if you have to ask if you should be concerned because the engine sounds off, then the answer is probably yes
Got this Drove my car slowly to my mechanic place with the spun rod bearing. Told my mech what I wanted, he's gonna do everything this week.
Need to invest in motor mounts as well as new pigtails for my injectors. Both are pretty shot and increase the cabin vibration on my 240 last time I ran it
71
That's lovely, MightyMax. Disagreed about a fact about my own car. Do you know this better than me?
hah my friend scored an old Geo Metro from his mom he's driven it for a week, and now it doesn't shift past first gear turns out his engine mounts broke, and his engine was resting almost entirely on the clutch cable i don't even
That's lovely, MightyMax. Disagreed about a fact about my own car. Do you know this better than me?
Do you really take Max's ratings seriously?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaYFLb8WMGM never buy a jeep ever ever never forever
those were diesels not yet here to the us (2013) and with the air suspension and 20's. my wk2 has the normal suspension and 18's and v6. but Mercedes Benz would be who to blame. my wk2 had an benz tranny and has made in geremy stamped everywhere. als oThis* has been shown to be a flawed/faked test on allpar.com and autoblog.com
Alright, so I am getting a '98 jeep grand cherokee in about a month or two. Thinking about painting it a different color, new rims, etc. But there are also some things wrong with it. The brakes need to be replaced, and I also have been advised not to turn on the air conditioning, because it will use up the car's power somewhat quickly. etc. What should I do, keep the jeep? Or should I save up money for another car?
Don't waste money painting it, A/C ain't important, you've got windows.
Yesterday I was hanging out with my friend and his friend from the internets. Kid had a 2012 F-150 4x4 he got about 2 weeks ago, and i got to pop its offroad cherry! Its got the poverty spec interior, so no carpet. felt nice not getting mud all over the place on the floor. Thing was pretty damn fun to drive offroad, my only qualm was the knob shifted 4x4 taking quite a bit of time to shift wheras with a manual one you just pop it into 4x4 and go. Great ride quality onroad too, especially for a truck. It would of been a lot muddier but it was too wet out. [editline]11th August 2012[/editline] Oh the dash was nice too i guess, im not a spoiled bmw cunt so i dont judge interiors but i guess its what you would call 'nice quality'
Wait what. How is an Fx2 Sport in any way the stripped down version? Actually, how is that thing a 4x4 when the side clearly says Fx2, implying the 2wd sport version, opposite the Fx4? It takes literally seconds to switch into 4Hi and 4Lo, you know 4Hi is on demand and 4Lo requires stopping and neutral correct? I feel bad for the truck if you were taking it anywhere that required 4Lo without a load. Electronic Shift on the Fly is leaps ahead of the old manual transfer cases, ever since the early nineties.
r u sure it dont say stx? cause fx2 has painted flares.
I'm pretty certain that says FX2 but I guess I could be wrong. It even has the FX2 rims. But no painted mirror caps.. hmm.. I guess I'm wrong... Why would you drop 35k on a F150 for the decoration package on the cheap model and not even get carpet?! They basically paid Lariat price for the cheaper model souped up! To get the decor package you need the 5.0 engine and oh my god! :pwn:
1 more thing about your bug, the paint job - does that style have a specific name? I plan to get it painted like yours (but blue instead of red)
I've heard that it's cabriolet look
I've heard that it's cabriolet look
thank you!
Easier to just call it exactly what it is though which is two-tone because I have no idea what a two-tone paintjob has anything to do with cabriolet versions of the Beetle :v:

It takes 5+ seconds to shift to 4hi, occasionally requiring you to pull forward and wait a few more seconds. Non manual transfer case shifters are just asking for trouble. [editline]12th August 2012[/editline] It's an STX

I figured i had to be stopped for it to work. Also the whole exposed hydraulic hoses for the shifter is a little iffy :v:
Those are dangerous, if you want to get a jeep, get a Wrangler or a CJ
Oh ok. Because if I can't get a jeep, I really want a BMW (2001). Despite it's high maintenance.

Don't blame me, I didn't buy the title :|
Those are dangerous, if you want to get a jeep, get a Wrangler or a CJ
Jeeps have always been dangerous but the same can be said about many cars. All you have to do is just see which one suits you the best. I prefer the jeep CJ-5 but that's me
That's lovely, MightyMax. Disagreed about a fact about my own car. Do you know this better than me?
No, I just like watching you all get ass-hurt over 16x16 pictures.
No, I just like watching you all get ass-hurt over 16x16 pictures.
I couldn't give less of a shit what the actual picture is
I couldn't give less of a shit what the actual picture is
then why bring it up at all.
Why disagree of a fact?
