>dat hugggge description Got my fan and coolant reservoir. Now got my girlfriend to sew me a new shifter boot from premium vinyl muahah
I get all my shift boots made by my buddy Stefan from cali, part of the LowMonroe: crew. He's a cool guy and hooks me up, only about $10 a boot in any design I want.
I present to you MR HANKEY the burnout poo This was once an Ford XD Falcon
nooooo not the merc we could be benzbrothers very soon! awh
I don't think anyone will buy it. It's been for sale for some time.
Last few days with the car, then my brother gets it for three years of University since he's a cock and didn't want to live on campus when my parents (Who are paying for our education) suggested it... at least I hit the 123456 milestone on the odometer this summer: Man, I liked that car.
Look under the car this morning to find some clear oil and whenever I hit the gas there is a very quiet whine, thought it was the trans shitting itself at first but it shifts fine, it was low though so I did top it off. My dad says its my power steering unit going bad. Since power steering is clear liquid and it originated from the engine, I checked it and there seemed to be no visible broken hoses or leaks? Should I inspect it further for any leaks, I did check the level and it went down SLIGHTLY from full, but 2 weeks before it was at minimum.

Would have to get it rebuilt.
Planning my very first road trip for this weekend. I'm driving from here in Southern California to Flagstaff, Arizona. It's a good 8 hour drive, I've adjusted my route so I can pass through Lake Havasu, Kingman, and some other scenic routes. I'm pretty stoked, I've only heard good things about the drive.

The old owner put in some generic PS fluid. The manual asks for a way-thicker, Dexron formula. I sucked it all out and replaced it with that and the whine went away and so did the steering problems. Maybe you could look at the oil you put in? Also check your brake fluid. I know my DOT4 is clear like water SOON

http://greenville.craigslist.org/ctd/3226441731.html Does anyone think this is a good deal for this car?
Because I dont have a reader, all my local shops charge to do so, and I have no money. That's why. [editline]27th August 2012[/editline] Nothing changed when I unplugged the MAF. Thanks though.
Because we can fucking magically diagnose your car without knowing fuckall about it or it's current state. Buy a reader, it's 150$ and it will serve you big time, CEL can be triggered by ANYTHING. Unplugging the maf won't do shit for idle and will make it die when you rev it, it will trow a CEL when you do that too

Thanks anyways.
yeah because WE DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT YOUR CAR STATES. YOUR ENGINE COULD BE FUCKING ON THE SHIT OR TOTALLY FUCKED UP AND IT WOULD BE A THOUSAND DIFFERENT DIAGNOSTIC EITHER WAY. for fuck sakes.. "hey guys my 1jzgte doesnt start, CEL come on its a 1jz in a mk3 supra helpmeoutImfuckinglazyandIsuck." that's how you sound. [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] The point of CEL is to know exactly what is giving your tccs a trouble, so you can narrow by a thousand fold the troubling area
http://greenville.craigslist.org/ctd/3226441731.html Does anyone think this is a good deal for this car?
That's a bit high for a convertible/auto C4. Get the coupe, you won't be happy with the convertible. All C4 coupes had removable targa tops which looks far better than the convertible with the top down. For that amount of money I'd wait around for a manual one.

Is there a point to getting irrational about this instead of being like "Hey man, that's a bit too vague, you should check the codes the cel is sending out", or are you just having trouble controlling your anger over the internet?

When my CEL comes on I shove a paper clip in the harness under the dash and it flashes out the code, but that's just Chevy.

I'll be nice and link it again and if you can't do that and figure out the problem nobody here can help you because nobody anywhere can without knowing what went wrong. I put in generic PS Fluid, which may be why. Thanks, I'll check it out.
When my CEL comes on I shove a paper clip in the harness under the dash and it flashes out the code, but that's just Chevy.
my 95 mustang is the same way except it's in front of the firewall on the passenger side
Mine's underneath the trim under the steering wheel, pretty much just hanging out.
Mine's underneath the trim under the steering wheel, pretty much just hanging out.
..Like all chevys :v:
People keep the weirdest shit in their car sometimes. Had a car today that had a jar of peanut butter, rocks the size of tennis balls, and like a thousand water bottles scattered everywhere
Yeah the point is because racecar, now leave whore.
I love you [editline]28th August 2012[/editline]
When my CEL comes on I shove a paper clip in the harness under the dash and it flashes out the code, but that's just Chevy.
Almost all obd1 cars. my 1jz and my 7m are like that
I wish I had an OBD. I'm stuck with a nothing. Well, I have a thing. You need to build a box that has an LED in it. It's complicated and dumb. Hurray for pre-standardization.
