snap oversteer is a bitch when you're a show off who really, really doesn't know how to drive
I love all the spectators saying they would've stayed on it.
You know, because when you hammer down it's going to magically straighten out.

well, when you induce oversteer with the liberal application of throttle then continue to steer into the corner while simultaneously letting off the throttle.. your ass tends to come right around on you because the rear end grabs and (especially if you're steering into the corner) just pivots around your front wheels - thus snap or lift-off oversteer. it's real common with RWD cars, when the ass end steps out and they go into panic mode they just let off the gas which is exactly what you shouldn't do in that situation
if you stay on the gas and counter steer, your ass end will stay where it should be.. behind you (assuming you know what you're doing). alternatively, you just don't buy a car with 500+ horsepower to the rear wheels and then think you know how to drive it
What? No, I mean after changeover, you'd pay more here. I'm not one of those people who are all "lol all currencies 1:1 exchange rate with USD".
After changeover it's around $8,500. Here, FDs go for 10k+
...that's what I meant...??

The exchange rate is about 1.25:1 between Euro/uh...British Pounds and USD
Last I checked. It's been a while.

Even an auto FD is around 10k here unless it's pretty beat. I haven't seen many under that unless it was a shell or destroyed.

Jesus FDs are expensive

On a side note, this meh shell with a Vortec 6.0 and autotragic is really cheap

But I doubt it's there anymore.

oh god my battery is definitely dying
my car sat for 5 days and then it was so weak on charge it was turning over for like 8 seconds - with that lovely, sluggish sounding turnover - before it finally started.
Guess a 16 year old battery isn't meant to last long.

Then I met the Mary character in the old Nissan Skyline ads back in the day. If it were not for them, the Skyline would have not continued to this day:

Basically lots of different cars with amazing engines. Datsun trucks with RB26 turbos, 86 Corollas, lots and lots of rotary RX's. Couple of Toyota Supras/Celicas and 2000GT's. Funny thing I noticed was that they did not invite any Hondas at all. Fun day if it weren't so blazing hot
You know your friends dont fish when they can fuck a rod up in 10 minutes.

but like
I've had tangles on the rod itself because the hook will swing around the rod, but actually having that kind of tangle in the spool. What the hell.
Also, how much should I spend on a battery? I feel like the $200 ones are just too much for a basic old car like mine, but I don't want to skimp either. I feel like $100 is the magic range.
This was the one I was looking at getting, since the O'Reilly nearby is literally within walking distance:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/SSBG/24REXTJ/07053.oap?year=1996&make=Honda&model=Prelude&vi=1170155&ck=Search_C0423_1170155_3679&pt=C0423&ppt=C0005
Says it's compatible with my car (as you can see in the URL) and one of the guys who works there owns a Prelude and can probably give me a second opinion. But i'm still not sure the premo batteries are worth the extra dosh.
I learned the hard way about skimping on batteries. I bought one of those $65 batteries from Walmart, completely crapped out on me within half a year. I was out of town while this happened and my mom decided to go to the Toyota dealership and have them put in a $210 battery ("made for the car", won't crap out, blah blah blah) when I had a free replacement on the Walmart one.
Oh well.

Yes but no. They all have the brain matter to fish with a big boy rod but apparently do not have the matter to ask if they have never used that type of rod before.
On the bright side, got a sick photo of the sunset

I don't know of any shit like that here, though.
