Hammered down around a sharp curve in our town and then went full retard full lock counter steer and spun us out, manaed to not break ajything
Anyone got any tips for driving on mountain roads in winter? Got a three hour drive this Friday going pretty far into the mountains
Power over braking.
Power over braking.
I'll have a car full of people so noty
That's why he wanted it. Because the REW had "Too much power".
Seriously, the only swaps I've ever seen done to an RX-7 (at least, in person) are LS swaps, and even then not only are they frowned upon, but they are done to achieve even MORE horsepower. This miata shit...It's embarrassing frankly.

If i ever saw him in person I'd probably give him a nice gut shot for being such a pussy...And I'm not just saying that because i drive an rx-7 either
good reason to shoot someone with a gun man
good reason to shoot someone with a gun man
Because giving him a gut shot means shooting him with a gun...Seriously? You live in the US according to that flag, and yet you know nothing about the English language?
It means to PUNCH HIM IN THE GUT. I didn't think it would be hard for everyone to understand...

Yeah, I'm gonna go kill someone because they did an engine swap i don't like, brb.

Also this is about the 3rd time I've seen that video, it's amazing how long the F22 held up.

i'm starting to hate this bike
Nothing gets my spirits up like getting money to put in my gas tank when my gas light is on.
He probably threw off the weight distribution on top of ruining the performance.
What a shame.
I bet my friend's V6 Pathfinder can beat it in a drag race.
Actually, The BP is lighter than a 13B.
Im not sure where this delusion of the wankel being light comes from, its cast iron. This is coming from someone who loves Wankels and Mazdas.
This is exactly why so many people are starting to put LS engine in Miatas and RX7s, not only is it a bigger more powerful engine with lots of aftermarket support, but its actually lighter than the cast iron bricks Mazda was using.
Like I was telling Turke yesterday, the LS1 is only 25~ pounds heavier than a KA24DE in a 240SX as well.
That's like being lazy and gaining some weight for a month then going for a drive but your car instantly having 210 extra horsepower (KA being 140~ LS1 being 350~).
Holy shit at the conversation you and the jackal got into recently. His posts made my head hurt from the lunacy of his ideas and how backwards his facts were.
Yeah well, I'll let him believe what he wants.
We'll see where he ends up with his ideas, right?
A cop was following me for about a mile and a half today. Worst mile and a half I've ever driven, considering my temp plates expired a month ago

Considering on how i can lift the 13b in my garage myself and we needed a cherry picker to lift up the LS engine i had in my truck and then two-three people just to roll it around on the garage floor, i somehow don't really believe you.
And i rated disagree because the Irons are cast iron. The rotor housings and almost everything else actually IS aluminum. And the wankel being light isn't a delusion at all, it's light as a mother fucker. This is coming from a 13b rotary rebuildee in progress as well as a mazda rx7 driver.
I agree with the wankel having almost no aftermarket support and not being INCREDIBLY powerful however, especially compared to a piston engine, but that's to be expected.

Still a fun mother fucking car to drive though, and I'd take the sound of a thousand angry bees over the sound of a gutless and silent-fart-tastic sounding v8 any day. (both stock) V8's are nice when they have big-ass RV or racing cams and shit in them but just stock with a flowmaster is boring...Stock 13b with a full header-back borla/racingbeat exhaust is sex to my ears.

They normally dont pull you over for petty stuff like that unless they think something else is up. Also, get new plates you arse. One month, cmon.
I love how silky smooth wankels are to rev.
Welp, chalked up about $214.14 worth of shit I need. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, and this isn't including the $50 head I'm buying. Might go down to OKC this weekend to fetch the head and get it checked out, and then pull the block and tear it down to get it ready for the build.
When i get a job and some money, you're going to have to help me build up a motor for my car.
I am absolutely having the worst luck ever.
:(
I swear I hooked up everything, perfect everything, and now my whole cluster is almost dead.
And now it works, loose wire...

You need to come hang out one weekend, since you're so fucking close anyways.
What are you doing on the 17th? My friend Collin is coming up from Mcalester with his C5 and it'd be cool to have a little get-together.
I still haven't gone to the DMV to get my license, otherwise i would. I also haven't gone on the highway, period. It's not that i am afraid to drive on it, i'm just afraid i am going to go on there alone without my license, and not know exactly how it works and need to ask for tips, but i won't have anyone to tell me what to do and a cop stops me for driving like a dumb ass.
Saying it just makes me feel like a huge loser now :(. I've been able to get it since October of last year. Things are hectic around here for my parents so they never have time to take me, and i haven't been persistent enough to make it their top priority(I'm sure there has been a time in the last several months, i just don't ask enough).
I still go places all of the time and drive like i would with my license (minus the freeway), i just have to sweat it out when i see a cop, and can't speed as often as i'd like. Google maps says it's a 102 mile drive to Kellyville, that would take approximately 1 hour and 41 minutes on toll roads.
Shouldn't drive without your licenses honestly. Don't know if it's like up here down there, but when you are caught driving without them, the consequences are never the same after-wise.
Well we will be meeting in Sapulpa most likely. Although if it was early enough in the day it'd be at my shop... pretty sure we'll be at my shop until like 10 though because my friend doesn't get off work for a while.
Anyways, someday you need to come down.
They normally dont pull you over for petty stuff like that unless they think something else is up. Also, get new plates you arse. Who knows, maybe i'll get to the DMV before then. I went ahead and ordered a mount for my phone so i can use the gps on it if i need to, and a usb adapter for my car plug to plug it in.
