so, Ford Fiesta vs Mazda 2 vs Toyota Yaris vs Honda Fit vs Fiat 500 vs Scion IQ
Ill be buying a new car in a few months, US versions just to help out and still cant decide, ive been able to test drive a few and they are all so likeable.
Mazda 2, Ford Fiesta, or Honda Fit.
Fiesta is the best kitted out AFAIK and the most comfortable.
Mazda 2 is supposedly the most fun to drive, and AFAIK the cheapest.
Honda Fit will never break down. :v:
In the next week or so, we will put down the final payment on the goat and have it rolled up here.
CAN'T
FUCKING
WAIT
Focus over the Fiesta in my opinion. Should'nt be that much more money!
My friend needs help fixing his T5 for his Mustange SVT.
It's the third tranny that it's been through.
He needs to know how to get the input shaft out, apparently there is a small nipple or something keeping him from getting it out.
Out of those I'd personally say either the Fiesta or 500...The 500 is small as a mother fucker but has a certain "tang" to it, sorta like the old minis or something...I kinda like it.

Even though it isn't listed, check out the new Rio too. That or the Fiesta. Both are good.
The 500 is Expensive.

do you know if it's a 5.0 or a 4.6? ford didn't use the T5 for 4.6 mustangs.
94-95 = t5
96-98 = t45
Does anyone know how to remove the dash ac vents from a 92-96 F-150? Thanks.
I'm not sure how you would get the passenger ones out, but the driver's vents are piss easy. Pull the dash pad off, which is held on by about six to eight screws by the windshield and four or five under the lip by the dash itself, then pull the trim from below the column off, then unscrew the cluster. The remaining plastic comes off in one big chunk, and that contains the vents you seek.
I've had the dash off of my '85 so often it's burned into muscle memory, and structurally speaking it's identical to your 92-96.
So, My AC Pump is officially shot. Both the compressor and the clutch. I dont want to fix it but, I dont want to hear it running.. (making noise)

Get a belt for non-AC. Go to an auto parts store and snag one, get a wrench for your tensioner bolt, slap it on. It's easy :D
Baha, my friend's 2004 Kia Rio has a faulty knock sensor (Recurring P0325) and sounds like a old diesel(Loud ticking/knocking). So I assume floating valves / lifters clattering / rod knock / rockers tickings. We did the plug test, no differences to either cylinder.

Get a long extension or screwdriver, start the engine, and place the screwdriver against various spots. It will act as a stethoscope. Place your ear on one end, then put the other end on the following places:
Each spark plug
Each intake port
Each exhaust port
Seam between block and oil pan beneath each intake or exhaust port, whichever is easiest to access.
You'll be able to hear quite clearly where the noise is coming from, as the knocking will be the loudest when you're closest to the source. Oh, and if it sounds like an old diesel it doesn't have a faulty knock sensor. The sensor is reporting a knock in the engine and functioning correctly. It's just too dumb to tell what part of the engine is making the racket.
Got my city-Vic back today. Had a spark plug go completely bad. Which, I had guessed from the start because it was missing and running shit. Along with the flashing CEL, either Plugs or Coils

Unfortunately the drivers vents are different, they are not next to the cluster, they are in fact located near your knees, at the same height of the passenger vents, so that the manufacturer could use just one type of vent. Thanks for the help though.

Huh. Odd they changed that. Maybe it's because my AC was an option that was added by the dealers, so the vents are placed on either side of the cluster.

why is the conksuck turn signal going so fast fuck
You've probably got a bulb blown somewhere that's shorting itself out. If the bulbs are good, look for dirt or corrosion in one of the connectors, and if that's good I'd start suspecting the relay itself.
For the free car fax on 4chan that concur posted its 100% legit, here is mine

I'm the maybe the fifth owner, first report being in 2000-2005 when it was probably parked for 3 years in Wetaskawin, then in 2008 it was sold to a guy in Leduc who used for 4 months before selling it to a guy in Grand Prairie. Month later it was either sold or the guy moved to Sherwood Park, then the guy I got it from bought it and registered it in 2009 with 216,000Km, drove it for a year up to 224500 then I bought it in 2011. Pretty cool, all the stuff checks out, seems like its had some good owners. Might consider getting a Car-fax as they are more centered around Canada.
Oooh, good. Let's see what turns up on my mom's new Explorer.
