Seriously, just because we were in WWI and WWII doesn't mean this will become a tripple-combo. WWI and WWII followed just in a short order and WWII just because our country were weakened after WWI and an idiot gained the control.
This is now totally impossible in Germany and when WWIII start, we would be one of the last countries joining (because of our bad history)
My guess it, if and only if there will be WWIII, it will be one or more threshold-countries or supermight. To the votes, only China, US and Russia fit but I also suggest North Korea (in combination with China). But if this happens, it will be ended really fast. Threatening nuclear-mights is not a good idea. That's why WWIII will most probably not happen.

Well; here is my theory.
Some US general who was pissed from the Iraq war got pissed because the US basically lost. The US hasn't won a war since a long, long time. So he makes a deal with a russian terrorist that'll shoot up an airport. He just ensures that an American CIA agent gets shot during the attack so Russia thinks the US is behind it. After that Russia invades the US and a small squad of American and British elite soldiers tries to stop the invasion but become internation fugitives

They don't hate each other. And being a country isn't the idea of EU. They could possibly have a fully cooperative army though.

And not to forget that world had a world-war not so long ago. People are kinda afraid of starting new war similar to WWII. There is of course some war-mongering exceptions, like North Korea. But I don't think that they intend to start a world-war.
