those poor seats
I'm actually happy he kept the OEM seat covers on. They keep the leather in pristine condition. I'm going to be taking the seat covers off though ;)

Welp my Civic shat on me, at Jap's house as soon as I pulled up. Probably saw his piece of a CRX and didn't want to live anymore. Kidding, of course. Today was a pretty shit day Hopefully tomorrow goes better, have a deal I'm working on a car that I'm hoping to get. It's some black and yellow Chevrolet or something :v: [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] c:
My truck is insured so I can drive it now, kick ass. Also I've recent become enveloped in the world of hard tail choppers, found this on kijiji and I'm thinking I can convince my parts to meet up with the guy I could buy it as It is in my price range. http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-touring-1981-Honda-CB650-Project-Bike-Bobber-650-00-or-Best-Offer-W0QQAdIdZ357610447 Even if I end up selling it can make an easy $400 from it. Would love to get it done up like this: [thumb]http://www.bikeexif.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/wrenchmonkees_triumph.jpg[/thumb]
Some how we just got like 3" of snow dumped on us so I took the car out for some slides! I left when it had just dusted the ground and by the time I got back my bumper was plowing it.. They'd look fucking awesome powdercoated white. Also, the burnout could use some work, barely made any smoke at all. Needs less camber and more throttle. Definitely faster once it's put back together.
Worst. Rims. Ever. Lost the neon green paint and they'd be nice. But as they are they're horribad, you can probably see them from space. In broad daylight.
If you mount your engine solid or rigid, prepare to not have any interior bits -- the ones that don't shake loose you will remove after the squeaking/creaking drives you batshit crazy.
everybody and their mom has white, bronze, or black wheels fluorescent colors are awesome
There's a reason everyone and their mom has white, bronze or black wheels. Fluorescent ones look awful and distract other motorists. The rims in that video, as I said earlier, would look fucking awesome if they were a more normal color. A matte white powdercoat would be best with that body color IMO. Besides, all rims turn brown over time anyways. Yours, mine, his, all of them.
Also, the burnout could use some work, barely made any smoke at all. Needs less camber and more throttle.
I'm not just saying this. Rotary. Low Horsepower and torque unless you turbo it out the ass. Always gets less MPG than a modern V8, while still having way less power.

Always gets less MPG than a modern V8, while still having way less power.
Considering I heard a turbine spool when he did that burnout, it is turbo'd out the ass. I'm well aware of the shortfalls of a wankel, but that car should have been able to do a smokier burnout than that. I've seen videos of box stock RX7s doing much smokier burnouts. The turbo was louder than the engine it was attached to, where's all that boost going?
It's not a real turbo, it's just a loudspeaker nailed into the frame. I've actually had an Integra with one of those try to race me, funny shit.
>burnout wasn't smokey >it's the car, definitely not the tires Aside from that, quoted insurance on my Civic and the Corvette to compare the two to my dad Civic: $63 a month liability Corvette: $52 a month liability I'm okay with this.
I'm looking at getting this 525iA to replace my old GMC Sierra next week- http://www.carsoup.com/Tulsa/vehicle/detail.aspx?vehicleid=16425028&rdt=4
Hnng, gas prices jumped from 1,304$/L to 1,394$/L (5,28$/Gal) today. What a good fucking surprise.
People, take my advice. When you need more smoke, bleach the tires.
even better, people, take my advice. When you don't smoke those tyres, they'll last longer! tyres are expensives :(
even better, people, take my advice. When you don't smoke those tyres, they'll last longer! tyres are expensives :(
That's why you buy used tires for when you want to do a burnout.

How do you figure all this anyways? You ever ridden in one? Sure it gets less MPG, but not by much, at all. In fact i get more MPG's than my dads ram does. And i can still keep up with him in a drag. I know you take pride in your car, that's fine, and really good. But RX-7's aren't fast unless you spend tens of thousands in mods. Brand New, your era of RX-7 hit 60 in 7.7 seconds, that is backed up by Mazda, the very people who made the car. The 93-95 era ones are capable of being competitive with todays V6, Turbocharged Inline-4 sports sedans. But certainly not V8 pony or sports cars.
