Sure the steelies are rusted and the hubcaps are kinda bent, but I don't see how it looks like a junk car other than that. Oh and a wheel well cover is missing, but you've gotta be attentive for that :v:
Yeah, i think the limit for front windows in FL is like 28% but can I get away with 15%. I mean I dont think the cops care?
They don't pull you over for it AFAIK, but they will write it up if you get pulled over for something else.
Needed better gas mileage then 8MPG, have 4x4, and still not rob me. The price for this one was too good. I would have liked an Explorer but oh well.. this car is fun to fuck around with because of those tires
Better than 8mpg and 4x4, and you bought a blazer? :v:
Passing people is so much better with a manual transmission

So after 150 thousand miles the transmission on our Jeep Wrangler finally gave out. Estimated repair cost is about 4,000USD. Welp, there goes getting it painted.
So my parents are now considering not letting me have a V8 Mustang because I'll kill myself... I'm not getting a non V8 Stang. My second option would be something with 4x4. They ok'd a Jeep Wrangler :v:
my dad said he'd be impressed if i managed to kill myself in the mustang considering how little power it has lmao
a car doesn't have to have quick acceleration to be killed in.
Yeah, plenty of people get killed in Civics. :v:
yep
I'd be the killer, i'd go over most of these cars :v:
anyone know what the average "city" MPG for a 1985, 1986, and 1996 Firebird/Trans Am is? I think they might be a good choice for a first car, but I'm really looking for the MPG. I live in a small town and would have to drive a good 20+ minutes to even reach a highway, lol

If economy is what you seek, and fun to drive is mandatory, a Miata, S2k or the like is what you need to be looking for. Doesn't matter.
The Firebird is considered a muscle car?
The Firebird is considered a muscle car?
Throaty V8 in the front, poor handling, able to liquify it's rears on command, simple as the pavement it rolls on....yup. Muscle car. Checks every box.
a car doesn't have to have quick acceleration to be killed in.
A man doesn't have to be in a car to get killed. GM innovation at its finest. :v:
>what's the MPG for a firebird >here's all the V8 ones They made a four banger firebird back in the day, same body style as the 85-86, that generation. It got 29 highway! Plus it was the Iron Duke, the bossest of four bangers. It was used in Jeeps until Chrysler bought AMC! The V6 firebird from 93-97 got 28 highway, only one worse, but it's also a lot faster than the Duke. So it wins by default. I always wanted a 3rd gen Camaro with the Iron Duke. I thought it'd be hilarious to have a 4 cylinder muscle car.
a car doesn't have to have quick acceleration to be killed in.
it was just a joke because my mom was like "aren't you worried about him killing himself with that much power" or something i don't remember it was like two years ago but i remember it was funny i might not be transmitting the funny correctly im sorry
Well while we're on the topic of 80s T/A's, saw one today and something about how wide the tires were with the higher ground clearence, it just looked so badass. I still want one. With that same note, I almost kind of don't want a new car so I can work my way to a new car. I wanna get the 80s trans am and then get that 70 442 [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] And what the fuck, this can't be real http://treasure.craigslist.org/cto/2943394461.html

For fucks sake. My insurance company, instead of cancelling the renewal, have cancelled the policy on the 3rd of April. I've been driving around for the past 4 days without insurance and my new insurance doesn't come into effect until the 20th, FUCKJsdilghsdlkhnfvs.
just don't go doing stupid shit and you'll be fine
Well they wouldn't reinstate the insurance, so I've had to phone my new insurance (That was due to start when this one ran out) and have them start it from today. £64 admin fee. I'm going to get that money out of my past company for cancelling the policy without my permission, Financial ombudsman here I come (Assuming they are the right ones to go to). I could have been out of some work today if I couldn't get it sorted.
