phew for a second there i thought we were going to have a problem
The only immediate problem I can think of is my car's battery is the same one it was shipped with in 1996. :v:
I don't care if anyone gets my personal info. My facebook and all under my avatar is all my real shit.
ok then bradley bishop of "kellyville" oklahoma

I was actually born Bradley Palmer, true story.
My initials spell NRD.
True story.
The Pfeiffenator's initials spell Jap.
...hence the nickname. I usually call him Josh IRL but I throw the "Jap" out there from time to time, it sounds cooler and hopefully makes him feel a bit cooler than he actually is. Poor guy.
Not really, my post gave you a link which showed you how to pull codes with a paper clip or piece of wire and you chose not to pull the codes. I'll be nice and link it again and if you can't do that and figure out the problem nobody here can help you because nobody anywhere can without knowing what went wrong.
http://sbftech.com/index.php?topic=2471.0
The codes as I've read them twice through are: 111 111 1 113 157 158 181 189 542 112 157 158 181 189 542
K series sound like shit.

My initials spell CAT, which now seems a bit less cool than jap.
bleerrp.
tranny leak is apparently materializing on the ground and splashing onto my tranny because srs trying to trace the leaks on the tranny leads to.. well.. nowhere that gear oil could come out.
maybe it really is just residual oil from me spilling a shit load of it on the tranny while filling it. the fill hole is on the driver's side, right above the frame horn and above/next to the driver's side axle so i just stuck a hose in the hole, held it in place and had someone else pour the oil into a funnel, down the hose and into the tranny. Needless to say, shit got EVERYWHERE and everything smelled like gear oil (me included) for at least a day (i hate the smell of 90 weight oil, probably the worst car related smell i can think of).
who knows, it's such a tinnnyyy leak/drip. Seriously, over night/a couple days there's maybe a quarter sized patch of oil on the ground under the car. Worst part is that the tranny is absolutely caked in 45 years worth of old oil, dirt, grime and who knows what the hell else. I've cleaned it as much as i can but short of pulling it out and power washing it or something there's just no way in hell to get all that gunk off.
whatever. the tranny shifts like butter (especially considering it's most likely all of 45 years old) but i'll probably end up checking the oil in the tranny this weekend, i should anyways because i replaced the boots on the swing arms and the tranny does splash the oil out into the boots to oil the bits inside the boots so you're supposed to fill it, run it for a little while and top it off just to make sure you've got enough oil in it.
Clutch Master and Slave Cyl should be here Thursday, or possibly Friday. :\
Anyone else find themselves speeding unintentionally sometimes? For it's at the point where I'll be driving on the highway and glance at the speedometer and realize that I'm going 75-80. I consider that a regular speed for me though :v:
