I know where you're coming from, but I can relate to milk's situation, at least somewhat.
If his dad is in jail, how will milk live, assuming his mom doesn't have a job and milk is unable/unwilling to move out? I sure hope they can find a way.

I would like to agree with this, but I think elevate is right. Gotta think about this in the long run and in a logical manner, instead of the emotional route. milkandcooki might suffer a bit more than he has to, until he get the chance to move out.

My family's so split apart they've never had any events or anything for the past 30 years.

The 80ish That live in Perth live within 15km of each other. 10 other family members live on the same street as me. Somehow, I am still an only child and I live with my single mother and my dog.
Also thinking of getting a cat for myself soon as I have grown out of my allergy to them.
My mom has two brothers and four sisters. The youngest sister of the family ended up being the burnout. Even though she's really intelligent, runs a business, and is generally very successful, she's nothing but badmouthed. Why? She's a lesbian, and she's had a girlfriend for about four years now.
This is why I plan to move far away from my family and change my relationship status on Facebook when I get a boyfriend like nothing really happened. That way, shit won't get flung.
