Hey Bradley, since we're on topic of insurance, how are yours?
Because I know that here, anything Honda and 2 door = high insurance.
$12 a month, me and my dad split insurance since we run the shop together (he runs shit, my name's on everything, I handle the money) and we get it really cheap because he's on there and old as fuck. :v
Oh, well that is a really nice price.
It is, considering we have a lot of vehicles on it. But I don't think me or my dad have ever filed any claims... So that helps.
Well having clean records surely helps, after all, claims are what makes your insurance raise.
12 a month? Good god

For shit's in giggles and being able to talk with friend's going down the road taking a road trip.
I'm fucking loving my 1987 Bronco II, ridiculously comfortable, heats up quickly, and gets great mileage for an SUV. I'm getting 18-19 city and 24-25 highway. Excellent as fuck for a 25 year old 2.9L V6.
You mean 4.9 liters bro? :P
It's a 5.0. If they called it a 4.9 people would confuse it with the 4.9L inline six Ford offered, and in doing so flock to the Camaro. It'd also be crazy confusing in the trucks where the I6 was the base engine and the V8 was the base V8.
By calling it a 5.0 this is avoided.

nice, nice. Bet it's a bit underpowered, but that MPG is great, and it will be good in the snow too, assuming snow is a concern for you.

It is powered fine for anything I'd need it for, I haven't had a chance to give it a go in 4h yet here in MI, we keep getting freezing rain and sleet but no actual snow.

You know I'm just playing bro, I love the five point slow.
Also, jeez, Testicle face acting like I don't know why they call it a 5.0. ಠ_ಠ
I pay around $350 a month for insurance
I pay $180 a month on insurance. 2012 Ford Focus, with it in my dads name :P
I finally go to go to the dmv to take my license test today for the first time. I've been able to get it for 5 months now, and haven't had the opportunity to take the test because my mom doesn't care enough to get on the ball. Naturally though, we didn't get there until 10am, so they were no longer testing.

I put it down as 1 years no claims.
I don't actually have any no claims as of yet, because I could still crash between now and when they're due. Which is soon...
New driver with just over a year on my record. $110/month. Driving '93 Prelude SR (Si)

Wait, so in America they only do tests before 10AM?
Wait, so in America they only do tests before 10AM?
I was wondering this too. Here, they do road tests from 10am-4pm. Basically, while they are open because they close at 5pm and depending on the road test, it can take up to an hour.

Here they're rediculously anal about driving test times.
Here you choose out of a range of selected times.
I had mine booked for 11:11.
Just before the test, my examiner told "...ok so the test will be 42 minutes, however depending on certain circumstances, the test my be 43 minutes long."
Ridiculous I know, however, I spent over 20 minutes doing my parallel park (you have to stop for ANYTHING REMOTELY IN THE SAME STREET AS YOU). The benefit? I'm pretty sure that's how I passed!
The rest of the time, I was in traffic. He didn't get chance to fail me! :D
Wait, so in America they only do tests before 10AM?
For the most part, at least where i live. Usually you have to get there by 7am if you really want a chance of getting it. That's the only hard part about getting your license here; getting up there in time.
Here, your chance of passing/failing depends on how anal the driving instructor is. Too bad most instructors here are butch lesbians that loathe the very existence of your soul

That sounds about right. I had this really angry blonde lady, she wasn't mean but she was just stone-cold. It was like talking to a robot. Of course, I failed because some truck going 50km/h in the 10-20km/h start zone came around the corner out of nowhere and I had to slam the brakes. Slamming the brakes was an auto-fail. Guess I should of just swerved in front of him.
The next time, I got this really nice lady. I was rolling down a hill and I didn't want to ride the brakes so I accidentally hit 35km/h in a school zone but quickly dropped my speed back down to 30km/h. At the end of the test she was like "I saw you getting up in speed in the school zone but I didn't notice you hitting 35km/h so I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and give you a pass."
That chick was awesome. The rest of the test went perfect, I had like 1 or 2 ticks on my entire test and the test consists of multiple sections where you are allowed around 6-7 ticks for each.
