when my gf saw that avatar she thought it was one light winking
Isn't it?
Ok, something incredibly stupid just happened. I slid my car in the rain by accident, straightened it out, then the side curtain airbags deployed and the seatbelt pretentioners fired. Wtf. It was a 2005 Envoy Denali. I didn't hit anything, it was essentially a small drift in a parking lot. The roof is popped out and the seatbelts don't work anymore. I think GMC should have to fix it, what do you think?
My car has been popping and spitting flames loads, 4-2-1 to decat to loud backbox. Its quite loud.. as in everyone turns round and thinks "twat" haha

The front left U-joint on my explorer is starting to lock up. I changed the right one a year or so ago because it jammed and would twist the steering drastically when I turned. The right one is just popping a lot when it turns.
>no long tube headers found yet well then. [editline]25th March 2012[/editline] $200 worth it lol.

Either that or your side impact accelerometer is FAR too sensitive and mistook regaining traction for hitting something. Either way, should be on GMC to fix it.

They should fix it, they might argue you shouldn't have slid in the first place?
I need to get a throatier header on my jeep
There's some diesel 4x4 which drives around with what sounds like a full stainless system, sounds good! i'll upload my videos to youtube
http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/2921645973.html He "drove" over a curb in his Miata, fucking up the suspension.
I've never understood how the material the pipes are made of can affect the sound..it doesn't does it?
Stainless steel piping has NO effect on tone, volume or anything related to the sound of an exhaust system. Two identical exhaust systems, but one made of stainless steel, will sound exactly alike. Stainless steel is only used for rust protection. Cheaper stainless lasts 8-10 years, high grade marine stainless lasts 20+ years.
I'm only presuming lol Anyway here's a couple of quick sound videos, they don't sound as good as it does normally..
I kind of want a 240, but all the cheap ones(under 2 grand) don't run, have body damage or both. :\ [editline]25th March 2012[/editline] ohhey http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2921602514.html [editline]25th March 2012[/editline] Actually, but automatic. :\ http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2917230080.html
What probably happened is your computers went ape shit (Refering to GMC issue). Sounds like your slide the computer thought the rain was the ground or something (Rain hit the car that hard?) and the G's you produced made it look like a roll. IMO faulty computing cause saying this it also means kicking your car would have set it off.

I took it to the dealership but the service center was closed. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to talk to them. What was really weird was the electrical system went completely haywire afterwords...I couldn't turn the radio off, the interior lights were stuck on, and it kept making weird bongs. This is fucking annoying because I was planning on taking this car to the beach this coming Friday. RAGE.
Maybe the rain got into your Electrical components?
I was on a photosession with a supercharged Z06 today, and it blew the driveshaft because it couldnt handle the power. I recorded a video as it happens, illupload it tomorrow, but heres a pic! the poor z06 :(
Maybe the rain got into your Electrical components?
I don't know how that could've happened though. That seems like a stupid problem to have......
3 of us slept in my car for 6 hours and the moisture in the air caused the dashboard's on-board processor and the immobiliser to go nuts. Turned the key On the screen (From what I remember): "ENGINE TEMPERATURE, STOP ENGINE" (Erm, the engine aint even running) "ABS FAILURE" "OIL PRESSURE FAILURE" "IMMOBILISER FAULT" Engine management light on Indicators didn't work car wouldn't start (Due to immobiliser fault, I found it hard to believe that everything on my car broke at once, hah) Central locking iffy All sorts of beeping Left it for a few hours and it started up, still no speedometer (Everything is on an LCD display on this car), Indicators worked but the dash said they didn't (No clicking or flashing). When I got home (After using my phone as a speedometer with a downloaded app!) I took the digital dash out and put it in the warmest room of the house overnight. Car worked perfect the next morning. Amazing what hell a bit of moisture can cause, I was going to call the AA for recovery (I was 200 Miles from home)
New fangled cars and their iffy sensors and computerey shit. I prefer the kind of car where if it doesn't start, you crawl under it with a hammer and start hitting things.

I love that car, its so simple yet elegant.

Welp I sold my old car to a coworker and now the brake line is busted after a week. fuck
Brake lines are piss cheap :v:
Brake lines are piss cheap :v:
idk the dude got it evaluated it got to like 600$ idk where it could be done cheap tho
idk the dude got it evaluated it got to like 600$
Well garage will charge quite a bit. Is it the rear or front brake line? Master-cylinder? If you know. The stainless piping used in some part of the brake line is about 0,14$ a foot and the fittings are about 3$ each, the hoses in the front calipers are about 20-50$.
