You know those little tree-shaped air fresheners? A few minutes ago I realized that they say "car freshner". I always assumed it was "car freshener", mind blown

4 out of 5? Now you know what the other 1 was thinking.
Buy some try it, to each there own prefences. I prefer Ceder Wood, Gives it a homey smell.
someone needs to post that black ice picture... you know the one if you have it :v:
What are you guy's views on fully digital dashboards.. I want one so badly. (mostly because my gas gauge is so inaccurate.)
Do not want. I like the needles, and I like not needing electrical power to read oil pressure and water temp(They should be direct reading, even though they almost never are).
I will say it was nice to be able to switch from Metric to Standard with the touch of a button though. The '94 Shitvan my mom bought had an all-digital dash, and I would ALWAYS put it on KPH just to drive her nuts. :v:
My cupholders are awesome, pretty much all cup sizes fit
I don't have any at all. The ones I get are the ones that are designed to clip into the door between the window and the seal(The only car the arm is long enough to do this on was made in the 40s I think, even my door skins are too thick).
They almost inevitably end up crushed, so I buy another one. They're only like two bucks a pop at Pilot :v:
WE GOIN 100 RITE NOW DOWN THE HIGHWAY MAUMA
So after buying my first car, driving it ALL weekend, and then coming back to college and leaving it at home, I've already experienced separation anxiety :v:
Going home this weekend for a work-related thing, but it means I'll get some time to pour loving into it. Might see a few pictures in the Pictures of Your Lawnmowers thread.
Anyways, does anyone have any waxing tips? Anything that works specifically well for you?

Video of the coronet with me in it along with some pansy revving. Trying not to smile the entire time but the car always gets me.
I love solid motor mounts, feeling the whole car shake and turn when you idle rev it, so much better than others. When it had the 440 it would set off car alarms, can't wait to see what this engine does.

Cant tell if joking or serious.
I'm pissed. My girl watched a movie that had a 70 challenger that the main character was driving. Then I watch green lantern right now and main character drives 70 challenger.

The only clear-coat left on my truck is in the door jambs. The rest of it is long gone, paint faded, and in a few places even gone entirely. The primer spots aren't large, no one is larger than a half dollar, but they're there. There's also four ovals in the very front of the hood where the paint AND primer are gone, leaving little rust spots.
Could be worse I suppose. At least it's still got most of it's paint left. The '96 Van doesn't even have that much, the paint is literally flaking off in chunks. If it's a windy day you can actually stand out there and watch it shed it's paint. GG, Dodge.
I feel the need to buy accessories for my car, anyone have any recommendations? I have 41 dollars to spend on said accessories
Unnecessary 'V8' & 'TwinTurbo' badges.
Holy fuck, If this car stays avaiable for the next two weeks It's literally mine.
2003 Crown Vic with Police Interceptor package. It's completely clean and carfax is perfect and literally saying it's worth over 6-7k. The original owners did regular maintenance on it so says the carfax. Body looks in great shape from pictures only one ding i could point out on back bumper. Can pick it up for 4k cash right out the door.
Whiter then me too, I like white cars when the body isn't fucked up. Gotta read the carfax cause looks like new headlights even from how clean they are. As much as i want a grand prix gtp a crown vic in this condition for that price You can't turn down.
So i got trouble with my car
Made a video, not the best quality .. but still ok

Lemme explain it, everytime i press the break and let it go, the engine revs to 900 - 950 and then it goes back to ~750 (almost dying) then back to normal (800 revs)
Anyone mind explaining me what is wrong ?

Nothing is really wrong. The brake booster is straining the engine, so it revs to maintain itself.
But it goes under 800 :/ That is why i was wondering
But it goes under 800 :/ That is why i was wondering
So does my Civic. What's the problem? ~650 is a nice flat idle when warmed up.
My Altima used to idle at almost 2000 rpm :v:
Changing the transmission fluid helped though, now it idles around 800-900

I LOVE 80'S DIGITAL DASH OMFG I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOU FGT
on a unrelated note I raced a c06 yesterday, Came up to its rear bumper and was feathering the thorttle waiting for it to go faster
on the idle note: 650-780 rpm in my case, the aggressive cams on stock ECU seem to make it fluctuate A LOT

Seriously, i dont get that. How is the brake booster connected with the engine itself ? and why does it do that ? that makes no sense
