what are you talking about the new challenger is gorgeous
You guys, I've fallen back in love with the GT-R. Finally got to ride in one tonight, a 2013 owned by my cousin's friends. We were sitting at the light, he holds the toggle switches to turn on launch control, and while I'm mid sentence BAM we're gone. I'm not kidding when I say the blood was rushing to the back of my head and I couldn't have gotten out of the seat if I tried. It was so damn amazing. I even forgot what I was talking about for a while.
Goddammit dodge, I still can't believe what they did with the challenger: "OH MAN THIS THING IS SO COOL I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT BODY STYLE IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!" If they would have kept the same body as the old ones, the new RT would be so awesome. I personally think that the new ones are looking big and seems like they would drive like a boat.
http://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/3115535648.html What do you chums of the AA forum think about this beauty? I have all the knowledge and tools to make that thing gorgeous in like a month or two. I know the price is SUPER high, I'm going to tell the guy flat out that the car is worth like 1.5k :v: Only reason I want it so fucking bad is because the 69 Charger R/T is my all time favorite car.
http://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/3115535648.html What do you chums of the AA forum think about this beauty?
Frame/body shell looks good. See if any parts have been eaten away by rust. Other than that, yeah really high price for a crap shell that needs restoration
Well it'll be a bit (lot) of money and time but if you can pull it off, why the fuck not

The fact that they slapped the name of my second favorite car of all time on it just makes me even more happy.
Seeking as its an R/T and it comes with an engine $3000 is probably the best price you'd be able to get for it.
Seeking as its an R/T and it comes with an engine $3000 is probably the best price you'd be able to get for it.
Yeah I was going to call him today and ask for more pictures/talk him down etc. since the car is like 3-4 hours away and going to look at it isn't really feasible. I'll set like 3k as my starting point :)
What. 1986 Foxbody GT Cobra?? You understand that was never made? (Confused as fuck)
LOL like I said the godfather made it. So yes there is. ;3
Yeah son, paycheck day! $400 for stocking oil on the shelves and mopping. If I work harder and with longer hours, I can look at a turbo system soon Engine fixing time. Get my friend to help me remove the head, take it to the machine shop to be checked then resurfaced. Buy timing chain kit, ARP studs, gasket kit. Then rebuild everything.
Those are all different cars. The '66 are both first generation chargers, the '71 is a third generation. The '69 he is looking at is a second generation. Is there anything I should know about 280's? I'm seriously contemplating taking the half hour drive to go take a look.
Old cars and the northern states do NOT mix.
I'm from Minnesota and I can confirm this

This is not some cheep knock off of a cobra.
Was the car an original 1993 SVT Cobra? No. It's not a Cobra. Just like a 1969 Charger with a 426 Hemi or 440 doesn't make it an R/T. Or a '69 Mustang with a 302 Boss engine doesn't make it a Boss Mustang. Or a '67 Camaro base with an SS nose and fuel cap doesn't make it an SS or an RS (Since the blinky light nose was on both...) I'm sure it's a very nice car, and is probably great, but a Cobra clone isn't a real Cobra no matter how much money you throw at it. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be rude here, just honest. You don't make a cobra. I'm not calling your car a cheap knockoff, I'm not calling it a terrible junk heap, I am just telling the truth: Your Mustang GT isn't a Cobra. Sorry. :( [editline]4th August 2012[/editline]
Datsun get. I prefer the chassis to the old S30 (inb4 datsun guy hate) because struts n' shit. Good deal if it runs and moves on its own.
I need some input here i have this old alfa 164 cost me $1400 and ive proberly spent about that again replacing various bits, but she's dying faster than i can get her fixed. cassis is in good nick apart from a dent in the rear quater, and a mangled front bumper. but the engine is in need of a rebuild. just wondering is it worth is and how much should i expect to pay. 3.0 v6
Why does gear oil smell like eggs and ass? I went and checked the rear end fluid level on my blazer and I got it all over my hand and it smells like I anally fisted someone now.
on the other hand mobil 1's ATF +4 smells faintly of candied fruit tastes pretty bad though, did a transfer case service on some old chrysler, forgot to pull out the check plug first and it spattered all over my face i do like ~5 driveline services and 30+ oil changes a day and I still manage to get covered in fluids by the end of the day
LOL like I said the godfather made it. So yes there is. ;3
Just like everyone else said, You're wrong, and Ill prove you wrong. Run the VIN number on the car, guess what? It'll come up as a Mustang GT. Oh wait, it doesn't say Cobra. Don't pass your shit up as a Cobra just because you put a Cobra motor in it and threw some badges on it. You're car is a GT, always will be, and will never be as awesome as a Cobra is. Alright, thanks, bye. Sorry about being all pissy. Haven't had the best of days, and it got to me pretty easily. Im sure its a nice car and all. Have fun with it. Don't blow the motor like I did in my Cobra.
http://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto/3161229479.html Welp some one over pricing a piece of shit. Tried talking him down to 2k but he asked if I was high. I thin told him I specialize in these vehicles and own 2 of them. he sayed "k" I sayed "Best of luck selling it to some one else, I suggest spending the 150$ for a new bumper so it at least doesn't look like shit. Back to my Turbo project car for 2,600 :v:
