I've never been on a real date. The concept is a bit weird to me, like, both people are interested in each other and try to sniff out if the other person is a humongous plonker or a p cool dude. So obviously everyone is putting on a huge act, avoiding to show any bad character traits and generally try to sell themselves as hot shit.
I don't know, I don't trust people much, and I'd never trust a date. I always try to set up a normal, regular social situation where I can really get to know someone. For me, love and affection grows over time the more I know someone, It's not something I decide after a certain number of situation specifically set up to make each other interested.
Then again, I've been single for 5 years now...
So my grandfather died this morning around 5:20 am central.
Cancer everywhere pretty much, as well as years of drinking.

My gramps died about ten years ago. He was a magnificent bastard. Ace pilot in WWII, survived the entire war in a fighter plane which is incredible, considering how pilots got shit down like flies. Got shot down several times himself and escaped from an english POW camp. He continued to be a pilot after the war until he grew too old. He was also a heavy smoker and ultimately died from it at age 81. Doctors said he could live if he quit, but he'd forever lose his sense of taste and he wasn't having that. Left me with many questions I was too young to ask and a biography that provides many answers and unvarnished truth.
I've never been on a date with a guy only girls. Prob much of the same except I'd probably like it better with a guy hurr.

My Grandfather died in '04, he was originally going to be a pilot but they found out he needed glasses so he was a ground crewman...Over here in Canada, not as cool as yours, although he had some choice words about the Englishmen and Americans he had to share a barracks with.

Heh my grampa was a ace pilot in WWII also. He did night flying on a carrier aka the craziest job ever. After the war he was a test pilot and has some zany stories about test flying stuff. He might be still alive but he cannot function as a person due to his alzheimers.
My grandpa killed himself.
One of my grandfathers died before I was born and the other a few months after, I never knew either of them.
My grandpa killed himself.
My other grandpa who was also a pilot but civilian was found dead sitting in his bed with a empty beercan.
My grandfather on my Dad's side disappeared when my Dad was a year old and nobody ever heard from him since.
My grandfather on my Mom's side was this mad cool dude, but he died in '06 from a heart attack. Nonstop drinking and smoking will do that.
I've never met my dads dad, don't even now if he's alive or not. but his stepdad died last year. I never knew him very well but it still sucks. my great aunt and uncle died last year too... and my great-great uncle. bad year for my dads side of the family :(
my grandad on my mums side is alive but although he seems outwardly healthly he's been having health troubles and he's over 70 now so I'm kinda scared about that. same for my nan.
my grandparents are great and im sad now. I'll miss my grandads stories and the Christmases and birthdays without them :(
My grandad was part of a canine civil police unit in Kenya during civil unrest, he had a heart attack in the shower when I was 6.
My other grandad is still alive and pissing my dad off successfully, every day.

How you holdin up?
My grandad is a Ukrainian from some piddly little farm in the middle of the "ivano-Frankivs Oblast (state/county) and was in their equivalent of the British territorial army. He told me he escaped the Nazi's in high school, amd went on to be blown up with General Bernard Montgomery and survive. he's 87, on enough drugs to stop a horse (including warfarin) and refuses to stop trying to be active. He admits he's not as active as he used to be (obviously after a heart attack and a few surgeries), but it's amazing hes still here. I wouldnt have it any other way though.
One of my granddads is a violent alcoholic
The other used to be a violent alcoholic but he almost died a few times and now all he do is sit in a chair chain smoking and abusing whatevers around him lol

I got Scribblenauts: Unlimited recently and honestly it's the most creative game I've ever played, and the most fun game I've played in a good while. It's also been managing to make me laugh which is saying a lot. In what other game can you sick a tiny helpful fearless adorable divine flying rainbow laser puppy upon a horde of angry dapper fire-breathing velociraptors? Or summon a gargantuan hungry ravenous baby that goes around eating edible shoggoths? I also made my character Alan Wake since the game is about writing things into existance.
Dungeonland is also fun, if not buggy as shit right now. Looking forward to Dragonborn coming out Feb 5th also.

working on an sl1 playthrough of dark souls, getting incredibly frustrated with ornstein and smough, and their third partner, the camera that never ever aims at what you want it to >:(

Counter Strike : GO All day every day.
God fucking damn it Valve. This latest STEAM update makes me want to tear my motherfucking face off. Sometimes I'm getting messages way late, most of which, to my luck, are really important. I just had a talk with someone about almost getting my admin powers revoked on a server I regular because I wasn't responding to people begging me for help on the server. Some other messages of a more private matter weren't sent and I haven't seen them until days after the fact. Really pissed off with this.
Holy fucking shit I just played Proteus and oh my God that was one hell of an experience. Bipolarity The Game, one moment I'm really fucking happy and the other I'm on top of some mountains surrounded by mystical idols when suddenly the sky turns bright red, I turn around a few times and when I look at my front there's a fucking ghost standing in front of me what the fuuuck I just closed my eyes and walked away from it as fast as I could, I seriously recommend it.
I'd rather not go through that again, especially considering my mother (I live at home) said that she would be furious with me if I needed help again.
You're 18 she has no say.
You don't even need to tell her, just say you're going to the store when you go for your appointments or something.
Get a therapist/counsellor instead of a psychiatrist. GPs will only refer you to psychiatrists for mental health issues, and psychiatrists aren't trained in therapy. They identify symptoms and prescribe treatment. Kind of like how a doctor won't do physiotherapy after an injury, they'll refer to you a physiotherapist.
A psychologist would work as well if you know a good one but they're generally expensive. (Not sure where you live but even in countries with free healthcare they generally practice privately and aren't covered by a single-payer system - counsellors usually are covered)
I need to start even-lifting if I wanna have a badass hot body by the end of my life.
I feel really self conscious about going to the gym, though. Very small town, so I'm bound to bump into somebody.

You can always do everything at home, that's what I've done for the past two years. I bought a couple dumbbells and a mat, brought me from underweight skinny bastard to toned lightly-muscled healthy weight guy in a couple of months from just doing tons of pushups, crunches, and of course lifts, etc.
There's a lot of dumb hot-headed idiots where I am so going to an actual gym wasn't something I wanted to do.
Went to dentist
Face numb as fuck lol. Sorta lame.
Holy fuck my dentist is attractive though. Like. wow marry me.
People need to stop being jerks sometimes. :(
