Mightymax, if you don't want to answer him, stop abusing the rating system. It's there to be useful, not to be annoying. Rating someone "just because you can" or to "watch them get mad" is the same as shitposting, flaming, or trolling. Stop that shit, god dammit.
Craptasket, you're our hero!
Cool beans, now back to being all happy and good now that the bane of AA has been banished.
Spraying a stencil onto a car is a huuuuge pain in the ass. spent over an hour trying to clean up a mess of overspray, still looks pretty awful but i give up for now. i obviously don't have the patience for it today 'cause i was pretty ready to just freak out and re-spray the door with green and be done with it i don't know what else i can do, though. if i tried to tape it all off it would take forever and still not end up looking very good, at this point i'm considering making up some kind of ghetto wallpaper glue-esque paste (water+flour or something along those lines) to try and stick it all to prevent the spray from getting under the stencil but i don't know
Woot fucking yesss he's gone... now, on to cars: fr-s is a slow piece of weird engineering shats
So, Fox-body Mustangs, anything in particular I should look out for when shopping around for one? I'm most likely getting the 5.0 V8, definitely manual, unless I can find an SVO in my area.
Not a whole lot to say other than avoid convertibles, they will either be rotted away, rusty as hell, or twisted because they are a papier-mache chassis. Not to mention, convertible 'stangs are for women (SORRY HELL STRIKE D:). I like notchbacks myself. You'll probably have more luck finding a 5.0 LX (which came in both notch or hatch) than a 5.0 GT (Which came only in hatchback). The downfall is that more GTs are manual iirc. Personally I like the LX more though. They might not have looked too different but they were a bit more subtle and not so "Hey look at me, I have a GT! It says so in my bumper's impressed lettering!"

Just fitted original Pioneer Bluetooth unit into my car, so now i have handfree, and i can stream bluetooth audio onto my car stereo... it's really awesome.. love my DEH-P88RS
I'd be most worried about hidden rust, especially on the undercarriage.
fucking this. Im never buying a used car again without inspecting the fuck out of the undercarriage. If they aint gonna let me jack their car up, they can go fuck themselves.
I alway bring my carjack and securing candle when I visit a car, that way you can look under the car closely (bring a small led flashlight), check the brake lines, fuel lines, undercarriage, suspension, bushings, arms, subframes, diff blablabla.
Emailed the guy about that MKII, went to set up a meet, and then realized I can't pull more than ~$500 out of an ATM per day. Fuck I'm an idiot.

Just hoping someone doesn't buy it out from under me, and our schedules can line up.
Does anyone know about car amplifiers? I have 2 subs hooked up to my amp but recently the amp stopped getting power. I have checked most of the wires connected to it, I just can't figure out what is wrong. Could the amp be blown? There is a big fuse that connects to my car battery that looked a little bit melted. What should I do? Thanks!!!
How could you say such a thing :(
He meant that I wanted a manual, but there are more manual GTs than LXs, so I'd have a harder time getting a manual.
He meant that I wanted a manual, but there are more manual GTs than LXs, so I'd have a harder time getting a manual.
Oops, out of context. But anyway, really the Foxbody would be the only non Import i'd buy other than a old Jeep CJ. I was looking at buying a nice manual GT before I invested in the 240 turbo, I love the hatchbacks more than the notchbacks though, the GT's had more cool features too.
The main power wire fuse is to be checked. The fuses on the amp too, the connection behind the stereo.
All the fuses are good. But the wire fuse to my car battery looks a little melted. I'm guessing replace that? I'm not very mechanical with cars and such :v:

does it look cool or over the top?
boop. my twenty day plate expired today, most likely going to "sell the car" to my dad this week and get him to go down and get me another so i have enough time to get everything sorted before actually registering the car and having to get it inspected.. fuckin' rain went and messed everything up, i would've gotten way more done if it didn't start raining every time i went to work on the bug this week/weekend managed to get it all painted-ish for now though, the stenciling looks like shit but whatever. it's better than the shoddy flat black that was on the car before (if the poor car hadn't had the front and rear end hacked off i would've stripped the paint back to what seems to be an OG light blue hiding underneath the black and gone for more of a "resto" than a "fuck it i'm going full on sacrilege on this bitch") anywho, quick picture of my awful rattle can paint job and stencil work. i still gotta put the mirrors and the roof rack back on, too.. (it's a hair darker/more green in real life, the picture doesn't really do the green justice or show just how bad the stencil job on the star really is) [thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/79488177/IMAG0465.jpg[/thumb] still not 100% sure if i'm going to keep the star or not but i think it fits even though i'd like to have positioned it a little different oh well, it was a pain in the ass (and the driver's side looks even worse so whatever)
No, I just like watching you all get ass-hurt over 16x16 pictures. (User was banned for this post ("Admitted to trolling - Don't post here anymore" - Craptasket))
Thank you so much Craptasket
Found a steam powered tractor today. Weird as fuck. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11823009/other/2012-08-12%2014.59.31.jpg[/t] and, it was wood fueled
I'm pretty excited that SRT is going to be its own brand, I just hope they end up with cars better than Challengers/Chargers other than the Viper.
Some motherfucker keyed my car >:(

Any pointers?
If he really wants a Datsun, buy a 240sx like I did. I wanted to buy that 300zx until I talked to a couple of friends that owned one. Ridiculous and expensive repairs. Repairs are overtly complicated. Plus $5500 is way overpriced for that unless you were a die-hard Z fan.
