sucks that racetrack is going under. You'd think they would preserve it with the history and all.
Other news, I'm officially hired at my local car expendables shop. Recharging batteries, selling oil and replacing headlight bulbs. Earned $80 already, hopefully more to fund my 240sx

First of all i said FB, not FC. The FB was a pure-er sports car than the FC, maybe not as good but made to be more of a pure sports car. And I'm classifying the mustang, camaro, challenger, charger, viper, corvette etc. etc. etc. as MUSCLE CARS, hence why i said muscle cars, I'm talking pure, sporty, possibly turbo'd cars, such as like you said a subie or evo...So yeah.

I really hope they do, I'd hate to see it go the same route as other race tracks, IE abandoned and rotting away. I'd like to drive it sometime.
I can't imagine Sabine Schmitz being too happy about this

I must be having a change of heart because if i bought that i would probably just slap some clear over the rust and call it a day, then get started tuning it up.
Then again, Black body with whitewalls sitting on red wheels... damn son.
(maybe even a twotone cap section?) dont know how that would look though.
[editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
as far as the calling it a day part i mean as far as paint goes, I'd still fix the missing lights and trim pieces if applicable
OOT: haters gonna hate on my shitbox:

Fun fact, that box works on rams from 72-93, the LRE and Warlock came with the same box.

I'm putting down my bets that some of the big car companies are going to pitch in and buy it. Since it is a moneymaker + a good way to test their cars.
Don't know if this is the right thread for this, but my dad's getting me a 97 Lexus ES300 soon, gold and leather. Is it a good car?
It looks just like this,
