Sad part is, I'm not even lying. He's 31 and he doesn't even own a car yet, he relies on his wife because he spends his money on drugs and alcohol. When he overheard his little sister -who's 22 now- owns a first car, and a 240sx too; he flips out and starts getting mad jelly over it. She keeps being called dumb, idiot, stupid, dumbass just for a car that needs a tuneup. What, she needs new drive belts. What, an oil change and filter? New basic brake pads and rotors? A coolant flush? All the other parts that need changing have already been accounted for, we have all the parts right in the trunk of the car ready for them to be installed. They're all blaming me that it was all my idea. Goodness forbid my race, religion and dignity be criticized for someone else' taste for vehicular chairs. DAMN
dude, we are all dorfito crew here, let's gather to roll our motorized chair toward the knees of this fucker. AA legion we are full of chairs
But are they V8 powered rocking chairs?
dude, shiban, slap that dude. fucking retarded people.
a 31 year old man harassing and threatening his little sister because he's jealous of an S chassis? what a fucking loser
speaking of the beetle though, how difficult is it really to pull into/out of a tight parking space without power steering? i'm kinda scared that once i get the beetle i won't be able to drive it well, or drive a stick (but i have faith i can quickly learn a stick, the steering thing still worries me)
maneuvering a bug in tight spaces is no problem. it's light and has a big ass steering wheel, at a dead stand still you have to apply yourself a little but as long as you're moving - even if it's just a very slow crawl - the wheels turn easy as easy, for the most part i can just lazily steer my bug with my fingers even at low speeds with little problem. don't forget, the Beetle was built to be driven, whether by strong, young folk or little old ladies trying to go down to the store and get groceries. While it doesn't have modern conveniences, it is still VERY easy to drive.
Wow. My girlfriend's brother is tripping out that my GF bought a car, (a 240sx too mind you). He won't quit calling her and telling her that she made a horrible mistake with an old car. Keeps telling her you bought a broken car. He's really jealous that she bought a car, a car that he so sought after. He's so mad that he's threatening to come over here to smash her car. He's also messing with the car's registration because he's THAT jealous. I told my GF he might change the title to salvage; its a clean title and a clean car. What a dick really I feel bad
Looks like we've found our Darwin Award Winner 2012
no it was actually this guy who went around stealing stop signs in his pickup truck he got in his truck to go home, blew through an intersection that used to have a stop sign but he stole it so he didnt see the stop sign and was assploded by a truck he died good riddance
Emissions failed: incomplete test Notes: Short exhaust lolwut? The fatass who told me looked pretty sad when i laughed in his fucking face ''err escuse me serr you have a short exhawst pipe and we cent inspect you'' So now I'm seriously contemplating just taking the fucking stickers off
what what does that even mean
If you want a 4 door SVO, turbo a volvo. Hey, very similar 2.3L 8v Turbocharged Engines, with some of the parts being interchangeable.
I wouldn't call that a 4 door SVO, but it would be a 4 door brick with an engine similar to the SVO. There's a video on Youtube of a guy who did a DOHC Volvo head swap on the pinto/lima block and biturbo'd it. Thing was a beast, but apparently it's pretty hard to keep that head/block combo togehter, and a lot of machine work needs done.
a 31 year old man harassing and threatening his little sister because he's jealous of an S chassis? what a fucking loser
I dunno, man, they're pretty damn awesome cars. I understand envy, but when it gets to the degree it's at right now it's not an appreciation of the car, it's downright being fucking pathetic.
See you next summer...
I have to do that too very soon :(
Me too, with the Benz, sadly. Still though, the place it'll be stored over winter is like a hanger inside, so I can sometimes fire it up and roll it a bit around in there so it doesn't sit. don't care about the tires though, cheap nankang stuff that are already deformed due to it standing still for a bit.
and I have nowhere to put my car so it gets to sit in the snow all winter
I have to do that too very soon :(
please tell me it's not the bug
and I have nowhere to put my car so it gets to sit in the snow all winter
I have the same issue. #MinnesotaProblems
please tell me it's not the bug
Of course it's the bug I'm not gonna kill it with road salt
I have the same issue. #MinnesotaProblems
yeah but your car isn't a small 2 door that is going to be literally impossible to drive once it snows not because its fwd but because the snow banks will be so damn high and i won't be able to move the car after it snows
please tell me it's not the bug
ohdear, I don't think any bugs are going to like heavy road salt / snow.
yeah but your car isn't a small 2 door that is going to be literally impossible to drive once it snows not because its fwd but because the snow banks will be so damn high and i won't be able to move the car after it snows
My winter car is a tiny two-door fwd hatchback You make it sound like they have a problem in snow. Fwd is better than rwd on slippery surface (when you want to get anywhere, not to have fun obviously)
Hearts for everyone <3
i have no other car to drive and i need to drive every day so nope my benz will stay on the road
Of course it's the bug I'm not gonna kill it with road salt
I thought if you rinsed it with water like once a week it would be fine [editline]27th September 2012[/editline] fuck man don't tell me this now, we use road salt like crazy here I have no problem buying something to help the salt problem or rinsing it but if you're saying that won't work :(
I thought if you rinsed it with water like once a week it would be fine [editline]27th September 2012[/editline] fuck man don't tell me this now, we use road salt like crazy here I have no problem buying something to help the salt problem or rinsing it but if you're saying that won't work :(
I'm no expert on the salt area (and I won't drive the Benz around in it), however if you really want to drive it in winter, you should probably wash it at least once every day. That salt literally eats the car if it sits there for long enough - having it on for a week, then washed off, then it'll all be back within a day and it'll sit with salt all over it for 6 days. It'll rust like damn.
I thought if you rinsed it with water like once a week it would be fine [editline]27th September 2012[/editline] fuck man don't tell me this now, we use road salt like crazy here I have no problem buying something to help the salt problem or rinsing it but if you're saying that won't work :(
Lol, I'm not driving an old Beetle through 1 meter of snow in -20C degrees. It just doesn't work. Rinsing off with water might work but where should I get that water from? The water hose will be solid as soon as the temperature reaches 0 which it will very soon. It's just not good enough anyway. The salt goes everywhere and will be impossible to get it all away simply by rinsing off with water.
Don't you have that stuff that usually is used on the bottom of cars for rust prevention
My friend decided to stop driving his VW GTI Turbo so that he can buy this POS civic for $300 and fix it up..
Don't you have that stuff that usually is used on the bottom of cars for rust prevention
Yes but my Beetle is clean and I shall keep it that way. It has never been driven during winter and I do not intend to change that
Don't you have that stuff that usually is used on the bottom of cars for rust prevention
I have PAVA / Dinitrol on mine, however they are still far from redundant to road salt. They're old cars, they don't like cold weather and cry when they see salt.
