Nope, caliper bolts. After 13 years of this car being used (160k mi) the brakes have never been changed and the bolts are WAY tight for me. I put my entire weight against them and they dont even move
Use a cheater bar? Also, that feel when my grandma's silverado is more powerful and sounds better than my blazer :suicide:
Use a cheater bar? Also, that feel when my grandma's silverado is more powerful and sounds better than my blazer :suicide:
Not enough room. (And I tried)
Well if you put your entire body weight on it, I'm not sure an impact wrench is your solution. Penetrating oil probably is.
Not enough room. (And I tried)
I had the same issue on my '85 Z. I ended up breaking all the bolts trying to get them off. Good luck!
Also, that feel when my grandma's silverado is more powerful and sounds better than my blazer :suicide:
Even my French Diesel family car has a faster 0-60 time than your blazer if your previous post is correct :v: - My spec sheet says 12.2 seconds and I haven't scientifically checked but it seems around that, probably less as I have the seats taken out and there's a lot of weight in them seats. I bet your car is more fun to drive though, my car choice is totally driven (lol) by practicality (I use it as a van) and fuel economy. It has that signature Citroen marmalade roll-o-matic suspension and the gear changes feel like an umbrella in a christmas pudding. I love it :P
Every other truck in south Georgia has a huge lift kit, noisy offroad tires, and a supidly oversized tailpipe.
Yeah, this is one of the automated hardtops, it's awesome. :) 32k seems a bit steep for an NC, though, my car was only 18k and has 44k on the clock.
it was new and a grand touring power hard top. it had suspension and premium packages and the shiny gas door.
Went to a euro meet, one of the guys with a Modded Volvo S70 blew an oil seal in the parking lot, he had to get it towed home. :( Did a good bit of stuff today, it's in the other thread. I'll throw some pics up tomorrow of my updated engine bay.
Well I decided not to go for the 2013 V6, because I found a 98' Cobra SVT ;p
Oh right it's what I've been waiting on for months! Just saw this and it made me laugh Initial T (Train)

Did a walkaround... I wish my exhaust wasn't quiet stock shit...
that feel when you're changing oil, and when you take the plug out the oil goes everywhere but the drip pan
Got my insurance renewal notice in the mail. They want my car to go in for emission testing again otherwise they won't let me insure my car. Fuck off. I really don't want to replace the O2 sensor and pay another shitty $75 for your stupid testing. You aren't even going to continue it for another two years. [editline]2nd August 2012[/editline]
Not all states are required to notify drivers of the cameras in the intersection. I forget which ones though.
I got fucking flashed by one of these last night. I turned RIGHT on a stale yellow in an empty intersection that did not state when you were not allowed to turn right and it fucking flashed me anyways.
So I've priced out all my dart shit and after I sell everything I should have a profit of around $1700, and still have a $400 hood and $300 doors. Pretty happy with buying this old hunk eh junk.
Well I decided not to go for the 2013 V6, because I found a 98' Cobra SVT ;p
so your passing on a brand new v6 mustang with 305 hp and 280ft/lbs and 31 mpg or 29 mpg and weights 3500lbs for a 305 hp and 300 lbf·ft rated at 23 mpg highway and weights 3400lbs price? or insurance rates? [editline]2nd August 2012[/editline]
that feel when you're changing oil, and when you take the plug out the oil goes everywhere but the drip pan
warm....yum

More bang for your buck.
He talked to me about it, he said price, plus the cobra has a modified engine. More bang for your buck.
now that i understand.
that feel when you're changing oil, and when you take the plug out the oil goes everywhere but the drip pan
It's always great when it's windy and soon as it starts to slow down the oil just gives a nice stream all over you and the ground.
>implying you'd ever get a v6 junkstang over a cobra ever.
Though it puts out 100 more hp than your v8 :p The engine on the SVT Cobra, which is a 1998 has a nice list of mods, even though it looks rather crappy. And it is relatively cheap compared to the brand new 2013 V6 mustang.

My friend is paying 425 for a 2011 GT. And when I finish I would pay overall $38,000 for a V6. No thanks
Accidents follow me. I was the passenger in a hit and run - that is, my friend backed out of a parking spot into another car just now, and he drove off. With me in the passenger seat. I don't know what I should do. The other car appeared to be fine, but that doesn't mean it is. Should I turn him in, or should I be a bro and let it slide?
>implying you'd ever get a v6 junkstang over a cobra ever.
oh mighty mighty mighty... when will you ever accept the new v6's are nice?
