Saw a beige 4 cylinder Golf with a plaid hood pattern and a fart can trying to race a Roush Stage 3 Mustang The Mustang was driving normally yet the Golf couldn't even keep up. :v:
what do americans consider "low mpg"
below 10 (I'm serious too)
what do americans consider "low mpg"
I think of it as anything under 15
what do americans consider "low mpg"
Imo 20mpg- good, managable mpg. 15mpg- not too shabby, could be better 10mpg- low/bad sub 8 mpg and not a bigblock fuck yeah murrica v8- LOW and not worth it [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] oh and 30 and above is great.
i consider low to be anything under 20
Got the job! I've been told the first week or so sucks, but after that you get used to it. After this, I'll be an expert at topping off fluids and changing oil :v:
Anything under 29 mpg is considered pretty bad here in Sweden. 29 mpg = 0.8 liters per 10km
So ca 0.88 liters per 10km, mixed driving is p. good then, rite?
They're great if they have been maintained. IE, serviceable parts like hoses, water pump, radiator, transmission, brakes etc. Nissans are real finnicky if they haven't been prepped.
sHiBaN, do you know if there's anything prone to breaking? I am a bit worried about the rear axle (bad English?) as it might have been handled roughly given the many owners in a short time. Also, just got news that someone else is going to look at it.. I better find the money I need fast.
Question since I dont fuck with this stuff. Is it possible to rid my 99 Blazer of this 4-speed automatic for something... better. Like a 5 speed auto? Been reading up on it and people say that its possible with the manual version of the vehicle but nothing on the automatic.
Managed to do 18.6 miles per gallon in my car, city driving. Not too bad for a 14 year old 3.0 V6 car that weighs 3200lbs
Do keep in mind, our gas is lower octane. Getting high mpg on american gas is not as easy as getting high mpg on European gas. It does make the gas a hell of a lot cheaper, though. That, and we need cars that can drive comfortably over 40mph on a daily basis, so a 0.0001L engine won't cut it over here.

Plus, diesel gas is more expensive than premium gas, wtf.
I think of it as anything under 15
only 18MPG (UK)? thats terrible anything below 25MPG (UK) is pretty bad for todays standards
