What about something like a Mazda 6? There seem to be plenty around where I live with a manual. My dad drove one awhile back and said it was a fun car, but aside from that I don't know much about them
I'm looking for a sporty car in the US with a manual and seating for 4 people. I was looking pretty seriously at a Mazda RX-8, good idea?
If you don't know anything about Rotaries and are just going to daily the thing, please don't. I've seen enough people just trash that just because they "like the looks." It's like that grandma that has been given an automatic RX8 just to drive it once every month to the grocery store. If anything, get a muscle car. Lots available used and they're commonplace here so they're easy to fix. I would suggest a Nissan 240sx, the S14 newer 90's versions because they are more reliable. But they can be a real headache too if you don't know how to fix cars yourself. If you just want one to drive people around, don't get a tuner. It's a tuner for a reason. Go put down payment on new Scion FR or something

I posted a while ago how my car's RPMs started dipping during idle. It got worse until it started actually dying in parking lots and and the like. I replaced the fuel filter and checked the plugs, no change. I pulled the codes and got 111 111 1 113 157 158 181 189 542 I was told it could possibly be the IAC valve. I cleaned that, and now it's worse, and it spits white smoke, when before the exhaust just smelled too rich. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll be trying to find out what the codes mean in the meantime. I can't afford to take it to a mechanic shop right, so i'm trying my best to fix it without having to do that. Edit: 181- Fuel delivery malfunction high 189 - Pump speed signal fault 113 - IAT sensor too high/open 157 - MAF signal is/was low or grounded 158 - MAF sensor is/was high or short to power 542 - Fuel pump open, bad ground or always on - - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits Looking at the codes Im thinking it may be electrical? Also, it's acting differently now. I can start it up and it runs fine. I'll rev it up to 3,000 then the CEL will come on. After that, whenever I rev it, it'll come back down and rest on 1500rpms for a few seconds before dropping back down to a little under 1.
So I was on the bus coming home, Camry, Mustang, Civic, S15, Mus- ...What? I got a good look at it when we were all stopped at a red light. It was definitely a S15 Lightning bolt emblems, More-flangey headlights, stock spoiler and Silvia emblem on the rear. It was probably a 10/10 conversion from a 240 or a 180. "Well shit" This is in the US mind you.
Working at $8 an hour full-time is the poverty line in the US. fyi. ( we calculated this in my econ class... fun fact?)
As of today, I've made $13,850 this year. Our football team managed the fit 15 kids in a mint '76 civic (photobucket is being a bitch so no pictures atm. Also, $1000-ish later the 2 front inners and 1 back quarter are in for the dart, they look nice.
It better be turbo
we'll just turbo everything from coffee makers to microwaves. ;p
I found a pretty clean RX-7 FD3S today for sale. It's €6,500- and it's clean as hell. Only a slightly missalligned bumper that is kinda damaged. For the rest it's sweet. http://www.autoscout24.nl/Details.aspx?id=220684494&cd=634831555550000000 Dutch site, Sorry. Is it worth the money?
i'm turning into a hipster ;_; i have a roof rack on the Beetle so i'm slowly filling it with shit that is never going to be used for anything. scored an old army green trunk at a yard sale for $2 a couple weeks ago, varnished it 'cause it's only particle board and contact paper so it needed something to protect it from weather and to preserve the ~awesome patina~. then scored an old metal gas can today at another yard sale for $5, again with some ~awesome patina~ that i'm gonna secure up next to the trunk but maybe i'll actually put a little gas in it as a back up plan for when i eventually get myself lost driving around idgaf, i'm going all out balls to the wall with the silly beat up/scruffy military motif i have going on the Bug. it works because i didn't put a whole lot of effort into the paint job and the car is naturally beat up and shit so it's just easier to go with the old beat up/used look than it is to try and make the car look like it's not old and beat up (plus it's cheaper)

It's fairly rare here. More rare than Nissan Skylines. Even the R34 GT-ST's.
That'd be a good price in America. No idea there. A similar car would fetch a couple grand more here.
I think that's roughly the same you would pay in america, after exchange rates and all that stuff of course.
What? No, I mean after changeover, you'd pay more here. I'm not one of those people who are all "lol all currencies 1:1 exchange rate with USD". After changeover it's around $8,500. Here, FDs go for 10k+
that's an awesome price, i'd buy it.
My saturday is actually ruined already. I get a text from my buddy's girlfriend with "The tests came back.. positive" -- My buddy is going to be a father... at 17.
abortion?
So I went to my local audio shop for some R&R on my remote start. I was following a group of traffic, ahead of the pack was a Overnight 18 wheeler. I was kinda wondering why everyone started braking. :v: skip to 0:52
