Anyways, I sold some parts and the guy gave me $280 American and I cant give the stuff away, nowhere will take it and the banks won't convert it to Canadian (beat me, they say I have to be a member). Should be ordering a quarter panel for the dart soon and sand blasting it some more, I have most of the parts for it but I don't know what to do. swap the front, street car, race car, ugh

Failed my driving test with 0 minor faults and 1 major (hitting the kerb during a reverse around a tight bend)........shit.
Failed my driving test with 0 minor faults and 1 major (hitting the kerb during a reverse around a tight bend)........shit.
Unlucky man, some would say that's the hardest manoeuvre. It it makes you feel better, I failed first time too :) Book another test ASAP, and keep looking for dates closer to the time as cancellations do come up. I managed to get a new test a week after my first. Good luck man
i failed my first cause i disagree with keeping to the right on a street thats two ways but only one car can fit down it anyway.
just finished 30 hours of drivers ed learned nothing now I have to drive 6 hours with the instructor some time, yay

Just bought an original 1989 S13 factory service manual. Perhaps the last on the internet

I'm pretty happy that I only got one fault overall, because the test was the day after coming back from a 2 week holiday in Florida, so I was pretty jet lagged ahaha. Oh and cheers for the advice dude :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaYFLb8WMGM never buy a jeep ever ever never forever
Yesterday I was hanging out with my friend and his friend from the internets. Kid had a 2012 F-150 4x4 he got about 2 weeks ago, and i got to pop its offroad cherry! Its got the poverty spec interior, so no carpet. felt nice not getting mud all over the place on the floor. Thing was pretty damn fun to drive offroad, my only qualm was the knob shifted 4x4 taking quite a bit of time to shift wheras with a manual one you just pop it into 4x4 and go. Great ride quality onroad too, especially for a truck. It would of been a lot muddier but it was too wet out. [editline]11th August 2012[/editline] Oh the dash was nice too i guess, im not a spoiled bmw cunt so i dont judge interiors but i guess its what you would call 'nice quality'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaYFLb8WMGM never buy a jeep ever ever never forever
You base that off of one jeep model. You've never driven a CJ5 have you?
jeep's always had handling problems. When the old ww2 jeep design was updated with independent suspension, it'd flip over very easy.
america has no idea how to do suspension
Am I the only one in here that thinks jeep's are fun to drive?
My dad has a really old Willys Jeep, I think it's from the 60's. It's a blast to go mudding, or just riding around in forrests with.
america has no idea how to do suspension
Most handle like boats Fine, the lincoln town car we had handled like a boat
Am I the only one in here that thinks jeep's are fun to drive?
fuck no
fuck no
what year did you say your bug was my friend?
wee I almost got into another accident involving swerving again this time it wasn't me swerving though, it was a dumbass in the wrong turn lane
what year did you say your bug was my friend?
71
71
ooo, pretty I'm seriously looking into '74 supers now, and I know you hate the dashboard and turn signals but there's something about them I love
hnnng aircooled.net finally got more cylinder head temperature gauges.. there goes another 120 or so bucks but at least I'll know if the car is even safe to be driving, i should have that by wednesday of next week hopefully. i just gotta make it until then, bah. ghetto-ly hooked up my oil temperature gauge but i didn't drive anywhere, it seems to work though so that's good. oh and my 20 day plate is up.. like.. tomorrow i think so i think i'm going to "sell the car" to my dad so he can go and get me another 20 day plate then when that one is up hopefully all the work will be pretty close to done (my buddy will put a sticker on it if it's close enough, i just don't want him to risk his license over it) and i can go to city hall and actually register the car i'd have gotten most everything that's left to be legal done this weekend but it has been raining like a fuck since thursday and most of what is left is body/ohgodbondoeverywhere work and i don't have anywhere that i can pull the car in to work on it out of the weather ffffffffff. i'm trying to come up with a sequence of letters/numbers that fit the "military" motif i'm going for, too.. i'm thinking about a big white star on the doors and then some string of letters/numbers on the front fender but i want something with some kind of meaning but worst case i'll just put something meaningless just so it looks ~totally kool~
So there is this loud tick coming from my dad's bmw 528i, I warned him about it but he doesn't seem to listen. Sounds like piston slap to me except the engine has only 40k on it and it was completely warmed up. It also didn't go away when accelerating, and came from what seems like cylinder 3. I'm guessing I should be concerned?
