Speaking of stick shifts today began day 2 of me learning to drive stick in my dad's 1970 AMC Gremlin, I did much better today than I did last time.
Ffffff I want something to eat, but I'd have to walk to the nearest food place and I don't wanna go anywheeeeere. ;_;
I wait to learn to drive but its so expensive :( and alongside initial costs cars are super expensive with upkeep it sucks
i use my feet to get places except if it's really really far then i take the bus

What if it's farther than the bus goes
What if it's farther than the bus goes
i don't have the privelage of travelling that far yet
Tallahassee's much too spread out (not dense, but fucking HUGE) for me to walk.
So I had no choice but to get my license and a car, really, seeing as I don't live downtown and even if I did that wouldn't work out
Manual trannies are not hard to drive.
They can be it depends on if you start learning driving via manual or if you've already driven automatic for years
It was hard for me to learn after driving automatic for 2-3 years or so
Then again the car I learned had an engine with shitty compression, plus it was a 3-cyl so you had to time it perfect otherwise the car would jerk bad, stall (if at slow speed) and other things as the tiny engine couldn't handle nearly as much strain as you'd get with a 4cyl. Meanwhile my 4cyl is a breeze to drive shift simply because I don't have to be flawless in my timing because the engine can more than pick up the slack if I don't make a perfectly smooth shift.
I started driving manuals... My VX SS is auto... but I prefer manual. Less boring, more feel with the car
I don't like driving manuals, the shifting is just something more to worry about
I dunno man.
I dont remember what first tiem manual was like.. but whenever I get in to a new manual it takes me like 5 minutes to get used to the clutch and I stop thinking about it
I am still going to get my manual license, but im not going to bother to get a manual.
Its just a pain in the ass to drive and i would be using my car to get from A-B in the easiest possibly way
Manual all the way. Older 'n cheaper cars, in most cases, are manual-only and that's usually something you'll get as your first car.
I'd probably prefer automatic just because it's easier, but I do enjoy driving manual cars.
Is it bad if I've never driven manual once in my life?
Well in this country automatic is something that's still restricted to newer or more expensive cars, the vast majority are manual here.
Fucking 30 degrees... thank fuck I'm done for today lol..... drug dealing 2 hard 4 me
It's going down to -44 C here tomorrow.
That's one degree warmer than what's needed to cancel school ;_;
Is it bad if I've never driven manual once in my life?
ha you think that's bad?
i own a manual truck and i don't even know how to drive it
-44 °C?!
Holy motherfuck
What if it's farther than the bus goes
Use the bus and your feet.

And school wasn't even canceled, it's fucking freezing here
It's not even that cold here. Only -2°C and the snow is like the first ever this winter that actually doesn't melt right away
So i had brain surgery, everything went fine. Life is still shit.
What did i miss? :words:
